I saw Dr.Mujkic last Thursday 12/17 ,went there with my x-ray images ,see told me it might be fracture in my foot but the images are not clear and she requested CT scan and told me you will come with result in 24 hours and I will give you instructions, the appointment for CT scan is after a week and this is my 4th time calling the office and leaving my phone number to call me back to ask her a follow-up question and she never called, I can't drive because of my foot otherwise I would go to the office and ask her again, she doesn't care about her patient, the office didn't even call to see how I'm doing like other doctors do!!!!! So disappointed!!! I don't recommend any one to go and see her. The front desk and nurses are nice though. read more

This office communicates one thing and behind the patient's back tricks patient for monetary gain. There is no real health care here and they are out to scam their patients. An unauthorized charge was made to my credit card on file without me authorizing it or even informed beforehand that it would take place. And this was after I refused a product. So I don't have the product yet I am still charged without my permission. I wouldn't trust an office that does that. I wonder how many other patients were scammed and they didn't even pay attention to what was being billed. Scary read more

We have all experienced the anxiety associated with seeing a new doctor! What kind of personality will he or she have! How well will we relate! Let tell you that this was the very best experience with a doctor I have ever had! I arrived at Ashburn Foot and Ankle, and met Dr. Cameron Phipps. This the first time in my life to visit a Podiatrist! Dr. Phipps came into the examination room with a big smile on his face and introduced himself! He made me feel very welcome and at ease. Dr. Phipps asked me what was going on? I explained my issue and you could tell that he already had an idea about what was going on! He ordered some X-rays. After reviewing the pictures, he made some suggestions and scheduled a follow up appointment! Dr. Phipps is the bomb.com! I feel fortunate to have found him! He is a really good doctor? You can tell that his demeanor is genuine - not the I have to smile because it's business! I highly recommend Ashburn Foot and Ankle, if you're in need of Podiatrist! Had a great experience w Dr Idicula, he treated me for a very resistant plantar wart. I never felt pressured, once the treatment reached the point of surgery Dr Idicula made a professional recommendation for surgery but also offered to continue topical treatment options if I wasn't ready for surgery. The staff in the Ashburn office was spectacular, always very friendly & professional. Costs were reasonable, and Dr Idicula made many over the counter recommendations to help keep costs in line versus insisting that I buy from him (like many drs do these days!). In all I highly recommend Family Foot & Ankle, A++. I visited the Ashburn office 90% of the time but also the Fairfax office on occasion. read more

I had my first appointment here last week, I was referred by my family doctor because I have been having severe pain on the top and the heel of my left foot. First of all, it is in a very nice area of Ashburn. The building was pretty nice. It was on the 3rd floor of the building. The waiting room was not really big, but it did not matter because there were only a couple other people waiting besides me. The waiting room was nicely decorated, comfortable and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. They did a great job at making me feel welcome. I really did not have to wait very long before I called into the exam room. Which was a change from most of the doctors I have seen in the last year. The doctor, Dr. Richard Mendelsohn, came in about 7 minutes later. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He let me ask any questions I wanted and talk as much as I needed to without making me feel like I was being rushed. He examined my feet and then I had to get some x-rays and a sonogram of my feet, which was all done in the office and pretty quickly. Even the results of the x-rays did not take long. He gave me his diagnosis and I was on my way, feeling pretty good about the whole thing. It was a nice change from the doctor's offices I have been to lately. I was a first time patient with painful ingrown toe nails. I happened to pick this practice because it is near my work. I didn't specify a doctor, and ended up seeing Dr. Gary Scheib by luck of the draw. This was the first doctor appointment I can remember where the surgery was performed immediately. It was done virtually painlessly, and I found Dr. Scheib most pleasant - a good thing for keeping one's mind off of what's being done. I can't say enough good things about this experience. Family Foot and Ankle Center is an excellent practice. Everyone is friendly and professional and very helpful. I could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. Petronek. He has restored my ankle and is excellent at what he does. He has a endearing bedside manner and spends time to explain and to ask how I am doing. *EDIT* Doctor Gary Scheib called me back and he took 50% off the bill. i'd say that's a good customer service. 3stars! If you bring your car in for a repair, what is the mechanic supposed to give you? An estimate of the repair, right? Well, I believe that's what all service providers are supposed to do so that a huge bill statement won't slap you in the face later. So, I met with Doctor Gary Scheib. A good doctor, took xray, told me what is wrong with my ankle and GAVE me a walking boot, which is of no use at all and I only wore it for two and half days. Rest of my four weeks recovering period I was on crutches which I borrowed from my friend. Now, the reason why I gave it two stars. They said nothing about the cost of the boot. LIke I said, he used the word GIVE, and I took it literally (give means free). Then weeks late came the bill, $250 for the freaking useless boot. Called them up immediately and the receptionist (an older lady) is very unreasonable; picked on my words and kept repeating the cost of the boot (useless information which I can see from the statement). Not resolving my issue at all. IF THEY HAVE TOLD ME THE COST OF THE USELESS BOOT, I'M SURE I WOULDN'T HAVE TAKEN IT. TERRIBLE. read more
