I put a project request on Yelp as I would typically do in this instance and got responses from 5 different companies. All the companies ranged about the same in the price but Potomac Towing was the most responsive. I do NOT regret that decision. I had the opportunity to speak with Gabriel to schedule my tow and his response time was SPECTACULAR! No matter the time in the 24 hour window of when I scheduled my tow, he answered within 20 minutes which I loved. Sean actually performed my tow. I was scheduled for 8 am but he was EARLY which I again loved! He came, hooked the car up fast and went on his way. I did thoroughly appreciate his knowledge on cars when we discussed my main car issue and need for the tow, but I moreso appreciated his words of encouragement after. THIS IS THE PLACE TO USE!!! The staff at Dad's Towing were extremely rude, condescending, and hostile. Treated me like a criminal while I was still nursing injuries from the crash. Nursing whiplash and bruises while talking to a lady who more or less refused to help me. Had to get a friend to take me to their tow yard to retrieve my vehicle to make sure they wouldn't add any more exorbitant charges or something else nefarious while I was supposed to be recovering from injuries. Short, snippy, accusatory, and overall extremely unpleasant. Been a long time since I've been treated with such abject disdain. Having someone crash into you and total your car is extremely stressful and Dad's Towing will make it even more stressful by treating you like scum. I will be making formal complaints to Metro PD for towing my car here and to anyone else I can think.
