This is not my first experience with this dealership, and unfortunately, it has only reinforced my previous concerns. The only reason I continued using the Bethesda location was because my extended warranty required that warranty repairs be performed there in order to maintain coverage. Since purchasing this vehicle, I have experienced repeated service issues. On multiple occasions after servicing, the technicians failed to reset the vehicle, forcing me to make unnecessary return trips. My navigation system has also had ongoing problems since I purchased the vehicle. Every time I bring it in, I am told it will be looked at, yet nothing has ever been corrected. My greatest concern, however, is a recurring safety alert that has been appearing intermittently for nearly a year. Each time I have taken the vehicle to the dealership, I have been told there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and that it simply needs to remain charged. That explanation makes no sense because the warning continues to appear even when the battery is fully charged at 100%. Recently, the alert has become much more frequent, which has significantly increased my concern. This issue is especially alarming because my previous Range Rover Velar caught fire while my son was driving on the highway last year. He narrowly escaped what could have been a tragic accident. I have shared this history with the dealership multiple times, hoping they would take my concerns seriously. Instead, I continue to be told that the vehicle is fine. I even contacted Land Rover Corporate regarding this issue. I was told that unless the warning is actively displayed while the vehicle is being inspected, there is essentially nothing they can do. That response is unacceptable for a recurring safety warning on a luxury vehicle. I purchased this vehicle expecting exceptional quality, reliability, and customer service. Instead, I have experienced repeated unresolved issues, poor communication, and a lack of urgency regarding what could potentially be a serious safety problem. My confidence in this vehicle has been completely undermined. No customer should have to repeatedly report the same safety concern for over a year without a meaningful resolution. I sincerely hope Land Rover reviews how these cases are handled before someone is seriously injured. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend purchasing a Range Rover if this is the level of support customers can expect after spending well over six figures on a vehicle.

She also followed up with me afterwards to make sure everything was working well. Fast forward a year. Seems as though there's been a shift in staff and priorities. I attempted to call and get an issue taken care of with my navigation system's SD card. Now, the phone isn't answered by a person directing your call, but by an AI phone assistant which keeps you in a constant loop where you never speak to anyone. Next I went to the dealership. I was made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about. I'd done my investigation. And the rep told me false information about my navigation system. Instead they wanted me to bring the vehicle in for servicing because they were sure it was an electrical problem. I'd just had the vehicle serviced by my own LR certified mechanic. Turns out it was a bad SD card that needed replacing. Thank you Tyson's Land Rover and Chat GPT. BOTH more helpful than the employees at the Bethesda location. Just because I'm a female, does not mean that I do not know my way around cars.

The DC fast charging system failed completely during a family road trip in December 2025. When I reported it, the dealership repeatedly suggested the problem was the charging station -- not the vehicle. I had personally witnessed an identical 2023 BMW iX charge successfully at the same station where mine failed. It took my husband physically accompanying me to the dealership before anyone took the matter seriously. The vehicle was at BMW of Rockville for 62 consecutive days. During this time the dealership attempted to return the vehicle unrepaired, failed to record a loaner vehicle request causing a two-month service delay, and missed multiple committed repair deadlines without proactive communication. I was provided a gasoline-powered loaner despite owning a battery electric vehicle. The repair ultimately required replacement of the Combined Charging Unit and Battery Management Electronics -- over $8,200 in parts. BMW's own repair order confirmed the fault was with the vehicle all along -- the same conclusion I had reached four months earlier. The vehicle faulted on its first real-world DC fast charging attempt at Electrify America the day after return. I have since filed complaints with NHTSA, the Better Business Bureau, and the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. BMW of North America has failed to respond to a formal compensation demand letter despite a 14-day response deadline. I share this as a factual account to inform other EV owners of what to expect if they encounter a serious warranty issue at this dealership.

Recently I was in the market for a new car after mine completely broke down. I found Montrose Motors online, and to be honest the reviews were super mixed. I was a little hesitant but decided to check it out anyways. Online you're able to look at their inventory, and get the Carfax. I enjoyed that everything was linked together and it made browsing extremely easy. I was able to print off each car that I was interested in and bring the print out in. I was shown every car that I was interested in plus one more that fit my needs. I came back later that night to test drive the car with my boyfriend. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. I worked mostly with the employee Sam. He was very nice and knowledgeable... Plus extremely patient. The dealership allowed me to take the car the next day to my mechanic to get it looked at. There were a couple of minor things I wanted corrected before purchasing. The dealership had no problem fixing all of my requests for free. When it came time to actually purchasing a car Sam was helpful when dealing with my bank for an auto loan. If you are in the area and looking to purchase a car give this place a thought.
