Unfortunately, too often my clothes are returned with little or no starch at all. This has become a recurring problem. The owner has even entered "heavy starch" into my customer profile, yet it is still hit or miss whether my clothes are prepared the way I requested. I spend an average of $60 per visit, which is too much money to have such a simple request ignored. Heavy starch is not a special or complicated request. It should be done consistently every time. This is a good business, and when they are on, they are on. I just wish they would provide the same level of consistency every visit.

We've used them three times in the last two months and have never been steered wrong. But this time I was completely blown away. I asked them to take a pillowcase that was for my son, which was over the size for his pillow that he loves. And turn it into two pillowcases. I placed an order for five children's shirts on July 20. It was weird that they asked for a mailing address, but the confirmation said the order was for pickup only. On July 27, I called the store and spoke with Nick. Nick was my point of contact and very responsive, but not proactive. During the call, Nick told me that they received the order but not the payment. Considering it was seven days later, the transaction had already posted to my credit card. I forwarded the order and the cleared credit card transaction to Nick, and he told me he would send it to his boss for verification. On July 31, I had to reach out to Nick to follow up. He confirmed that they were still waiting on the payment processor to confirm receipt. On August 3, the payment was finally confirmed, and at that moment, the shirts were ordered. No further context on the timeline of this order. On August 10, I reached back out to Nick to check the status, and he let me know that the last shirt had arrived that day. On August 11, I received an email stating the shirts were ready. I told my sister to go pick them up, and when she arrived, she was greeted by an unfriendly last who brought up the order issue. My sister didn't get a good feeling from her. Overall, the experience took longer than it should have. School started on August 17, and I ordered the shirts almost a month in advance only to receive them seven days before school started. I'm not sure if they need to work on their payment processing, order tracking, customer service, or proactive communication, but this was not a pleasant experience. Also this was a kindergartens shirt. They grow like weeds there was no time for sizing errors because of systemic delays. Honestly, if the school had another vendor, I would have gone with them.
