They are offered in Giclee, original acrylic and decoupage art gift boxes. She does commissioned art as well. RecessionCandy.com was 'established out of necessity' in 2009 making wonderful english toffee. Their friends and family encouraged them to pursue Recession Candy Company selling the delicious toffee they call 'simply the best'. The third part of their business is the unique pieces of jewlery, touch stones, slate etchings, etc. they offer at local Farmer's Markets and various artisan markets in Ashland and throughout the Rogue Valley. Then, there is the incredible graphic design work of Kay. She takes Jean's art and creates the decoupage art boxes, mousepads, coasters, notecards, holiday/cards even customizes work for commercial and retail establishments. Gem of a store in Ashland, pun intended…read more They have an excellent collection of semi-precious stones and jewelry at reasonable prices, and we shopped to our hearts content, buying a fossil pendant for my wife, and one for her mother. The kids (and I) enjoyed digging through the (free) rock and mineral box. Service from Joseph, one of the most knowledgeable salespeople I've ever encountered, was excellent. We will definitely return next time we are in town.

Tika's business is a tiny bit hard to find...your GPS will tell you that you have arrived and you will be in the middle of Crater Lake Avenue wondering if you are drunk or crazy. You might be, but Visions of Wonderland is a tucked away corner of one of the three buildings on the corner lot there. Essentially, pull in like you are going to Squeeze-In Sandwich shop and drive around the building to the back. Tucked in the corner you will find Visions! Tika has a great attitude, a fun style, serves up coffee, tea and sometimes a sweet snack. You can bring your own beverages and snacks, as well. Tika is patient and talks the class easily through the painting, even challenging ones! I've been following Visions of Wonderland on Facebook for the last few months, and I love how Tika keeps it interesting, promotes the different classes, for kids, different media and she also takes suggestions for new ideas! We purchased a one of a kind Art Deco cabinet in the UK for our new 1900s home in Medford and had…read moreit shipped over. It has very distinctive curved doors with inset stained glass panels and unfortunately, in the shipping process, these were damaged. A little nervously, because we were new to the area and didn't know anybody and only based on online reviews, we took them into Neoglassic. Andy, the owner and lead designer, was amazing in being able to re-craft the glass panels to look like the originals. The care that he took in his fabrication and design and the detail that he noticed and replicated, matching the curve of the glass panel to an imperfect bump in the slot of the door was incredible, truly that of a master artisan. If you need custom glass work, go see Andy, you won't be disappointed, he is extremely talented and a perfectionist! And as life long collectors of unique antique pieces, we know a little about artisans and restoration, Andy is as good as any glass expert you will find in the large metro centers, we are so lucky to have him in Medford!

The guy was spending like 10-mins just explaining details about jewelry they sell to a customer who did not want to buy anything just for fun! The lady behind the counter who helped me was super friendly and nice. And she wrapped what I bought with a lot of care. I wish I lived in Ashland and could visit them more often. I bought a few of their beautiful leather bookmarks for myself, but they're going so fast because everyone loves them and wants one! I wish they had things they sell in their store on their website too, so I could order more bookmarks, but sadly that's not the case.

Ashland tends towards the artsy and funky, so this place really stands out as a high-end general store. They have a small assortment of fine wares in several areas: glassware, jewelry, baby items, cosmetics, books and my personal favorite, bon-bons. At every stop I would ooh and aah over something. When I was looking in the children's section they managed to have some of my all time favorites (Ferdinand the Bull and several from the Emberley drawing series). The owner was very friendly and this is their third store with the other two in the Bay Area. Great place to gift shop for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.
