The guy was spending like 10-mins just explaining details about jewelry they sell to a customer who did not want to buy anything just for fun! The lady behind the counter who helped me was super friendly and nice. And she wrapped what I bought with a lot of care. I wish I lived in Ashland and could visit them more often. I bought a few of their beautiful leather bookmarks for myself, but they're going so fast because everyone loves them and wants one! I wish they had things they sell in their store on their website too, so I could order more bookmarks, but sadly that's not the case.

Ashland tends towards the artsy and funky, so this place really stands out as a high-end general store. They have a small assortment of fine wares in several areas: glassware, jewelry, baby items, cosmetics, books and my personal favorite, bon-bons. At every stop I would ooh and aah over something. When I was looking in the children's section they managed to have some of my all time favorites (Ferdinand the Bull and several from the Emberley drawing series). The owner was very friendly and this is their third store with the other two in the Bay Area. Great place to gift shop for a special occasion or just to treat yourself.

I was able to find a device that had been eluding me for weeks: a spiralizer large enough to handle the stupid huge zucchini that my garden churns out every year, and finally, I found success here! I've seen less selection of cooking doo-dads at big box stores, even those that specialize in culinary contraptions. Now, I'm going to have to pray there's a Paddington Station closer to home when I'm looking for the next gadget, or I'll be making frequent trips to Ashland. My wife had similar success, leaving with a dress for herself and our daughter, as well as a couple of cute flower rings. The selection here is almost overwhelming, but if you're like me, and at least *try* to avoid buying everything on Amazon these days, skip the big box stores, and make a stop at Paddington Station. If you can wear it, hang it up, or use it at home, it's probably here. (FYI, Yelp has two entries for this store in Ashland, so if you're experiencing déja vu reading this...now you know why!)

I'm a big fan of popping in here on weekdays over weekends. There's so much stuff and not a ton of room so it's really rad when you snag an off-peak moment to peruse. There's a shop cat, Charlie, that I've never seen leave the comfy chair in back and the owner, Heather, who is coolAF and actually super young- which is not typically what you'd expect from the owner of an antique and odd art shop. There's jewelry, Knick knacks, LOTS of art, of course. Many originals and if Heather is there she can magically tell you the origin story of the art and artist for EVERYTHING in the shop... and there's like 3000 things in the shop. Like any antique shop, it can be hot or miss and there's often piles or cramped aisles but that's called having character in the antique biz (I don't actually know that, just guessing) and I feel right at home here.

She has an incredible collection of 1920s Czech glass necklaces, new and upcoming jewelry designers and the best of every era. The store is a place to see new and iconic artists whether it be clothes, paintings, jewelry, furniture and more. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back later in the week to buy gifts for friends and family.

I myself,am a veteran pro musician with credentials that include writing music sound tracks for Sony Music Corp. Playstation video games,National touring credits, and Internationally released album music writers credits for a world famous punk rock band from L.A. as well as an ASCAP'd published songwriter. But because i am 55 yrs. old, with a bleached 10" tall spiked mohawk,am covered from neck to fingernails in 30 yr. old lousy tattoo work, and have teeth that look like a beat up picket fence with boards missing, this "teacher"of other peoples children felt it was ok to bully, menace, embarrass, and humiliate a fellow musician IN FRONT OF SAID CHILDREN,because he was too ignorant to even ask or listen to anything i said.Instead he set an example for these kids, that judging a person by their physical appearance is perfectly ok,and furthermore, looking different equals a lesser person whether they are a fellow musician or not.MR. LUZ YOU ARE TEACHING OTHER PEOPLES KIDS TO BE BIGOTED,HATEFUL,AND IGNORANT,AND I FULLY EXPECT A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM YOU BEFORE I CAN BE FREE OF THE HUMILIATION YOU CAUSED ME WHILE I WAS TRYING TO DO MY JOB.To do anything less only furthers your lack of professionalism.
