However they all did an amazing job at keeping me calm and collected making sure I knew what was going to happen through the entire thing. After getting my first real job and getting the benefits and funds to (finally) take care of myself. The one thing I wanted to get done ASAP was removing my wisdom teeth. All 4 of mine had grown in, luckily straight up, and didn't cause me to get them out sooner than expected. I was referred to this location and from what I remember, was an easy process. I made the appointment, went to it and told them what I wanted. They gave me the process/plan/billing of what it would be to get that procedure done. I remember meeting Dr. Harris and just saying "Please get these extra teeth out of my mouth. I have too many and I want them out!" haha. The front desk staffs were super friendly and helpful with any questions that I may have had. Day of surgery: My boyfriend (now hubby) was the driver who got me there and home after the surgery. When I got there, I signed my forms, and was brought to the back. They gave me some medicine that knocked me out and then woke me up when it was all over. I seriously thought it was maybe 30 mins or an hour. My husband still to this day told me that it was no more than 10-15 mins. He said he was just getting cozy on the waiting chair and just got mid-page of an article until they call him back to come "Pick me up". I "supposedly" kept telling the staff and Dr. Harris "Thank you" while they were doing the finishing process and got me into the car. No more than the weekend, my mouth healed great. It was so crazy feeling those crazy holes of the missing teeth in my mouth. At the follow up, Dr. Harris checked my mouth/gums...everything looked good. I couldn't help but ask if I could give him a hug. He really helped me out with the removal of my wisdom teeth and I highly recommend him to those who wish to get their wisdom teeth out! This second time I had minimal pain and downtime. They're practicing social distancing -- masks required, hand sanitizer, minimal patients in the office at the same time. Before you go under (if you get sedation), they have a playlist going on the TV for you to enjoy. My experience was great.

I had an issue during my recovery and he was able to see me the VERY next day. He explains everything in a way easy to understand, and matches his explanations to your level of medical knowledge. He wasn't incredibly familiar with a genetic condition in my family SO HE LOOKED IT UP. At my second consult, you could tell that he had actually reviewed my chart from my previous surgery before the appointment because he referred back to a few things that because of my genetic issue would need to be adjusted with the sedation. That a doctor would pay that much attention to/for me was amazing. He's got a great bedside manner, smiling/laughing/joking and REALLY put me at ease. He also understands that deep fear of dentists some people have, and works hard to put you at ease. His entire staff is phenomenal!

In booking the appointment for urgent dental care, I confirmed with the scheduler that the practice takes my insurance (high level federal employee dental coverage). I was informed when I arrived for my appointment that they do not take my insurance and was asked to self-pay instead. I canceled the appointment on the spot. Problematic on several levels: 1. Waste of 2 weeks to address an urgent dental need when another practice could have been found. 2. The possibility that treatment will now cost more because of further delay. 3. I had to ask the business manager *not* be charged for the scheduled visit. 4. The business manager, who was nice and listened, seemed surprised at my experience because "the practice takes very few forms of insurance". Nice. 5. Taking time off from work unnecessarily. In a climate of the corporatization of health care-- not a good look if the goal is to convince the public that the business cares about the community it "serves".

He offered several options which included differing costs and did not push me to choose which plan. He explained the pros and cons of each one. I experienced minimal pain and greatly appreciated their approach to prepping for treatment to keep the procedure as safe as possible. This included a special mouthwash and antibiotic to make sure I didn't get any type of infection. The office staff was spot-on too from check in to check out and coordination of follow-up visits. I can't recommend Dr. Cyr and his staff enough!

Finally this February my teeth were hurting enough that I felt I had to take action. I was able to make an appointment quickly and assigned to Dr. Agnihotri. The consultation went well and Dr. Neil, who was friendly, said they would take care of me. The surgery appointment was made three weeks from that time. The day of the surgery I was a little nervous, as I think is normal. It was successful and has been healing well since. Whenever I go to see Dr. Neil I feel relaxed because of his positive attitude and reassurance. I definitely recommend this surgeon to anyone!
