It's so hard to find a good dentist in the Midlothian Chesterfield area. Ones that stay in their true scoop of expertise. I really enjoyed the treatment I received here and the dentist (there are 3 on rotation I saw Dr Nico), was conservative and did not recommend more than what I needed. That's so important. I love-love-loved my visit to this modern dental facility in Midlothian. A big thank you to Groupon for the introduction. Also, what a fun, smart way to reel in new patients!! As someone in-between dental insurance, paying less than $50 (with an extra discount) for a full cleaning, x-rays, and full exam was seriously awesome. I walked in about ten minutes prior to my appointment, handed over the forms I printed in advance from their website, and had a seat. HGTV was on the flat screen, but I didn't watch much because they almost immediately called me back. Bottles of water are in the waiting area as well. My hygienist Emily was super super sweet and cheerful. She made me feel right at home and even asked what I wanted to watch on tv...because, yes, they have tvs at every patient station!! It's set up with subtitles so it's basically right in your face during the cleaning. Such a cool distraction! I watched the Today show. X-rays were easy too. They did both the biters and the pano as part of the Groupon. Didn't take long at all...and painless! The cleaning was thorough and she even checked for gum inflammation. I never experienced that before. But it was good to know that both my teeth and my gums were in perfect condition! Dr. Murry popped in last to do the exam. She was also detail oriented and easy to talk to. Overall this visit was totally fantastic (and free of pain)....and if I'm still living in the area in April, I can assure you I will be back! read more

I was in the market for a new dentist, and called on Wednesday and was offered an appointment first thing the next day! (The receptionist was surprised and did stress that this is very rare-there was just a cancellation). I printed out my paperwork and brought it in-the check in process was seamless. The decor and feel of the office was very modern and comforting-nothing like the cold, sterile offices I'm used to sitting in. There was even a keurig machine with multiple selections as well as a mini-fridge filled with bottles of water all in the waiting room! I was called back quickly, and proceeded to get all my X-Rays done. My hygienist was very sweet and friendly, and very gentle (but still effective!) with my cleaning. I'm used to wincing and weeping from cleanings that make my gums bleed, but the only discomfort I felt was my own nervousness (I was very overdue for a cleaning). Then Dr. Bokinsky came in. I promise you, I had no idea that doctor evaluations were supposed to be thorough. In all my life, I've always had dentists that come in, do a cursory check, and hurriedly leave to the next patient. Dr. Bokinsky took the time to check everything and really got to work, all the while chatting with me and telling stories. And this wasn't all a show for a new patient to get them hooked-he didn't even know I was a new patient until the eval was almost over. He noticed new problems and things for me to keep an eye on, and was very kind. Overall, the whole experience calmed my nerves and everyone was knowledgeable and kind. You can tell there is a great camaraderie in this office (the front staff told me they were going to be taking one of the doc's kids to summer camp!) and everyone works hard to make the process seamless. Dr. Bokinsky was pretty good. I have to second that his assistant was awful. She was clumsy and actually bumped my front teeth a variety of times. I can't be 100% certain, but since this visit I have a small chip in this front tooth, but luckily it is still very usable and strong. But her clumsiness in a less strong tooth could have been catastrophic. read more

My two daughters were referred here by friends after "graduating" from their pediatric dentist. They worked my college student in before she headed back to Tech which was so appreciated. Then today my other teen who has had very traumatic orthodontia and oral surgeries was treated with such kindness and understanding. Everyone I spoke to was funny, professional and friendly and the environment is bright, modern and comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone whether you are totally comfortable with dentists or have anxiety-they will treat you with respect and compassion. Literally the BEST dental experience I have ever had! I called 2 days ago because I chipped a front tooth, and they got me on the schedule within 48hrs, even with being a new patient. The staff was amazing, friendly, funny, and very welcoming. I not only hot my tooth fixed, but they also squeezed me in for my long-overdue cleaning, and we worked out an amazing treatment plan for further dental work that I knew I needed. I have to say both my husband and I were very pleasantly surprised how good an experience we have both had at this dentist's office. The front desk staff are always friendly, have been gracious and forgiving when we had to miss our children's appointments, have gone above and beyond with Covid requirements, have all new equipment and up to date training, haven't pushed unnecessary procedures on us, are always friendly and professional. The office is modern and clean and has all the latest in dental technology it seems like to me. This office is by far the best dental practice we have had in the last 25 years of moving around different places, and dramatically better than the practice we left locally to come here. Actually, I cannot believe I am typing this and only leaving 1 stars. For years Murry & Kuhn has been a phenomenal practice. Dr. Brittney Murry, her husband and also Dr. Katie are wonderful dentists. Pleasant attitudes, welcoming smiles and patient bedside manner are their specialties! Their reputation is exceptional and absolutely incomparable. They stand for excellence! However, due to unforeseen circumstances through no fault of her own, Dr. Brittney Murry has been out for awhile so I scheduled my cleaning with another person in the practice (Dr. Katie). During my cleaning with Dr. Katie (WHO WAS EXCELLENT), it was found that I had a new cavity and apparently one I had forgotten about, so I unfortunately had to see another dentist there at the practice to get them filled same day since I was already there. And may I add, Emily the hygienist is EXCELLENT! (Dr. Katie was already booked and couldn't do the filling portion, so they slid me in to see Dr. Bokinsky). However, when moved over to the other side of the building to get 2 cavities filled, I was put with the most uncaring, impatient dentist named Dr. Bokinsky. His assistant (I do not know her name-long brown hair pulled back in a pony tail and was a taller woman) was very rude, very impatient and her attitude quite honestly was less than desirable and definitely not warranted for any reason. I felt so uncomfortable with Dr. Bokinsky and his assistant, that after being already numbed for the procedure and I politely asked for water, they both became very impatient and right down rude. He even walked around the corner in private to whisper something about me to someone else and how rude is that! Whatever you say about me can be said in front of me! I didn't even finish with the procedure. NO WAY! NO THANK YOU! I will go somewhere else. As bad as I want to stay a patient there, the dentist office itself is a place where most people never want to go. Dr. Brittney and her husband always make the experience pleasant, painless and always a smile on their faces! Their office staff A+A+A+ all of the time! Diane the office manager, could not have been more apologetic and it wasn't even her fault. No apology or anything from Dr. Bokinsky nor his rude assistant. As for Dr. Bokinsky and his assistant, I do not recommend them to ANYONE! This occupation requires providers who actually CARE about their patients and who know what being PATIENT is all about. They are always very friendly and helpful. Every time that I have been there or called on the phone to ask a question, each person I have talked to is knowledgeable and competent of each area I need. They take time to explain any thing I may not understand and address me personally. I have really always dreaded going to the dentist, but this is the first dentist that I do not mind going for my regular appointment. I have been a loyal patent for years and have been happy with my service before COVID19. I have underlying medical conditions and literally have been in my home going nowhere for 8 months. I reluctantly went to the dentist because of an extreme problem. They were accommodating as far as putting an air purifier in the room and opening the window for better ventilation. That being said, their " attempts " at being serious about the spread of COVID19 seem insincere , when the first thing you see is an individual wearing her mask under her nose at the front desk. I have repeatedly mentioned it to staff, but nothing has changed. A week after my last visit, I was diagnosed with COVID19. 2 1/2 weeks later I am returning to finish up the work because I have paid them $6,000. Someone in that office was a symptomatic and got me sick. I knew going to the dentist was a high risk activity and given my circumstances felt I had no other choice. That being said, the fact that this employee was not made to correct her mask wearing behavior has seriously made me think I need to find another dentist. read more

They are so pleasant and professional and go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed.
