Our engagement photos had come out spectacular which is why I asked her to do our wedding. On the day of the wedding she came to my hotel room early to take getting ready pictures and other pre-wedding activities. The photos of me and my bridesmaids were nice, and I think she was doing very well instructing everyone how to line up and capture the best shots. She was even kind enough to help me with carrying some items to the bus. Once we got to the church it started to go downhill, and I didn't realize until after all the festivities were over that we had missed out on some very important photo opportunities with family and our bridal party. I had sent Sarah a list in advance of everything I wanted done the day of the wedding and a lot of it was missed. We didn't get any pictures of our family and my husband didn't get any pictures with his groomsmen. Everyday we feel bad that we didn't get those important moments captured so we could gift them to our family. I was really expecting our photographer to be the voice in the room that gathered everyone together and reminded us of what needed to be done still, because as the bride I was being pulled in all directions, was losing track of time and living in the moment. Looking at our album it appeared to be mostly candid photos and the lighting wasn't good in some shots. I think Sarah was doing her best in a situation she had little experience in. From what I could tell, this was her first church wedding and probably one of the larger. I think she would've done better in a smaller intimate setting. Sarah had promised to enhance some photos for us, but that hasn't happened following some personal conflict. Sarah had made some public posts on her personal social media account that were disrespectful regarding Christianity, which felt like a slap in the face considering our wedding was in the church. Sarah should not have accepted our request to photo shoot our wedding knowing it was in a church since she had negative views of the religion. We would've also appreciated if she was transparent with us in expressing her discomfort and inexperience. In closing, I would recommend Sarah for small photo shoots based on her ability to navigate through those sessions and how comfortable and enthusiastic she is doing it. However, I would not recommend her for a church wedding or an event with over 50 people.

I just took a 3 hour DSLR crash course of sorts with Devon Anne Photography, and couldn't be…read morehappier. I'm finally comfortable taking pictures on manual mode--or at least attempting to--and I have a better idea of what to look for in terms of ideal light. Prior to her class, I was stuck on AV mode. The class does cover some technical detail, but for the most part, it's hands on. It was very laid back, and not intimating what so ever. I found the class very beneficial. Devon Anne Photography has also done our Christmas pictures and newborn pictures, in her studio. The newborn session was especially relaxed, go with the flow, and not stressful. With a 2 year old and brand new baby in tow, I really appreciated that.

This is the third set of photos that we have had done with Devon and we will keep coming back!…read morePhotography sessions can be so uncomfortable but the sunset session was actually fun. Our toddler was able to run, play, pick flowers, and be her playful, silly self. Devon always gives really helpful direction so you don't feel awkward and does an amazing job capturing sweet moments that are not forced at all. Her pictures are absolutely gorgeous, we always end up getting every single one because it's too hard to pick favorites!

I contacted her roughly a month ago (when I realized my sister's Group-On was about to expire). I left a message Friday/Saturday and didn't receive a call until Thursday of the following week! She then claimed she had tried to call me before (although there was no record or voicemail in my phone). I found out what days she had available to shoot and told her I needed to find out my sister's schedule so I'd call her back. When I called her back (about 20 minutes later), it went straight to voicemail! Apparently she's much nicer in person since my grandmother and sister appeared to have no major issues with her. After the session, I waited the two weeks she had said it would take to send the proof link to the photos; I actually gave her until Tuesday of the following week before I emailed her about the link. She then informed me that she had emailed me about this previously and then reported that the system that holds their photo proofs was down for a day or two. However, a few hours later, I had an email with the link. I think if the system was down, I should have been informed about it before I had to contact her since at that point, it was past the promised delivery date. Just out of professional courtesy. Against my better judgment, I let my sister and grandmother order photos so that she could document this once in a lifetime experience and share it with her friends. She said she'd send over an invoice, and I still haven't heard anything and it's been 5-6 days. Edit: Shortly after I posted this review, I received an invoice. 6 days after I asked for it. Go figure. So between not being informed when there is an issue with link delivery (AFTER the promised delivery date and AFTER I contacted her to find out the holdup) and lengthy periods of time to return a phone call (not email, she returned emails rather promptly), this whole ordeal has left a sour taste in my mouth. I did end up getting my sister's photos and they were wrapped and processed very professionally. My sister was very pleased with them! EDIT: The owner has contacted me and asked that I change my review; however, I stand by what I said. Although the photos did turn out wonderful and the way they were wrapped was very nice, I don't believe that good photos can completely make up for contact issues. If I was just rating the photos, they'd easily earn an 4 or 5. The processing and post work is flawless. It was the fact that I always had to contact her to find out where the photo proof link was or where the invoice was after the promised due date that was the problem, just to clarify. She did explain that she runs the business solely on her own, but I don't think that excuses these issues. If I had been informed before the fact, I probably would have let it go. But when I'm a paying customer (Group-on or not, since we did purchase other photos not included in our package), I expect to be informed when an issue arises as a matter of professional courtesy.

Amazing experience!…read more I am a new mom and didn't realize that newborn photos should have been taken within the first two weeks when they are the sleepiest. I scheduled an appointment with ADC when my daughter was almost 6 weeks Old. My daughter cried most of the session and was pretty difficult to photograph. Janice had the patience of a saint and took the extra time needed to calm her down, feed her, change her diapers and ultimately was peed on without removing the smile from her face. I highly recommend - Janice is such an amazing person and photographer. I basically sat in her comfy couch while Janice did all of the work in settling my daughter and taking great care of her. There were even refreshments for me while I waited. Highly recommend!!!!

Finally contacted Lisa directly to schedule a date. Six months later. No problem. We were able to book a session within a week or two after the call. Lisa came to our home, on time, fully prepared and ready to shoot. Armed with every whistle, bell and squeaker that elicited the most wonderful expressions from our girls. Lisa spent over an hour with us taking photos in several key areas outside. Once our session was done we met with Lisa at her studio two weeks later. We were so overwhelmed with the amount of great images that we decided to go home and think it over only to book another appointment. Again, no problem.
