I ate in the dining room on a Friday at dinner time. All was well until a band started playing in the bar. The room is WAAAAAY too small for a band and the noise level went so high that conversation was impossible!! We actually were shouting. We left sooner than we wanted to. Went to this Galentine event, a sip and shop. Received an email the week before stating there will be no seating. This was not mentioned in the original advertisement. When I got there, there was no place to hang your coat. The one coat rack maybe two was filled to capacity everybody else was just throwing their coats over chairs and couches that were in the reception area. There were only a handful of pub tables to eat at, dirty plates and glasses were everywhere. The food was very good, however, this was a very poor set up. Small dessert table mostly empty. I only saw chocolate sliced cake pieces I went back to this table several times but nothing changed. I would have loved to have a cup of tea or coffee, but that would not have been possible due to the poor set up. I would not return. read more

Our son had our dual birthday party at Scotland Run! It was a tremendous choice and success. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. Brogan, the event planner, could not be more helpful and welcoming to any of our questions or concerns. The room was perfectly set up and the staff couldn't not be more involved even helping to put out and organize all the decorations and favors. The banquet manager is easy to work with and extremely well organized. I really have never seen an event run better. The dinner staff are all friendly, efficient and quick with any requests. The dinner choices were delicious with receiving notable comments from guests on the crab cakes and chocolate trilogy cake. The bartender was exceptional and the drinks were perfect. The ballroom is updated with all the windows looking into the expansive golf course . You cannot get a better view or atmosphere in the area. The club house is so stately, clean and impressive. The pricing of the affair was extremely reasonable. If you are planning a party, Scotland Ron should be top on the list!!! read more

Sean is an excellent golf instructor! He explains the basics in great detail and uses visuals that really helped me understand the proper technique. He even took videos of my form during the lesson to show me where I could improve and explain why some hits turned out the way they did. In only 1 lesson my confidence has skyrocketed. You can tell he has a lifelong passion for the sport and is happy to be sharing that with others, especially beginners like me! read more

Scotland run golf club used to be a quarry years ago but they turned into a golf course. It's very elegant inside with beautiful views of the golf course. Lunch has a nice selection of sandwiches as small entrées. They also do a nice Sunday brunch. Just attended a wedding here. It was a nice place great views from the balcony looking out over the golf course. As a cool little bonus there must be some sort of skydiving or paragliding place right next to it because several small planes would drop a few people. What a disgrace. I understand prices are up and workers are short but as a brunch there should breakfast and lunch for $30 scrambled eggs n potatoes are not worth it! In past there's were 8 different entrees plus carving station bread station etc now it's 4 entrees no bread station and an omelette station. So disappointed don't bother to come here. My wife and I decided to give Scotland Run's Pub and Grill a try last night. To say it was a disaster is an understatement. Our reservations were for 7:30, we were seated about 10 minutes late. No big deal. That was the best part of the "meal". The waitress took our drink and order and came back about 10 minutes later with them. She then took our appetizer order telling us the kitchen was backed up ... After about 10 more minutes she took our entree order (short ribs and seafood risotto). At this point we still had no bread or appetizer. It is now past 8 and still no bread. The waitress comes and tells my wife that they are out of the Risotto. My wife decided the burger was probably the best bet at that point Now it is almost 8:30, still no appetizer and the 3 skimpy rolls were gone .. We finally got here attention to tell her we just want the bill for the two drinks and we would go somewhere else. The manager graciously took the drinks off and no bill. We would definitely not recommend this place, especially on a Saturday night. read more

Got to sit outside in very nice weather. Great service. Our food was very tasty. Coconut shrimp app. Salmon for me, shrimp for her. The only drawback to this place is that they can't seem to make a good mixed cocktail. I've tried their manhattan, old fashioned, and specialty drinks. None have been good. Shame because everything else about this place keeps making me want to come back. I suggest bartending staff needs some attention. I was there a few weeks ago on a Saturday when the mask mandate was lifted for vaccinated people. A young male bartender was very direct to me. He said he wasn't getting vaccinated and wouldn't wear a mask and if I had a problem with that I should stay home. I was very insulted and reported it to the bar manager who pretty much didn't care and said 'he'd take care of it' I emailed my experience as well but of course got no response. It's a shame some establishments have such little regard for their patrons especially in a place with an average customer age of 60+. read more

My husband and I are trying out new restaurants that we would not normally go to and ran across Scotland run golf course restaurant and we actually enjoyed it. We sat in the lounge and would not recommend that if you're looking for a quiet romantic dinner but enjoyed the boisterous sports conversations of the regulars. We had Mother's Day dinner there yesterday. They had a buffet. I was disappointed. For $42.00 per person, I was expecting more. They had no soup station, and their salad was just a bowl of tossed lettuce and a few tomatoes--no fixings like cheese, croutons, or a variety of dressings to choose from. For $42 a person, you would expect the shrimp to be peeled. I had a plate of steamed mussels and clams that were tasty, but half the shells were empty. My mom wanted an Apricot Sour, but they couldn't make one. Then she asked for a Pina Colada, and they had no mix. There were only two dessert choices, a spice cake that was delicious and a chocolate cake that was dry: nothing else, no pies or jello. Swanky. I was here last week for a corporate outing for a friends company. We had at 6:40 tee time and as we arrived there was a fog coming off of the rolling hills. I felt like I was at St. Andrews for a second! This course is WIDE OPEN. If you can't hit the fairways here, you need to hit the driving range. The course has some pretty intimidating hazards, like sand traps you need literal stairs to get down into. Theres a snack shop after the 9th hole and a beverage cart driving around the course so you're never at a loss for a drink or snack. I DID get a snooty little vibe from the crew though. We were given basically an itinerary that told us what times we should be at certain holes to make sure our pace was fast enough. We were playing a scramble, and were only slightly ahead of schedule, so I can tell you with 100% certainty that if we were all playing our own balls we would be way behind what theyre version of "on pace" would be. Other than that, the fairways were very well maintained, the greens were immaculate and the place was just clean and professional. I will be back. read more

This is the best public golf course in the 856 area. The course is simply exceptional. One of the harder golf courses as well. It starts you off on a par 5 at hole 1 and hole 10. Hole 10 is my favorite hole I've ever played. There's a lot of sand at this course which makes it challenging. The greens also have a lot of hills which makes putting much more challenging. The course is kept together so well. It's worth every penny. I'd much rather pay the extra $20-$30 to play here opposed to other courses. read more

We're here in Philly again because one of the greatest Uncle and Aunt pairing in the world have a surprise 50th birthday soiree (it was great and yeah he was surprised but almost ruined by the chef, thanks for wondering). Anyhow they get us on this semi private course. Fantastic from tee to green. The views remind you of a certain course in Augusta, GA. Very technical yet forgiving and always offering such beautiful back drops for your shots. They have the biggest bunkers I've ever seen and such creativity, you get to drive through some of them! Wow is your thought as you drive around corners to see your next adventure. I have to say I had a great time here and the sights and sounds are phenomenal. I'd come back to play anytime I could. read more

Looking to try something new. So, I decided to take my wife to Highlander Pub and Grill. We sat in the main dinning area for dinner. Service was slow for only having 8 tables occupied, but not a big deal for us and we enjoy each other company. We had the mussels, hot wings, shepherds pie, and lobster ravioli. The food tasted good for a pub setting. However, we became extremely sick that night from the food, which then continued into the next day. Seeing that most of the clientele that was there where older, this could easy put someone in the hospital. I would not recommend base on our experience. There are a lot of other places to eat at that you would not need to spend the next couple of days trying to feel better from. read more

we recently bought tickets for one of the French Cooking Classes, it was a horrible experience. we didn't do any cooking, we didn't eat the food being prepared by the instructor chef, it was banquet style with well over a 100 attendees. we paid $85 per person, the food and experience was in no way worth that price. I would not recommend a special even hosted by Scotland Run, I feel the description about the even was very misleading. I do hear good things about the restaurant and golf course. read more

We held our daughter's wedding and could not have been happier! The venue is beautiful. All staff members (particularly De-Nice!) were exceptional and very attentive. The food was good (although the main course could have been a tad warmer) and all guests expressed what a wonderful time they had. 6/26/22. Just stopped over for a quick lunch. It certainly wasn't quick. I understand about work place shortages, but the wait for food was ridiculous. On Sundays there is usually a brunch, so we were given a limited, stained, disgusting paper menu. There was a napkin and dirt in the middle of the restaurant floor that no one bothered cleaned up the entire time we were there. Can only imagine what the kitchen was like. Furthermore, the waiter was unaware that the four beers my husband tried to order weren't available. My husband was served a chicken sandwich, minus the bread!
