The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

I don't think we had what the restaurant would consider a bad experience. They just do not have food that is even close to the same league they present it to be. They have a diner downstairs and I have no doubt we would have done better there. We had 7:30 reservations. We discovered that in Delta that is late night dining. That's not their fault. If they had prime rib, it was long gone. We got the filet because it's hard to screw that up. We started with the salad bar. There was nothing wrong with that. The meal came with the standard preparation of protein, starch, and veg at 10:00, 2:00 and 5:00 o'clock on the plate just like mom made me in the 60's. The veg was a few carrot pieces steamed. The mashed potatoes need a LOT of butter and cream. A little flavor in the veg and starch would have been nice. The steak came covered with nearly cooked onions and mushrooms also without any real flavor. Once uncovered, the steak wasn't as overcooked as expected. That was the one bright point. A little salt and pepper would have been nice. Apparently once you place a little flower, that doesn't look edible, on the plate it becomes fine dining. We ate about half the food and left. This place is only open for dinner Saturday night.
