I had a very disappointing experience with this store and would strongly caution others before purchasing here. I was told my size was sold out and was advised by a sales associate to order the dress two sizes larger, with the assurance that alterations would be simple. That was not true. A professional seamstress later confirmed the dress would need to be essentially remade at a cost of $350. I raised concerns about the fit as soon as the dress came in and continued to be unhappy with how it looked, as it did not match what I had been told to expect. My seamstress contacted the store (politely, while I was present), and a manager told her an exchange would be allowed. Based on that, I made an appointment and returned to the store. When I arrived, they denied that any exchange had been approved and falsely claimed my seamstress had been rude. At that point, I was left with a dress I cannot wear due to their incorrect guidance. I ultimately had to purchase another dress elsewhere. This was not my first issue with incorrect sizing advice from this store, although a previous situation was handled appropriately. Unfortunately, this time they refused to take responsibility. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. read more

I would leave no stars if possible. I bought my dress for my son's wedding at Ashley Renee. I ordered the dress and when I had pay I noticed a place for a "tip" on the receipt. I thought to myself seriously, I just spent $800 on a dress helping out a local business instead of going to Baton Rouge or New Orleans and they have the audacity to ask for a tip! Needless to say I did not leave a tip. Fast forward a year and my best friend's son is getting married and I suggested to her to go there because they have a wide selection of Jovani dresses which she wanted. She called them and they told her she had to pay a $25 fee for an appointment (which did not go towards the purchase if you purchased a dress) so she paid the fee we went to her appointment, she tried on several dresses of which she loved two. One was in the store and a similar one they did not have in stock but could order. So when she asked if they ran the same in size the salesgirl told her she didn't know. So my friend said well let's get my measurements and we can compare so I can have all the information I need to make a decision about which one I would like to purchase and I can call back and order it tomorrow. She was told she could not be measured that wasn't part of the $25 and they couldn't measure her until she ordered the dress. It was completely absurd and they were totally and completely unwilling to do anything that didn't fall in line with their policy. My friend was so angry that she walked out and did not buy either of the dresses that she loved. It is mind blowing to me that a business would operate this way. If you have to have these types of policies implemented in your business you're doing something very wrong. I strongly urge anyone intending to have a memorable experience for their special event to steer clear from Ashley Renee. These people are worried about one thing, themselves and what they can make off of every customer from the ridiculous appointment fee to the absurd tip! They are utterly clueless about customer service. read more

It came down to two dresses on the clearance rack and even though they were marked down dramatically, they still let me do a payment plan on my dress! The ladies were so sweet and I loved every moment I was there! They followed up with me after my wedding for pictures to share on their social media outlets, and even gave me a percent off for my dress cleaning! read more

I have thought long and hard before leaving this review. I consider myself to be a very reasonable and rational person, so therefore I wanted to take the time I needed to really think about the entire experience that myself and my bridesmaids had here at Ashley Renee. Myself and my two cousins, both bridesmaids, made an appointment and visited on October 9, 2021 to see about picking out a bridal gown for myself and bridesmaid dresses for all of my girls. The staff was all super friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a salutation and smile as soon as we walked in. We were placed with our bridal consultant and offered mimosas. At this point I gave her a rough idea of what I envisioned and she started to pull dresses for me to try on. After trying a few I found one that I really liked. At this point we left to try a few other places. I decided later on that the dress at AR was the one I wanted. We returned that day to make the order/purchase. My girls also picked out the bridesmaid dresses for the party and placed their order as well. Here is where the story heads South... The dress I tried on that day was a size 18. It fit me perfectly from the waist down, with the top half being a little big (I have the photos of myself in the dress as well, front and back). For whatever reason, the bridal consultant decided to order a size SMALLER for me, after clearly seeing that the dress I had on fit me almost perfectly. I had no clue this took place, as she took my measurements and ordered the gown. I was never told, "Hey, you tried on an 18 but we are ordering you a 16" because if so, I would have 100% questioned that. I put my trust in the consultant to order a dress that would fit me (Don't be like me. Please question everything). On February 12, 2022 my dress arrives. I return to try it on and it does not fit me. Two of the consultants managed to zip me up in it, while telling me how beautiful I looked in it, all the while I could barely even walk or breath. I'm still not even sure how they zipped me up in it. Nevertheless, I take it and I bring it to my seamstress. After looking it over for 15 mins he finally states that there is absolutely nothing he can do to fix it. With my wedding in 2.5 weeks, I called the bridal shop completely distraught. I asked them if they still had the dress that I tried on that day because I was going to need it. They did still have the dress and agreed to swap out my brand new one for it. I go to swap the dresses out and then ask what kind of money they were going to return to me for this, or at the very least pay to have the dress cleaned. I was told that they would ask the owner, but it was highly likely that they would return anything to me because they ordered based off of my "measurements". It wasn't until one of my bridesmaids (who by the way, 5 out of 9 of their dresses didn't fit as well, but I'll get to that in a moment..) left a bad review, that someone even tried to call me back. They offered me $100. So I am now the proud owner of a $1650 rack dress, that had a rip, 3 missing buttons, stretched out button loops and was tried on by God knows how many people. And honestly, the rack dress isn't even what bothers me. I'm an easy going girl. I have no qualms at all about wearing a rack/used dress. What bothers me is that I paid $1650 for a rack dress and they now have my brand new one to resell. This is where Customer Service is completely lacking. Hell, I know they aren't in the business to lose money, no one is. But hey, shit happens and you're basically going to now make DOUBLE on a dress, while you toss me $100 bucks... $100 bucks that I only got because I had to ASK for something off! I never should have had to ask. Now to the bridesmaids... Almost half of them have dresses that barely fit them. One girls doesn't even fit her at all. A seamstress shop is working frantically to completely tear it apart and try to rebuild this dress for her so she can walk in my wedding. Three of my girls both tried on 18's of the SAME DRESS that fit them comfortably in the shop and STILL instructed the bridal shop to order them a size larger (this is very common because of size variances and to play it safe. Remember this ladies!). This was also not done and their "18's" arrived and DID NOT FIT. This dress brand is Sorella Vita from Essence of Australia, and honestly I believe the problem here most likely lies with them, although I'm not certain... All I know is that these dresses DID NOT FIT. This is not a prom or a Mardi Gras ball. This is my WEDDING. This is one of the happiest days in someone's life. This is NOT the kind of issues that you should have when entrusting someone to fit you're entire bridal party! If you are selling a product, especially one of such high importance with a long production/order time, You better damn well know your product inside and out and have a better plan of action for when these things occur. Ashley Renee Bridal was the best place I found to shop for my Mother of the Groom dress. They had the largest selection of the plus size I needed with options to be ordered in a rainbow of colors other than the limited beige or gray options offered elsewhere. Service was great! Brittany stayed with me and gave super assistance. It would be well worth the short drive to experience a wonderful bridal experience. read more

I drove from Baton Rouge just to come to this store and it was well worth it. I had been to a lot of stores because I was having trouble finding a gown that could accommodate my bust size. This store was the most beautiful. It had the largest showroom I had seen and it boasts an amazing stage to show off your wedding gown. It's truly the bridal experience every girl dreams of. My associate, Ginger, was so wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and was able to pull dresses that I loved. She was great at helping me squeeze into the ones that were tight and clipping me into the larger ones so I could see exactly what it would look like. She also suggested certain designers/dresses that would accommodate my needs. Everyone was so nice, welcoming and informed. I had a wonderful experience and would very highly recommend this store ! I had some awful experiences at a place in Gonzales & Bridal Boutique in Baton Rouge, but Ashley Renee Bridal is perfection. read more

Had a pleasant experience browsing through the selection at this location. Like other locations, it is appointment only. Clean storefront with lots of space made this place a good location to bring a whole bridal party. They also have a lovely selection of formal wear for other occasions or wedding party members. The catch that kept this store from being more highly rated was it's location. If the address is entered into a phone application or online directions take people to a trailer park. However, the owners are trying to resolve this issue. read more
