I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Roswell Ashley Furniture location after what initially seemed like a smooth purchase. I went into the store to buy a full bedroom set and mattress. The sales associate and mattress specialist were both very kind and helpful, and together they worked out a deal that fit my budget. I paid in full and was told delivery would happen by the end of the week. Shortly after, I received a delivery confirmation and noticed that a piece of furniture was missing from the order summary. I reached out to the store and customer service, and after several calls and texts during my workday, they corrected the order to include the missing item. That's when things went off the rails. I was informed that due to a "system glitch," the pricing had been incorrectly calculated at the time of purchase, and I now owed an additional amount. I was told I could simply pay the difference via a link--despite already paying in full and finalizing the purchase. This is unacceptable. As a customer, I made a good-faith purchase based on the price presented to me in-store. Being asked to pay more after the fact due to an internal error feels like a classic bait-and-switch. On top of that, I spent hours of my workday trying to resolve an issue that was entirely on their side. When I pushed back, I was essentially told my only option was to cancel the order--putting the burden on me instead of the company taking responsibility. I've been a loyal Ashley customer for years, which makes this even more frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded my trust. I would give this place a zero-for communication, customer service and quality of furniture. My 88 year old Mom ordered a mattress set to be delivered May 4-she got the mattress no box springs! They say it will be the next week then next week, meantime no one cares she sleeps on the mattress on the floor. Who sells a set but can only deliver part for 4 weeks? We bought her a cheap box springs off Amazon so she can sleep in her bed till Ashley decides to deliver!!! We will not shop here and we tell everyone about this experience. Read the reviews! Absolute nightmare working with this store. Ordered a bed frame to be delivered and put together, but they were unable to put it together for who knows what reason. They left it sprawled out on my floor in pieces. They said it needed different screws... so 5 days go by before they can get someone out there to fix it. 5 days go by and they show up again, only to fail once again. I still have no where to put my bed and there's pieces everywhere. I bring this to their attention and they can sort nothing out for me whatsoever, not the slightest bit of urgency to fix their countless mistakes. He showed us to the specific recliner we needed and let us relax for a few minutes before checking in with us. He was prompt to help us find the best deals and products for us. They sold and delivered to me a reclining rocker that was not functional. Instead of replacing the rocker, they want to order new parts. Understand that this was purchased as a new product. I do not recommend Ashley going forward and have been a loyal customer for over 30 years. Not only that, but the length of time they take to respond to their customers is not acceptable. The stuff looks ok, but when inspected closer it is really never going to last long. I Sat in quite a few chairs and they were just hard and uncomfortable. The sales people hover too... alway watching... ready to pounce.... I kind of felt like I was a gazelle and the lions were looking at lunch. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Ordered a dining room table and bed frame that was supposed to be delivered on a Thursday between 1-5pm. Get a call at 6:30 saying the delivery isn't coming and needs to be rescheduled for the following day between 9am-1pm. I don't receive any notification on Friday and call customer support at 1:30 for them to tell me the delivery passed my house and left no explanation as to why the delivery never took place. And there's no anticipated delivery date at this point lol. So I contact the store and they call me Friday night saying the delivery will come Saturday between 11am-3pm. My items finally get delivered and they're outside of their packaging covered in dirt and filth. I request my delivery cost be covered for the inconvenience and they direct me to contact customer support who deal with these claims. Good luck trying to get a response from any of these agents who constantly tell you they'll get back to you in "48-72 business hours". It's been a full month since the delivery. You have to call multiple times a week and every representative gives you the same runaround bullshit of "that's out of our scope and we're still waiting on the other department to respond to this issue". They deliver damage goods , and then tell you they can send a truck back to pick it up , but can't send a truck back for a "missed delivery". Our old furniture was already old and didn't fare well in our recent move. It was pretty beat up and shabby looking, so we started looking around for some new furniture and gave several stores a shot. Ashley's was recommended by a few people, so in we went. This location is hidden behind the Chick Fil A near the Galleria. The sales people are not very pushy, at least when compared to other stores we visited. They have a huge furniture collection, which is helpful when you don't really know the style you want and you need to look through it all to see what will satisfy everyone in the family. It can take a while, but it can be somewhat fun too. I'd recommend coming in and looking if you're in the market for new furniture, be it bedroom suites, chairs and couches, etc. read more

I purchased an extended warranty, and my claim was denied due to the fine print on the warranty. A complete bait and switch. Do not buy from here! they do not hold up to their promises. They lie about their return policy on their mattress's. Their customer service is NO customer service. You can not get a hold of the actual store by phone. The number routes you to place in India and they lie as well. The salesperson told me I have 90 days to try out the Tempurpedic mattress and if i don't like it, I can return it. They are now saying that I can't, and that after delivery that's it no returns. Not only that the adjustable base did not work after 3 times I used it ... 3 days after delivery. Their repair service didn't have an appointment till 30 days out. The repair man today was a joke. He couldn't help me and told me the manufacturer had to fix it. I got in touch with them and they said they are not the manufacturer and that ASHLEY does this ALL THE TIME. Been on the lookout for a new sofa and loveseat combo for our family room to replace an ageing leather set. Nabi greeted us when we walked in and kept his distance till we needed him. Once we did, he was very helpful and eager to ensure we had all the info we needed to make an informed decision. We were just looking, but we found just the right system and Nabi went to work to get us the best deal and financing options we wanted. We've had issues in the past with the GBS insurance company they use for extended warranty and was adamant in not wasting further money on that particular service, but Nabi listened to our story and brought in the assistant manager on duty and together they made us feel valued and heard (that's gen Z for they're gonna rework our problem and they gave us a discount on the warranty). Make sure you have a plan for mattress disposal when you buy a new mattress here. I was told to wrap it in plastic for removal, but delivery drivers refused to take bc it was stained. No one told me they wouldn't take if stained. They just said to wrap it in plastic. Now sitting here spending more money to try to dispose of mattress and box springs taking up space in my house. Terrible experience. They charged me to hire a private delivery service which apparently was not needed. The recliner was broken upon delivery. The delivery men wouldn't take it back. They said someone from the store would need to come out to fix. After the men left, I discovered they broke a glass frame. When the technician came out, he determined a replacement part needed to be ordered and told me to call when delivered. When I called the soonest appointment was for 10 days out. Today when the new technician came out, late, he spent 1/2 hour examining the chair and then finally started to work on it. HE said he'd need to reschedule bc there wasn't enough time left. Crazy. For starters I have been a long time Ashley for years. We tend to change certain pieces in our home on a regular basis to keep the look fresh. Ashley often fits the bill as we are not always looking for top quality heirloom pieces. So when we wanted to buy our Grandson his first big boy bedroom suite , we went to Ashley. My how things have changed at Ashley. While we were there we saw a nice recliner for my office and a nice dinette table for our kitchen, so we bought them all, Big mistake . My purchase was in February , it's now April and I'm still waiting for my order to be complete . I was shipped it Tens with missing purses, tables with only 2 legs. A bed with a broken frame and mangled chairs. I have been a big fan up to now , but unfortunately that was then. Now not so much . It was bad enough to get broken pieces , but the follow up service has been horrible. I gave up asking for updates because I new I was just going to get lies and mis direction . If I could give zero stars I would. We went into Ashley on August 1 and purchased a whole bedroom set. A king Bed, a dresser, Mirror, 2 nightstands and a chest. Spent a few thousand on it. Everything seemed great, was an easy process. After they took our money is when everything took a turn for the worst. Mind you when we were purchasing everything we were not told by the sales rep that anything was back ordered or delayed. If we would have known we would have chosen another set. We had set up a delivery date of August 14th. The night before August 14th we were told the night stands and chest were back ordered until the August 23rd with an arrival window 8am-1pm. Our bed and Dresser were delivered just fine on August 14th. We were not too upset about the night stand and chest being delayed only a week. I took August 23rd off of work due to the delivery. To my surprise on August 23rd no one showed up. I called in and was told September 6th it would be delivered. I asked are you sure and was told yes and was given an arrival window. NO ONE SHOWED AGAIN! so i called in I was then told they were back ordered and expected to be in on September 29th. On sept 20th i received an email saying that my nightstands were now expected oct 9th and the Chest Nov 21st. I had called back into corporate and said this was unacceptable and said they would escalate this to the home store. The store manager was supposed to call me over a week ago and i received nothing, again i was supposed to receive a call 2 days ago and nothing. This has been the worst experience Ive ever had with a furniture store, and to think we were going to purchase 2 more bedroom sets to furnish our guest rooms. well that's no longer going to happen. i see that the owner only responds to 5 star reviews on here i am curious if you will respond to this review since i cant seem to get a phone call back nor a resolution to my issue. no one has even offered me some type of compensation for the issues and also me having to miss work for this. We came in here looking for a sofa with a chaise lounge and a tv cabinet/stand. I ended up not purchasing a sofa, but got the tv stand (a large accent cabinet). Our salesman, Mason, was great and VERY helpful. He provided us with good tips but also gave use space and time to talk it over without him being there. I really appreciated that non-clingy style. I bought a chair on 8/21/2023 from the Alpharetta store in GA, which was overpriced to start with, but I liked it, and it was comfortable enough. I was promised it would be delivered on 9/7, which I thought was too long a time. Added to that was the fact that they were charging me almost 100 dollars for delivery! That should have warned me off, but sadly, it didn't! No self-respecting store ever charges for delivery, certainly not for purchases over 50 dollars! A message was sent to me on 9/4 telling me that the chair would be delivered on 9/7 between 3:00-7:00 pm. I waited for it to arrive, and was tracking it the whole time. At 6:45 pm, I called the driver since I felt the chair was really running too late, and he informed me that I was not getting my chair that day because it wasn't at the warehouse! When I asked him why no one informed me, he said that someone at the store wasn't doing his job. I called the store, and they had no knowledge of any of this. The man who I talked to said he would get back to me, and the next day, he said that my chair was damaged, and it was the driver's fault for not letting them know (two different stories). I was very upset, and asked him how I could be compensated for my wasted time, and for the fact that I was planning a gathering at my house based on the fact that I thought my living room would be ready by 9/7. He said that they could offer me 50% off the delivery cost, which I thought was definitely not enough, and I told him so. He asked "corporate" and supposedly was told that this was the best they could do. I am extremely upset about this very poor customer service. I have never had such a horrible experience when purchasing anything, and I have lived in many different places around the world. NEEDING A BETTER AESTHETIC! I recently visited the store looking for furniture. The store is actually looking better stocked these days but they don't seem to have a lot of variety. Everything looked the same, (bland, uninteresting) and when it came to leather pieces, they were very limited. I love the idea of a swivel rocker but the one they had available was absolutely hideous. Despite this, I did spend a good ten minutes enjoying this chair. Why would you take a really nice chair and offer it in the most impractical fabric you have available? Crazy! Had they offered this chair in better other fabric options, I would have purchased two of them. We did find a very cozy and comfortable sectional that would be the perfect piece to float in front of a fireplace. We took pictures and measurements so that we could do additional research we arrived home. Although we could not find this collection on their website, we were able to locate it on another website for $400 less with free shipping. It was identified with the Ashley logo and contained a great deal of information regarding specific measurements of the pieces, weight, fabric and configuration of the pieces. They even had a diagram to help you visualize the pieces in your space and allow you to measure accurately. Well now, this was a game changer and certainly an unexpected surprise. Ashley is growing really fast but I would love to see them focus more on quality and variation of stock first. Hopefully, they will make this a priority in the future. I liked Ashley - with a few buts that helped me navigate what I felt was a better than average experience. First off, if you are someone that needs to deliver outside of the Atlanta area, this store isn't going to help you get your product there. But the website will! So you are good to do your shopping for your product in store, then go to the website and place your order. And in fact, during some times of the year, the website might actually be cheaper anyways. There is no amount of discussion that gets around this - the website is national, the store is only local (as of the time of this writing). Having said that, check the website for reviews! Important step when you are looking. This is a nice feature I like about Ashley is that they have reviews on their in-store products - probably to their own dismay as some of the reviews were not good, but were helpful in getting to the right product for the right price. Which leads to the last thing I like about Ashley, is that they have a pretty good selection of pretty good product. read more

My first time purchasing from Ashley at the North Point location. I was looking for a mattress and adjustable frame during their President's Day sale. The salesman was excellent and suggested I try a tempurpedic mattress. I also told him I was interested in an adjustable frame. He had my lay on one with a massage feature and I was sold. We wrote it up to include an extended warranty on the frame. I received no sales paperwork only a receipt showing what the purchase price was and no extended warranty info. I asked him if it included the adjustable frame I wanted and the extended warranty to which he said yes. My fault for not checking again until the delivery! After setup I realized I had been given a basic adjustable frame by a different manufacturer and was told by the driver not to refuse delivery, that the store would work with me to get the correct frame. I immediately called the store and spoke to one of their customer care agents. She was very nice and told me they would work with me and she was going to escalate my issue. She offered to split the difference and I asked her to please continue to escalate. Today I get a call from her manager telling me the district manager refused to do anything and either I could keep what I have or they would come pick it up. So now two different people telling me two different things. They're pleasant when talking to them, but really not willing to help resolve issues if there's a problem. I spent a lot of money for what I thought I was getting and now a lot of time trying to get a resolution. My advice, don't shop there!!!! The response: "it looks fine...we'll schedule a service technician to fix it." No call From service tech. Then contacted customer service who told me to call the store. Finally reached the store and had to create a case number and the service tech can't come to the house for two weeks. It's a joke that I'm the one jumping through hoops to try to get my brand new furniture fixed. Also, all the furniture delivered was dirty, issues with the leather, and one backrest was attached crooked. Delivery crew didn't care at all. Also, I have a cement sidewalk straight into the house and one of the delivery crew stepped in mud and walked all over the new carpet.
