I was looking for a bed frame and mattress for the guest bedroom and happened to be across the parking lot from this store at the Wegmans. In other words, it was super convenient to shop there. Prior to stopping at Ashley, I had been browsing Marketplace without much luck. My 88-year-old mom was with me and she needs the help of a wheelchair to make it through a store that size. I was grateful when we pulled up and I could see through the front window there was a wheelchair sitting inside near the front entrance. With mom safely seated, we were ready to browse. One of the guys on the sales team met us near the second set of doors and opened the door to let us through with the wheelchair. He was a young guy (like really young, but I feel like everybody looks super young to me as I get older, so I digress). I told him what I needed and right out of the gate he started recommending mattresses that felt way out of my price range. Not "unaffordable" out of my range so much as, "this is for a guest bedroom and I don't want it to be so comfortable my guests decide to move in." I described what I wanted in a bed frame and he showed me a few that met my needs. I wasn't thrilled with the selection of the wooden ones, though I was sure initially what I wanted was wood, but they all looked like MDF and who the heck wants to buy MDF from a furniture store when it's readily available on Amazon. A couple of weeks ago I bought an adjustable bed from my mom from Raymour and Flanigan. Delivery and set-up were free. Not the case with my purchase from Ashley. I'm not sure why that is. I suppose Raymour may have it built into their pricing, but I'm okay with that. Raise the price by $99 and TELL me it's free shipping and setup. Anyway, the experience was okay. I went in knowing what I want. I was an easy sale for that reason. I didn't have time to mess around because I wanted to leave there having purchased a bed. Made our first big furniture purchase from here on 12/29, biggest regret. Went in and found what seemed to be my dream bed frame. Very expensive and way over the amount my boyfriend and I wanted to spend. We even went with a king mattress (also from Ashley) to make sure we would be comfortable. After a month delay it is delivered and the headboard is broken when the delivery men assembled it. Then discovered it is made out of very thin wood. While we waited another month for a replacement we also discovered the mattress does not feel supported at all. Turns out it is not at all! The wooden slats underneath are curved and the supports can't reach the ground. Was told the supports reach when weight is on the bed but the wooden slats are already curved from the weight! When they came to replace the headboard the workers acknowledged the bed frame was in horrible shape. My boyfriend and I have not been able to sleep for almost 3 months now since we roll into eachother every night due to the mattress caving in. On top of that we have now been told they forgot a piece to support the bed when they installed it! We were told the new supports would be delivered a month from Jan 31st but now we were informed they won't arrive until mid March since I called to find another solution. We wouldn't have been told about the new date unless I called! Biggest mistake was not checking the reviews of this store before we purchased. I think I'm like most other people, this place has been here forever, and I have no idea how they're still opened. Last summer I was with my grandson who is 11 years old, and insisted on coming here because when he's with his mother, they occasionally walk through just to window shop (the imagination of an 11-year-old is wonderful) I've always hated this place, customer quality is nothing to speak of, service is poor, they are way over priced, and worst of all they pester you every step of the way while you're in their store I decided to relent and go in with him, we told the person that was at the front door. We were just window shopping,... Didn't make a bit of difference to him, he tailed us all throughout the store all the way to the back. It got to a point it was so uncomfortable I asked the gentleman to please back off, I'm just here with my grandson looking around and you'd probably be better off following someone else, he relented, but I swear to God, it wasn't more than 10 minutes when we overheard him and a manager talking, and the manager said "go follow them in the back" 30 seconds later, the guy started to walk up and said "my manager wants me to follow you"... It upset my grandson, pissed me off, and we stormed out, I strongly believe it's because we were African-American, because there were four other couples in the store, one was 25 feet from us looking at bedding And they picked us to follow. We have purchased from them in the past, recently again in July. The sales process itself was good. The after sales process... HORRIBLE. Not one item delivered on time. Six items purchased, four returned and replaced due to issues. One item they refuse to fix as we brought it home with us rather than have it delivered. We purchased a sofa and love seat set less than 6 months ago. On one of the cushions on the sofa the foam came unglued and is now rolled uncomfortably. You can even feel the large pool of glue through the material and its very uncomfortable. There is no zipper to access the foam and reposition it, or re glue it. We contacted the company to see what could be done about the defect. They wrote back that it was general wear and tear and would not be covered. For what we paid it was a bad value. read more

Go literally ANYWHERE else. Raymour and Flannigan, Ridgehome Furnishings, city mattress. Hell, you may have better luck using Facebook Marketplace or Letgo. I have never had such an awful experience dealing with with any company before. Their customer service is far and away the worst I've ever dealt with and it's not worth the headache you'll have to put up with. Do not waste your time here. Also, most people don't know that a majority of other furniture companies actually get their product from Ashley Furniture. Which means even if you find something you like from Ashley's, you can probably get it from somewhere else anyway. You might be able to get it cheaper too. I bought a coffee table from Ashley's in December. 6 months and 5 damaged coffee tables later I finally got them to approve a return (that was 3 weeks ago though and I still haven't gotten my money back). Last week I went to Raymour and Flannigan and found the same exact coffee table there for over $100 less. I ended up buying a different coffee table because I didn't want to chance another defective one. The one I ended up settling on was also available at both Ashley's and Raymour and Flannigan except it was much cheaper at Raymour and Flannigan. I also received the item in 2 days, unlike Ashley's ridiculous 6 week delivery wait time. For anyone who cares to read the full story I bought a lifttop coffee table in early December 2018 and was told 6 week delivery/pickup. It arrived damaged. The wood was cracked. Customer Service said they can't replace it until they tried to fix it first. I told them it's brand new and I don't want it fixed, I just want a new one. There was nothing to be done anyway since the wood was literally cracked. After multiple phone calls of 40+ minutes they finally agreed to replace it. 6 weeks later I receive the new one, which is also broken. The lift mechanism was stripped out of the frame, which made the lifttop unusable. After a phone call with customer service they said they would order a new lift top and lift mechanism and it would arrive in 3 weeks. Once I received it I was to call back and schedule a time for a tech to come out and repair it. 3 weeks later I received a package in the mail consisting of two 1inch springs. I called customer service asking where the rest was and they told me that it wasn't ordered. So I ordered the rest of the pieces and was told rush/overnight delivery was impossible because the company "doesn't do that". 4 weeks go by and I still haven't received anything. I call customer service and they tell me that the pieces are on back order and I won't get them for another couple months. After a very long and aggravating phone call with Ashley's worthless customer service reps, they finally agreed to just order a new table all together, which I would receive in 6 weeks. Fast forward 6 weeks. It is the day I am expecting a phone to schedule the delivery time. I get a call from Ashley saying that the table arrived to their warehouse damaged and that they will be ordering another one for me. Fast forward another couple of weeks and the SAME thing happened again. They called me and told me it arrived damaged. I said I don't even want it at this point because it shouldn't be that difficult to sell a not broken and working product. Especially one that was $500+. They said the best they could do is give me a credit of 10% which amounted to basically nothing. After another very aggravating conversation I finally was able to get the customer service rep to understand that this entire situation was ridiculous and to give me a full refund and to come pick up the table still in my living room. Our furniture order with Ashley was the most problematic experience we've ever had with a company. Our salesperson input information incorrectly so we weren't notified of a delivery delay. When our furniture was delivered the sofa was the wrong product, the dining set was missing 2 chairs, and the dining server was missing it's shelves. We had to wait over a month for the additional chairs, and it took 2 tries to have the correct pieces for the server to be sent. I will say the people that work the customer service line are very helpful. They were kind and tried their best to correct the issues. When the correct sofa arrived it would not fit up our stairs and they helped us receive a refund for the product. read more

AVOID - literally buy furniture from anywhere else. We purchased a couch first week of September and were told we'd get it by November or December at the latest (including Covid delays). It's going on April and still no couch. Have been called by the store before to schedule delivery only to have them tell us they called by mistake and there was no couch. Today our delivery was finally happening only to find out they've cancelled halfway through the delivery window. Cannot reschedule for a week -- that is if they even have the couch. We went into the store as "new customers" to see what they are telling people for delivery on our couch and they are still saying 6-8 weeks. At a minimum they are engaging in false advertising and misleading sales tactics. Do not spend your money at this place. Not worth the frustration. read more

My husband and I decided to start browsing here for our new living room set because it is the closest furniture store to our home. We were considering a sectional but we were also open to a sofa + loveseat + a chair or two. Selection - this store has a really nice variety of living room furniture. There were a great deal of sofas/loveseats and sectionals at all price points. Staff - if you go, do ask for Amy O! She greeted us and immediately picked up on the fact that we preferred to browse unattended, but she did check in on us every now and then after explaining how the store was laid out. Each time she checked in we'd be looking at a piece and either my husband or me would be voicing a concern ('I love the stitching but our dog might pull it up with her nails' or 'I wish this one came in a lighter color'). Amy listened to our likes/dislikes/wishes about each piece and then offered to show us a sectional that we had completely overlooked. And guess what? It was *exactly* what we were looking for! Pricing - there was a nice variety of price points. The sectional that we ended up buying was a mid-priced one, and it was nice of Amy O to suggest it over more expensive ones because she knew we would find 'something' wrong with those according to the concerns we had voiced earlier about other/similar pieces. Turn-Around Time - Because of Covid, things have slowed down considerably. Amy O was honest and told us that it would (conservatively) be three months or longer before our furniture could be delivered. We were totally fine with this, so imagine our surprise when less than two weeks later the store was calling to set up a delivery day! Delivery - The delivery guys were super nice, 15 minutes earlier than the quoted time, and were respectful of our home/door frames/etc. Quality - We love our sectional (and the matching ottoman)! The fabric is high quality, the cushions are supportive (not too soft and not too stiff), the stitching is straight and reinforced, and the delivery guys assembled it quickly and easily. The dimensions were accurate so it fit into our home easily without any surprises. Warranty - We decided to take advantage of the store's warranty (we have a dog, two cats, and young nieces & nephews who visit often). Even if we don't use it, the store will take that amount and apply it to new furniture for us in the future - bonus! We don't anticipate need new living room furniture any time soon but if we decide to upgrade any other rooms Ashley will be our first stop. Amy, we hope you'll still be there! read more

The prices are fair and the selection is fine, but I find the service at Ashley's to always be poor (and not just at this location either). I'm glad the sales people don't hover all over you like bees at a picnic, but they fall in at the opposite end of the spectrum: useless. It seems their sole purpose is to mean-mug every person that walks in the door, spin around arbitrarily in their spinning chairs, look disinterested in the questions you pose and never know the answer to those questions when you ask them. At least bees would attempt to pollinate you, or make honey or something. In many respects, Ashley's Furniture could do themselves a favor and get rid of their sales people and hire house plants instead: Me: "Does this couch come in a different configuration?" If you work you need to take time off or have someone come to your home during that time. They outsource their delivery. Go to Raymour Flanigan. I will never recommend this company to anybody. I would do just the opposite and WARN THEM to never give this place your money. The quality of their products is crap. The two couches we bought last year have already gone through two set of seat cushions and need another set already. We bought the warranty but can't even use it for these issues. Sitting on our couch everyday is apparently too much for these couches to handle. The seams rip across the length of the whole cushion. Since we can only use the manufacture warranty at some point we will be stuck with a couch that's only a few years old that looks absolutely terrible without an option to get the cushions replaced. They have an example in their store of a chair that has a ton of rips in it from animals and the like, and that was a selling point because the sales rep told me that if I get the warranty those things are all covered. LIES. I tried to get my couch warranted for this exact reason and they tell me they cannot cover it. They want your money and that's it. They don't care about you paying WAY too much for their products and not having quality back it. I should have read the reviews of everyone else complain of these exact things but I guess I made a mistake there. Also all of the replies just saying "please call corporate " are a joke. Corporate does not help. I've spoke with corporate multiple times and they give you the cookie cutter "I do apologize but I can not help with this issue. I can't help you with something you were told by someone else" This company does not care. If you are dumb enough to do business with them, never, ever, ever give them cash or a check. Always use a credit card so you can call the credit card company if they screw up and refuse to make it right. Raymour and Flanigan, is a much nicer store to deal with. I bought something and didn't like it, so I asked for a refund before it was delivered and I got it right away. Avoid this place like it was the plague. Cheap goods made in China. It's a huge furniture store and there's a lot to choose from, but I even with a huge sale I thought it was very overpriced. But what I really didn't like about my experience there was the second I walked in an employee started following me, asking me 3 times about things I was looking at. When I say following, I mean literally following me to all corners of the store. At times he tried to make himself more discreet, other times not. It was obnoxious as I made clear I was there looking with no specific agenda, and pretty uncomfortable. Maybe it's something they do as a store but they need to work on it to know when it pushes customers away. If I could give zero stars I would. Very unsatisfied, ordered " Willowton Panel Headboard" the salesman was amazing, such a gentleman. The delivery crew was great. After they delivered, upon further inspection, I noticed that the side of the top headboard had a panel that was peeling off. I was livid, I started to check every inch of the set. Not only was a panel peeling off, the top of the head board was warped, both legs had giant cracks in it and not to mention, there were holes all over the back of the bottom head board (they aren't holes to put the set together, they are holes from poor handling.) Now let's talk about the customer service department, we got it delivered on Jan 21st, I proceed to call the 23rd to set up a return. I had to email pictures of the damage to get the ball rolling. Mind you, that was a week ago and I haven't heard a peep. I called this morning (Jan 30th) to set up a full refund, I didn't want a return and get new headboard. Who's to say it won't come damaged or get damaged in the future. The woman that I spoke with apologized, I said it wasn't her fault this was just poorly crafted and it got damaged. I request a full refund to which she paused and said that they don't offer refunds. My head almost exploded, on the back of my purchase order that I was given upon buying the headboard there's a section on the back that explains the "REFUND & RETURN POLICY" it says, "All refunds will be issued within 10-14 business days after a refund is requested. All refunds are processed from our corporate accounting office in Olean, NY. All refunds will be issued by the same method of payment as the original transaction." So, I'm waiting on a manager from corporate to once again request a refund. Word to the wise, if you are going to spend the money, buy a headboard that's made out of actual wood, not something that it's going to fall apart before you use it. read more

Terrible experience from the start. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Even Facebook Markeplace or Craigs List. Our sales representative was rude and clearly not knowledgable of the products in the store. We just needed an inexpensive replacement bed and decided - against our better judgement to purchase even with the terrible customer service. BIG MISTAKE! The problems really began to start at check out when the sales rep couldn't figure out how to schedule our delivery at check out. We were provided with a business card that had a scratched out phone number and a new one written over the top to call and schedule delivery. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes we were final able to schedule and received a date for 3 weeks later. Flash forward to the day of delivery. Our scheduled window began at 11am but at 9:30am I received a voice mail that our delivery was cancelled and that I would get another call later that day to schedule a new delivery for Monday (2 days later). Big surprise - a return call never came. I called again on Monday, when the customer service line reopened again, to find out they were not coming on Monday and I could get a delivery date for another 3 weeks away. Clearly I was unhappy and I was able to get a sooner delivery date of the end of the week. Two days prior to delivery I received a call with my window (11am - 1pm). Around 12:00pm on delivery day I received another call saying they wanted to update me and let me know that the delivery would be closer to the end of my time window, around 2pm. Yes you read that correctly - 2pm even though my delivery window technically ended an hour sooner than that. Turns out the delivery people did not show up until AFTER 5:30PM - 4.5 hours late!! But don't worry, it doesn't end there.... The delivery people showed up and did not have the hardware to install the bed. So now we were left with pieces of a bed in the room and hallway with a promise to get a call the next day. You guessed it - NO CALL THE NEXT DAY! I finally called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I did get ahold of one who assured me someone would call me Monday to figure out a solution but just to warn me they most likely would not be able to assemble the bed for me as that was considered a tech visit not a delivery visit and tech visits aren't approved during COVID. Well I felt a little more confident speaking to a manger but then two days go by and no call again. Over the next 4 days I sat on hold for over an hour each day waiting to speak with someone about what to do next and each day someone said they would "personally" call me back tomorrow with a solution. On day 4 I finally demanded a refund. At first they offered me a gift card instead. Ummm NO!! You've got to be crazy to think I would ever shop with you again! Finally, on July 11th they came to pick up the pieces of the bed after now a month of sleeping on the floor and 2 weeks of bed pieces all over my house. It is now July 28th - 17 days later and they still have yet to process my refund. I did call the store about a week ago to discuss where my refund was and the store associate said a manager would call me back the next day - I'm still waiting (insert eye roll here) for that call. They have called me and canceled deliveries three times now! Twice as the product was not yet sent to the distribution center and once because the other item was damaged and they had to send it back! I was told they have no date as they can not tell me when it will be ready. Told I could cancel my order at store or over the phone. Went to store and they told me can only cancel order by calling delivery number! I buy a lot of furniture and never had such an awful experience. While the reviews for this store are frightening, I have to submit by opinion solely based on what this store has to offer and for whom. I thought that Ashley was going to be out of my price range so I just stumbled in to get an idea for what kind of style I liked since they had a lot of rooms put together and organized by style. The woman Judy, who assisted us was so pleasant. I told her my price range and said I could not afford this store. She told me that they had TONS of things in my price range. I was shocked and happily surprised. She told me exactly where to walk in the store and then said she would leave me alone to look at things for myself and she would check on me occasionally. I loved that! I don't need a salesperson following me around from couch to couch. I respected her respecting me! We ventured through the store, they had a vintage section that I loved. I got so many decoration ideas from their displays. I found couches that ranged in price from $400-700, right in my budget. I couldn't believe how many options that had within that range. They almost had TOO many options that I couldn't decide which to choose. I didn't end up making a purchase on that particular day because I had to come home to take measurements. Judy was a GREAT help, not only informative about prices, quality and delivery estimations but also gave me her opinion about what colors would go best with my theme. I appreciated her knowledge. The only reason I am not giving this store five stars is because I haven't ordered anything, therefore unable to adequately judge the quality of their items. Also, it takes 2-4 for an order to come in. That's a long time to wait for a couch or other piece of furniture. I recommend making this your first stop when furniture shopping so that you can place your order right away. Moral of the story, college kids, don't shy away from this place. We ordered a couch 11/3/20 for up to 16 weeks for delivery it's now 3/24/21 and no couch and no communication. When I called into the store they said it could be a few more weeks to months (plural) with zero empathy or remorse. Understand we are 1 year into the pandemic however they have no insight into timelines still or are lying to make sales either way the only compensation for customers is extreme frustration!!!! read more

I've had an excellent overall experience with this location. We've purchased a few items; bedroom sets, couches, kitchen table sets, and most recently a recliner. The floor has a lot of items and honestly the building design makes it beneficial to speak to an associate for precisely what you want. The store categorizes their items so they reflect a style of furniture. For the most of our purchases we qualified for the zero percent interest which works out great for the time frame we intend to pay on the items. The delivery crew we had here was quick and ensured none of our entries were damaged. The self-pick up personnel were prompt and able to assist as appropriate for the piece we bought. The clearance section behind the children's area can sometimes have a steal for an item, so don't forget to look there if you want something quicker as you can pick up the item immediately. read more

Stay away!! We were told ahead of time from many people that typically items aren't delivered on time, but we took a chance...and lost just like everyone said. But they did call to tell us it would be delayed and offered us a $100 discount or a $200 CASH card. Knowing we needed a dining set we took the cash card. Went to use it on a dining set on sale this weekend, and it ends up it's not really a CASH card as you can't use it on sale prices, only full price items. Even One Star is too generous. I have purchased a lot of furniture over the course of time and I have never had such an awful experience as this one with Ashley Home Store. Purchased a dining room set and was told what the expected timeline would be- 12 weeks. Sales crook stated "don't call me to complain if its longer." should have been a RED FLAG. 4 side chairs arrived and were delivered about 10 weeks in...weeks later table arrived...on the day of the "delivery" got call that it was too damaged to deliver...it would take another 12 - 18 weeks. at that point I told them to cancel the order and come get the side chairs. Sales Crook said they can't cancel at the store, that i would have to call customer service and he hung up. Since I didn't have the phone # for customer service I called back. since then it has been a run around trying to get a refund. They keep telling me it takes 10-14 days to "process" the refund. I call and the store sales manager gives me the run around. Now the badly mis-named "customer service" folks are telling me that my refund is being "processed" and will take 7-10 days to hit my card. Odd the day I bought the set it hit my card in full. They tell me that it will be "processed in two parts due to some of it being cancelled and some being returned. They also say it is the bank that causes the delay. called my bank and they say that when the refund is issued it hits my account in real time, no delay on that end. These crooks also want to hang onto my delivery charge, because part of it was delivered...the other two parts of the delivery "are free" BS. I got charged, nothing is "free" If you enjoy being lied to, and swindled, by all means this is your place. If you want to buy and actually receive furniture, GO ANYPLACE ELSE! read more

I bought the 5 year warranty from them. 2 years passed and my couch has a stain. I've been trying to contact the warranty company to get it taken care of and it's been a horrible experience. It's taken a month to get to where we are now and they are ready to send someone to clean and I was told today "if the stain set in because of time frame, then it's not covered" well the time frame there doing not mine. It says to call them with in 30 days and I called with in a few days. The warranty company has been rude on the phone, and we found the furniture we bought cheap. We purchased 2 sectionals, a dining room table and the buffet table and hutch. We will never shop at Ashley again. We suggest not buying there "platinum" warranty" also. It is not what they claim when they sell it. read more

Went in with my wife. Spent hours looking for very specific measurements and found a sectional we liked that fit. We liked it so much we moved it to the top of our list. It was on sale, we were handed a laminated simple sheet that said delivery cost $300 and told that they would cut us a deal and make it free. They agreed to sell the sectional at the sale price, pay full price for the protection plan and get 25% off the ottoman with free delivery. Its important to note, every place we have gone so far has offered free delivery as a standard practice, or free delivery when you spend over 1k. The only places that didn't have free delivery immediately negotiated it in... So I suspect that nobody charges for delivery that that is just use as a margin recovery tool or that it is just used as a bargaining chip so that the company doesn't actually sacrifice anything when they give you free delivery. Value City Raymour and Flanigan Metro Matt firm...all free delivery...anyways, moving on We waited a couple days, talked about it, even called their other location only to be told "delivery was 200(NOT 300 like the fake price sheet we were handed said) but that the delivery is easy to be made free with a purchase of our size...and the day we were calling back, the sale price online, which was the same as in store, went down. We called, and now they wont do this or that, the first price they came up with was actually higher than the other day despite the new sale price. Then they talk about how they can't match online, then they come down to a price thats still just over...we literally had the card out and you walked us trying to work a better deal BOTH TIMES. The first time you lost us over $100.. Its already marked up, it has 3.2*/5* online, and you turned down nearly 2.5k in business(this visit), over $50 the second time. Well, please understand you didnt just loose our living room...you just lost our soon to be furnished basement and bedrooms...twice we walked away feeling like our time had been wasted. We really wanted to do business but they clearly were not interested. All we asked for in the end, was for them to match the online price, get the free delivery that 2 store locations promised, and we'd pay full price for their protection plan...they still said no. I will never set foot inside of an Ashley store again. I will never buy an Ashley product again from any other retailer. I will never send any friends, family or co-workers to this company. I will always tell people about this experience and how fake and gimmicky and disingenuous the entire process felt to me as i look back...especially after the delivery price contradictions between two stores within 15 minutes of each other, the lower price coming from the one further away. read more

I walked in yesterday to look for a couch for me and my fiancé's new apartment. We were greeted by a guy name Don. Though he didn't ask what we were there for or anything. So we continued to go around and look at all the couches . Once we knew what we liked we asked Don if it came in a smaller size for the sectional couch. He said no it doesn't, we asked if there were any other couches similar that does, he said no I don't think so. And the one that might be you already sat on it. That was it, 0 help what so ever. Not very friendly either. As multiple other workers all just stand around talking to each other. I would not recommend this place as there customer service is awful. Off to Raymore & Flannigan where we received MUCH better customer service. read more

I bought a love seat, a couch, and a bed set in November of 2016. 16 months later, my loveseat (electric recliner) no longer declines so it is stuck wide open. I called the store to schedule maintenance and sat on hold for over 10 minutes before getting someone on the phone. They couldn't do anything because it is warranty, so they put me in the queue for a call back. Almost 40 minutes later, I get a call and they check my information to inform me I'm outside the manufacturer warranty and must call platinum ultra. The fact that they don't work directly with the protection plan company they push on you is extremely inconvenient. The number they printed on my warranty page is disconnected (800-347-6108). My chair broke Saturday night, no one is open for a call on Sunday. So here I am Monday, calling all over the place to be told "you have to call platinum ultra. I asked the Ashley warranty rep for the number I' supposed to call, she gives me (800-732-5856) - nowhere to be found on my paperwork. I call platinum, she informs me that a work order is created and I will be contact by (yet another) 3rd party technician company in 2-4 business days. I have a recliner stuck open covering up a portion of my living room (which isn't big to begin with), and the best they can do is tell me they don't employ the technicians so she can expedite the work order but they still have no control over when I'll be called. Ashley pushes a protection plan on people that they, and the protection plan company, have no control over the outcome of your service. It is a completely ridiculous standard and will likely cause me to not shop at Ashley Furniture again. They are already grossly overpriced, but this is an unacceptable business practice in my opinion 3/12/19 Update - The 3rd party warranty company called me back. This exceeded their "2-4 business day" response time, technically, but they scheduled me for next Wednesday 3/20. So they "expedited" the scheduling phone call, but the service is still an unacceptable length of time out. I give 2 stars because their furniture quality is still decent, though the electrical mechanism broke, but they lose 3 for lack of information and terrible turn around. read more

Had to pick something off their in-store kiosk because they had a small selection of king bed frames in store. Sales person was pleasant and helpful. I'm sure he wasn't allowed to inform me that their customer service SUCKS. Got a call from delivery telling me that it would be an additional couple weeks for delivery because they needed to wait for the item to be shipped to them. When I finally got the call for delivery I was told that i would get a tentative day based on when they are in my area. Then I would be told two days before when they would offer their 3 hour window for delivery. Essentially acknowledging that I should take time off of work with only two days notice. When I gave them possible dates they were already booked. Delivery guys were very nice but the item was broken when they got it out of packaging. I can make a pretty sure guess that I won't see the item replaced in a timely manner and will then spend more time fighting with customer service about the fact that I have a job that doesn't want me off with two days notice. read more
