Ashley Furniture Formal Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior of Ashley Furniture Store Manager Dear Ashley Furniture Customer Service, 101 Okatie Center Blvd N Okatie, SC 29909 United States I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unprofessional behavior displayed by one of your store managers at the Ashley Furniture location where I recently had a distressing experience. As a flooring contractor and a loyal customer of Ashley Furniture, I am appalled by the treatment I received from this manager, whose actions have left me feeling deeply disrespected and frustrated. On [date], my car broke down in the parking lot of your store while I was parked in a designated parking spot. As a responsible individual, I immediately began working on my vehicle to resolve the issue. During this time, three individuals approached me and demanded that I vacate the parking spot or risk having my car towed. I politely explained that I was in the process of fixing my car and requested some time to complete the repairs. Despite my reasonable request, the individuals threatened to tow my car by the morning if I did not move it. Determined to resolve the issue, I worked tirelessly throughout the night to fix my vehicle, hoping to clear the parking spot within the given timeframe. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties and was unable to complete the repairs before morning. To my dismay, the manager of the Ashley Furniture store arrived on the scene in the morning and immediately began yelling and screaming at me without giving me a chance to explain my situation. Despite my attempts to communicate that I needed only a few more hours to move my car, he proceeded to escalate the situation by involving law enforcement officers, who forcibly removed me from the parking lot. The manager's aggressive behavior and lack of empathy towards my predicament were utterly unwarranted and unprofessional. His refusal to listen to my side of the story and his hasty decision to involve the authorities have tarnished my perception of Ashley Furniture as a reputable company. I was ultimately forced to push my car out of the parking lot, all the while feeling humiliated and mistreated by the very individuals who should have shown understanding and compassion. I am deeply disappointed by the conduct of this manager and feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not align with the values of customer service and respect that I expect from a company like Ashley Furniture. Horrible Customer Service. I bought a rug from this store in March and I never received the rug. But the worst part was the way I was treated. I called 4 times about my rug and they never knew anything about it. They kept promising that someone would call me back and they never did. On one particular phone call, I was saying how I never received my rug and no one has called me back and the person on the phone stopped talking to me to start telling people around her that it was hailing. So not only was my complaint unimportant to them but the person on the phone also had to be rude to me. I have purchased many things from them in the past and my mom is currently looking for a living room suit. Trust me, the way I have been treated, we will never go back. Received amazing customer service from Debbie, Heather and Amanda. We had an issue with a chair we purchased and they gave us a total refund on a reset in the store. We chose to give the credit to our children and Heather really worked with us making the new furniture ordering and then making it happen to hold it until the new home is completed. We also received awesome customer service from Debbie who helped us select a great mattress which we are now sleeping so well on. Amanda worked hard to help us find the right end tables giving us good suggestions and advice. I wouldn't say the furniture sold here is top of the line, but it is very nice and the customer service is definitely worth a trip to this location. They will work with you to be sure you leave satisfied even when a piece of furniture is returned with a reset. read more

Heather K. was so attentive to our likes and needs, and was able to match us with the perfect couch - thus ending our three month long search. Went in to get furniture for our new house. Went in and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Manager even took time to come over sit and talk with me and my mom while the sales associate was getting everything we decided to buy in order. Great customer service, great staff.
