I'll probably paint some of my furniture sage green, using their chalk paints available in the store. I've already bought paint from them. They are very relaxed, not pressuring you to buy. I've also bought some of their decor. It's definitely a niche boutique yet they are selling those pieces like hotcakes. I'm going to use Iron Orchid Designs on my furniture. I love this store.

The staff was very friendly and helpful but doesn't follow you around or make you feel pressured. The items were so well made and looked beautiful. The unique thing about this store is they almost want you to DIY. They have ideas for crafty people and furniture for people who just want it here and now. They sale paints used in the store and as I said above if you have a piece of your own you'd like painted they will do that as well. My experience at La-Z-Boy has been a huge disappointment. We spent hours in the store picking out a…read moresofa, and when we finally made a choice, we were told the deposit was refundable if we didn't like how it worked in our space after meeting with the design team. The total order was $10,800, and they had me put down $5,000 -- just under 50%. They specifically assured me the order wouldn't be processed until I put down the full 50% and approved the final design. We met with the design team over Zoom, and I made it very clear I needed to review everything with my wife before making a final decision. That Friday, I let the salesperson know we decided not to move forward -- only to be told the order was already processed and couldn't be canceled. Since then, no manager has returned my calls, and for six weeks I heard nothing until we started getting daily delivery texts demanding the balance on a $10,800 order we no longer want. I even spoke to the delivery center and was promised a regional manager would call -- still nothing. La-Z-Boy has completely dropped the ball on customer service, ignored their own promises, and left us stuck with expensive furniture we tried to cancel. I'd advise anyone to think twice before giving them a deposit.

They had some sales going on too and their clearance section is actually pretty decent. I am usually the one in charge of decorating the house and refuse to buy anything full price or outlandishly expensive, so I usually go to the thrift store, Walmart, or make something. Lukejohn avoids calls, doesn't call back, doesn't provide updates and doesn't deliver on promises. I mean, a simple google search on the guy should tell you all that you need to know when two of the first things that pop up are his mugshot and a breach of contract lawsuit. Sad excuse of a "business", so frustrating and really disappointing. The worst part is my parents are the ones dealing with this company. The kitchen and master bath were supposed to be finished by Labor Day 2024, it was then pushed back to thanksgiving 2024 and the kitchen was barely useable then. The master bath was completed may 9th and the kitchen is STILL not done. 90% of the cost of the cabinets was paid in October in preparation for delivery and they still don't have the finished cabinets. A year ago they were so excited about their new house and since then, they have been constantly let down by this company and it has turned their excitement of starting a new chapter of life in a new home into a complete nightmare. Finally, my mom asked me to call Lukejohn as a last resort after trying to get ahold of him for days/ weeks. And guess what...he answered the phone! When I told him who I was he rudely told me he was out of town and busy and someone would be reaching out that day. They then gave them a July 1st date, which has since turned into August 4th. incredibly pathetic.
