If I could give zero stars I would. The delivery operations and customer service of this company is pitiful. My wife and I ordered our new couch on Memorial Day only to receive an incorrect delivery a month later. Half of our sectional was incorrect. After another month of waiting for the correct pieces, I received multiple texts and phone calls confirming delivery last Saturday...sure enough, nobody showed and when we called the warehouse they said there was no scheduled delivery. I sit here typing on my half of a couch waiting for them now to pick up this nightmare so I can go to American Furniture or Kane's. This place has literally wasted 3 days of my life waiting on them to get their act together. Save yourselves months of time and frustration and go elsewhere! read more

I rushed after work to the Ashley on US-19 to take advantage of the new sale and this sofa was on sale for $1699. I told the salesperson that i had an Ashely Credit card and has purchased a room of furniture from them just a few months ago and asked for a better price. the salesperson now asked for the manager who offered me the advertised sales price claiming he was losing money by doing that. My wife and i just looked at him and walked right out of the store. the only thing worse than a poor product is a bad liar of a salesperson. shame on you! read more

Price was great, but I'm not sure dealing with the less-than-stellar customer service was worth it. First delivery attempt sent two guys who thought SQUEEZING my couch through a doorway (without any covering for protection) was appropriate - damaged it and had to refuse delivery. yet, they tried to get me to sign off that I had received the order anyway and acted irritated when I wouldn't sign something that said I had accepted it in good condition - I had to order them off my property. Second attempt the delivery was scheduled between 3-7. They didn't arrive until after 8. Blamed it on the rain - but no one contacted me when they knew HOURS earlier that they would be late. The rain wasn't a surprise - I knew 3 days before it was going to rain all day - they should be able to plan accordingly. I called at 7 and they had no clue where the driver was nor if he'd be there in 5 minutes or 3 hours. How is that possible in 2015? They said he'd call - at 7:30 still no call. I called back. They still couldn't find him. crazy. Had it not been a door buster awesome deal I would have asked them to cancel the sale. Bought a desk floor model and told them I'd be back with a larger car and if it didn't fit, I owned a box truck. They took it upon themselves in the next 2 hours to TAKE IT APART. Probably so I wouldn't notice that there were PARTS MISSING. Manager told me it was a "courtesy" (as if he was doing me a favor) and they couldn't possibly store it for 2 hours for me on the floor. What? It was super small and they could have put it in 100 different places for 2 hours. Acted like I was crazy for even questioning it and was unwilling to do anything for me if I ran into problems reassembling it and was rude. Desk would not go back together correctly with the screws provided and all the parts were not there, which I would have noticed if it had been in one piece when I loaded it - as it was when I PAID FOR IT. I had to spend quite a bit of time at Home Depot finding parts to make it work so the thing wouldn't collapse, stab me with screws that were sticking out, or so the glass wouldn't fall off and break. If you find an awesome deal, get it, but lower your expectations of service (you get what you pay for), and if you're paying a decent price, forget it and go elsewhere. read more

Go Somewhere else!!! My wife and I purchased a Television stand with built-in fireplace for a little over $900 on Sunday. We asked the salesperson if it was in stock as we would like it delivered ASAP as we also ordered a new 50" LED television for the stand. The salesperson told us indeed it was in stock and we can drive to Brandon to pick it up or have it delivered on Friday for an additional $80. We were pleased with less than a week delivery time so we opted to have it delivered. We received a call now on Tuesday that it was OUT OF STOCK and it will be another week until delivered. This is unacceptable and not was the salesperson told us and reason for us choosing the unit. The woman who called was unapologetic and couldn't care less, offered no incentive. I told we would like to cancel the order and she said we can't take cancellations over the phone and you have to go into the store. So I now have to drive into the store to get a credit and waste more time. This is a poor and unprofessional way to do business and you will be out of business soon treating customers like this....stay away from Ashley Furniture...plenty of other places to shop. read more

If there was such thing as giving 0 stars I absolutely would!!! My parents never do anything for themselves and I finally convinced them what an investment in their health it would be if they bought a new mattress. They heard that Ashley Homestore had a wide selection especially with Tempur-Pedic brand mattresses. They picked out one of the top of the line cool touch Tempur-Pedic King size mattresses along with additional features including foam pillows, and an entire BEDFRAME SET. They spent thousands upon thousands of dollars and when the delivery came the following week they got about half of the products they were suppose to. The information had been entered wrong the day of purchase by the employee working at the store. Instead of taking ownership of the situation, there was no apology, no sense of urgency about making calls, and no projected date of when the problem could be fixed. My parents are currently laying on an old mattress in their living room. When my dad wanted to return purchases in order to buy elsewhere, a lady said he had already signed and there was nothing they could do. They were treated primarily as a number and when you spend that kind of money, the expectation should be more than we can't seem to give you any answers. I do not care how great their sales might be. The headache is just not worth it after dealing with delivery problems. There are hundreds of other furniture stores out there! Keep our economy alive by supporting other businesses that care about you, your health, and your hard earned money at the end of the day! read more

I bought most of my furniture from Ashley when I first moved. Tina was great and helped me out when I had some issues. I like their furniture, look for their Smart Buys and sales and you can get some good deals. Everyone at the store was polite and helpful. Thank you also to Troy for his help. Oh what a nightmare, It has been approximatly 3 months and still no furniture. The 1st delivery was not what the first sales person told me she said the sofas had electric controls so I told the delivery men to take it back, I went back to the store no controls available on these sofas I wanted to cancel the order however the manager and sales person #2 showed me another sofa set the manager made me a good deal on the new set and I took pictures of new salesperson sitting on the sofa set then told him I wanted that exact sofa set with with the same colors. The delivery date came and I was told delivery would be between 12:45pm and 5:45 pm approximately 4:55 pm I get a call from the delivery driver that he was having trouble with his truck but would be here in a few minutes, they finally arrived it seems that the trouble with the truck was part of the front bumper came loose fell to the ground and came back up through the diesel fuel tank spilling diesel onto the shoulder of the road in front of my house I took pictures it seems the order was incorrect again. I told them to take everything back to warehouse. I went back to store salesperson #2 had written the order incorrectly at this time I told them about the spill. I am still waiting for furniture and still waiting for spill to be cleaned up. Too tired to continue to write. ;(. very poor service! read more

Worst experience ever, furniture are cheap quality, I spent over $6000 on 12/2018 on this store I financed for 72 months with a monthly payment of $86 interest free, at first, one of the end table was damaged so I called and reported the issue but took me a good couple hours to get through the customer service line, when finally someone answered I reported the issue so two weeks later the technician arrived the guy was trying to fix the drawer of a wood table with his hammer and finally braking the table, so he ordered a new drawer and finally the piece arrived so we didn't bother to call for a technician, my husband put it together. So a month passed and I received my first bill my surprise was that my payment was $235 min due and the promotion deal will end on 12/28/2020. I was so upset called the store the guy that answered couldn't find copy of the invoices on the system so I decided to go in person so I when back to the store and brought with me all the copies of the invoices showing 72 months promotional deal, they lady from the store stating the bank put the wrong code, then she called synchronic bank and spoke with the account manager they said it will take 2 cycles to adjust the bill and I will get the $86 bill with the 72 months promotional deal, so two months passed by and still showing the $235 with one year to pay back all the amount due, called synchronic bank spoke with an Indian guy that I couldn't understand and he couldn't explain the issue with my account so I decided to call back the next day spoke with a different person from (USA) he said that we will need to show proof and to send copy by mail of the invoices showing the 72 months promotional deal, so today 03/07/19 I'm mailing all this invoices to the Orlando address and hopefully I will be able to have my account straight it out. Totally disappointed with the situation and the way that both companies are so incompetents, unprofessional and pointing fingers to each other. I will never buy anything again from this store or this company. read more

We ordered three bedrooms worth of furniture, a sofa and an entertainment center for a great price from Ashley. The deliveries were backed up from weather conditions and holidays. We are a business though that counts on the furniture being delivered on time for our client's projects. Dennis, the store manager, made it right and took care of us so that we met the client's needs. We will be doing business with Ashley in the future due to Dennis' efforts knowing he did the right thing for us, the client. Thank you! read more

We purchased a $1,200.00 White leather sleeper sofa. We never looked at the reviews for this store in advance, which we should have and won't make that mistake again. Two guys showed up to deliver the sofa and immediately ask us to inspect damage as it came off the truck. There were pin holes in the leather just below the cushions. They were barely noticeable but they were holes in a brand new sofa. The men asked us if we still wanted the sofa delivered and someone from the store would be out to fix the damage. We agreed. The men carried the sofa up the stairs to the second floor loft and everybody stayed out of the way. It was heavy and the two guys were given a tip, drink and snack on the way out. What they failed to mention is that they ripped a 6 inch gash in the side of the sofa when they hit something. We did not know it and my elderly parents who bought the sofa did not inspect the sofa after they said everything was setup and ok. Days latter after no one contacted us to come and fix the holes, we inspected that damage and found the other very serious damage. The store said they were notified too late, over 72 hours and there was nothing they were going to do. The drivers never told them anything about any damage and we were SOL! It did not matter to them that their driver's lied and failed to deliver undamaged furniture. The company was very unapologetic and made it perfectly clear they did not care about their customers or future sales. read more

I purchased a recliner chair 2 years ago but since we are snowbirds it has actually been used one year only. It was Durablend material (imitation leather). Across the top back it has several cracks and along the front of the arm it is coming apart. looks like splits. I am so glad I only kept the chair and returned the other 2 chairs and sofa (it was too big for condo and since we are on the fifth floor they would not carry it up the stairs). Very unhappy with the chair. The warranty only covers one year! read more

Let me start by saying this was absolutely without a doubt the WORST buying experience of my life. Started off by being insulted by the salesman and told he could not help us and have a nice day, shuffling us out of the store. Came back 3 days later to address the situation with the manager and he was very helpful in making things right. Then we took delivery, what a disaster. The delivery men were polite but very careless. We bought wicker patio furniture and they used razor knives to open the boxes slicing through the wicker and ruining our furniture. They left trash all over my deck. They also put the furniture directly on concrete deck to assemble and in the process of spinning and tossing furniture around damaged all the corners. Once again I contacted the manager who assured me that I would receive new furniture and I would hear from someone within the hour to schedule the delivery. 5 days later I still had not heard from anyone so I had to go to the store and find out what the deal was??? In the process of working with sales manager to establish exchange and new delivery I was personally insulted again by one of the female associates behind the desk. There are many more aspects of this debacle, I could write a small book about this one particular experience. Bottom line I was insulted by two different employees and told no more often than I care to remember. I have never been associated with a company who told me more what they could not do than what they could do. And after all that I have to wait a month for the new furniture, I would rather do without furniture than go back to Ashley. read more

I am very disappointed with Ashley furniture. I lived at West Covina and near by the furniture store as a neighbor. My mom whom recent bought a secretary desk and chair, but we still not satisfied the desk because the quality is really low and poor. I am very frustrated to keep calling them to replace a new desk for me. However, the desk has been replaced for few times cuz when we got the desk first time, the cabinet panel is cracks as damage, and the 2nd time they deliver and replace the other one to my house, but I can't open the top draw until I hurt my right hand. I made a phone called to the customer service just 30 minutes ago around 3:20pm on 12/31/2014, the customer representative whose attitudes was really bad and rude. The lady just hung up my phone w/ no patience, and she didn't even have a good attitude to listen my requested. All I want to do it's replace a new secretary desk again, but she refused my requested. I dont deserve this trouble if I spent $451 with this desk. Anyways I don't recommend Ashly furniture store at West Covina location to anyone if you need to replace your furnitures and get a new one in the future. read more

I purchased a bed headboard, footboard and frame. The purchase was no problem. The delivery was a different story. The window for delivery was 10am - 2pm. At 2:15, dispatch called saying they were 30 mins behind. At 4:30, 2 1/2 hours later, they finally arrived. They proceeded to put together the bed, all 3 of them. Very disrespectful that they did not put on shoe booties - After the set up, i inspected the bed and they took pictures of it themselves. After they left, I inspected it closer. There were "nicks" on the top of the headboard and it seemed to have been attempted to be covered up with black marker. There was a hole drilled on the front of the headboard - seems they put the screws in the front instead of the back. I called the customer care line and she was very pleasant and scheduled a re-delivery (thats the only reason for the 2 stars). On the next delivery, I took apart the bed and had it waiting by the front door and told them to just drop the new one off and I will put it together myself. I would assume these deliverymen put together many beds, but, this seemed like the first one they ever did. The screws for the new delivery were even different than the screws they used for the first install. I would never have them represent my company. This was my first experience with Ashley and not impressed. read more
