Went to Ashley's furniture store here in Jonesboro, AR to buy a new sectional we found one we liked paid almost 4K for it & had to wait a little over a month for them to deliver it. They brought part of it this afternoon we asked the delivery drivers where the rest of it was at & was told it was on back order & to contact the Ashley store here. The delivery drivers left quick & didn't stick around for us to inspect it before they left & after looking it over I see why they didn't. It has stains on the back on 3 pieces & the bottom of it has what looks like waves in the material. The part of the sectional they brought was new or supposed to be new. We went straight to the Ashley store told them what happened & showed them the pictures & told them what we were told & come to find out the two guys who delivered it are liars. I don't know what happended to Ashley's Furniture but they used to have some really nice stuff that lasted but it doesn't seem that way anymore. read more

If I could give this store a negative 5 star review, I would. The sales people are pushy. And the bed with adjustable base broke one week after getting it. A week after that, the motor for the knee section also broke and fell off the frame. We jumped through every hoop- sent all the emails and did everything right and they refused to fix or replace the adjustable base. and don't even think about using the acceptance now company! They lie straight up! They were asked repeatedly to come and get the bed and base and flat refuse. lousy customer service all the way around. If you do buy from there, make sure your purchase doesn't have any moving parts that could break. They do not honor their warranty. read more

Bought furniture at the store advertised as clearance due to discontinued. Turns out the furniture is used. As the furniture is being loaded we noticed tons of dog hair on the furniture. The staff refused to further discount the furniture or help in any way. read more

We bought a couch in August.....on clearance. When we got it home, no one sat on it. On September 14, we discovered that the main board on the back that holds up the cushion when you sit down was broken and missing. I tried calling for 3 hours and no one would answer...we bought a clearance couch NOT a broken couch. Now we are out $700 for a couch that you can't sit on. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. Do you want a huge monstrous furniture store full of sofas, recliners, tables, and home furnishings that you can buy and take home? This isn't it. In a nutshell, this is how it works... You look, you pay, you wait 3 weeks for them to deliver (very expensively and required) to your door. If you don't pay for the outrageous delivery and pick it up yourself, you forfeit the warranty. Pretty good scam they got going. They also get to use your money while you sit on nothing, interest free. The sales girl that took my order was very nice and knowledgeable but somewhat pushy on making the sale (this is actually what sales is supposed to do, right?) It is a nice store to visit and it gave me the opportunity to sit on something I might like instead of blindly ordering online. I finally got my order, and it took only 2 times to get it right. The first order was wrong and I refused delivery. The drivers said they will inform the company and I'll get a call. No call. I waited a week and nothing. So I call and find that nobody knows anything about it. The manager said he would look into it and call me right back. No call. After a few days, I call him and we finally get to hash out the correct configuration of the order. He said he would try to expedite the order and call me back with a delivery date. No call. I call them, yet again, and find out that it will be the full waiting time of 3 weeks for the replacement order. That makes 6 weeks (a month and a half!) waiting for my delivery. The manager said he could waive the delivery charges to make up for some of it and after the delivery, I called to inquire about that. He would look into it and call me right back. No call. The delivery guys backed into my driveway half running over a large planter. I called Customer Service (which is a big joke) and they gave me an email address to write to. I sent an email complete with pictures. No response. So I called the store manager again and explained the situation and sent him the pictures with description. No call, no response. Today, I called and happen to get my original sales girl (Katie) and I think I have hope of some resolution. Maybe SHE should be the manager. There is a big boatload of unhappy dissatisfied customers out there that will never ever buy from Ashley again. I wish I had done my research beforehand. Check out reviews and do some research before committing your money. Corporate will not help, corporate doesn't care. How they can claim to be number one, I'll never know. Fun fact: I have AT LEAST 10-15 phone calls into this. I didn't know it was going to be this much work to spend my money! I love my sofa and I really hope it doesn't break because of poor craftsmanship. Yes, I actually can say something positive here. What people want and need is a furniture store that actually sells furniture that you can load in the pickup and take home. The big big stores (like I found in San Diego) can do that. You find something you like, they punch it in and see if they have it in stock which most of the time, they do. You get to take it home and actually use it. read more

I would give the service at the store 5 stars but the overall service is terrible. We ordered furniture in September and still have not received all of it. We were told the furniture comes from China or Canada so it us hard to track when it will be here. We keep receiving delivery dates and then they are changed. When a couch was delivered one light did not work so I was told a ticket was submitted for repair however when I spoke to a manager today I learned the ticket was never submitted. I will never do business with or reccomend any Ashley store again. read more

Had a decent experience at Ashley's picking out our furniture in store. Their furniture is HIGH $$$ and the quality is not worth it at all. Considering everything goes well with delivery, our Ashley's experience would've received 3 stars. BUT unfortunately we have been dealing with Ashley's Customer Care team since June in order to replace parts that did not arrive/were damaged during delivery. On multiple occasions I have called and they have zero documentation of why I have called. To make an incredibly long and frustrating story short, I am still trying to receive parts for a drawer 4 months later. Hopefully this time they got it right, but I do not have my hopes up. read more

I bought a sectional 6 months ago and bought the warranty. My couch was expensive and it is pilling. I called the store and they said to call the manufacturer. When it was 3 months old it was pilling. They sent covers. 3 more months, more pilling. I went into the store and the sales person said it was the manufacturers problem . I went in three more times excuse after excuse. I really can't believe these people. I'm still waiting for someone to get back to me. I am thinking about calling the better business bureau. They have not backed their product and they are not interested in repeat business. Even the store manager was not helpful. Buyer beware!!!!! If I get a credit for the junk they sold me I will rewrite this review. If i don't get my money back my post will be seen all over the world. I can speak only for the Jonesboro location beside Kohl's, but the employees here are phenomenal! (Billy and Beux were the ones to help us.) As soon as you walk in, they shake your hand and ask your name. These people want to make a personal connection with you. There is so much to choose from at the store as it is packed full of selections. Unfortunately, I didn't find what I was looking for in the price range i needed. Spent over $1000 with this store. One of my items was damaged at the warehouse on the day of delivery and they had to reschedule the delivery date for one of the items 10 days later. I was then forced to leave work early so I could meet the delivery at a time that was convenient for them. They made their mess my problem. When I tried to contact my local store where I purchased the items I had a salesman dodge my calls. It was the complete disregard for the customer once they had the money that made me feel a need to write my first review ever. It was complete disrespect and zero attempt to correct their problem. My fiancé and I shopped here for new living room furniture. The lady who helped us was nice but needs more sales experience/training. Although we ended up purchasing the set we choose the process was horrible and I felt as if we were treated like we couldn't "afford to be shopping there". Salesperson was good but delivery info was not entered correctly furniture was delivered to wrong address and the delivery drivers were rude refused to deliver to correct address as it was company's fault left without saying a word and took furniture back to Memphis warehouse had to reschedule waited a week the customer service person said I had 15 minutes to have someone there for delivery or they would take furniture back to Memphis again. Someone was there waiting they never came and I called and was told no one was there for delivery. Horrible way to treat customers!!!! read more

Simply put...they will lie to your face. We bought a mattress and adjustable base. We were unsure about the memory foam mattress and our salesman (GREG) told us not to worry. If we didn't like it we'll give you your money back. Not that they would exchange it..."we will give you your money back" The mattress is too firm and sleeps hot. Went back to the store (an hour away) and they said that the base was not returnable and that they would only exchange the mattress. Found out later that they will only exchange it once and it will cost $70. Their return policy (or lack of one) is not posted and they do NOT notify you of it. Bottom line...dishonest. Seeing that there are over 1700 negative reviews says it all I paid cash for my three piece furniture Told the salesman that I was having floors installed and asked if they would hold it until my floors were done. He said they would and can hold the furniture in their warehouse for up to a year. Floors are done and called to set appointment for furniture to be delivered. They set Dec. 23 for delivery. On the 22nd they called and said they are only able to deliver my love seat and would deliver the rest on the 28th. No problem right? They call and say they are only going to deliver my sofa on the 28th and estimated January 28th as the "Possible" delivery date of my recliner. I bought the furniture in November. 7. I call the store in Jonesboro and told them I was not happy and requested to talk to their manager. The guy took my number and said the manager would call me as soon as he got off the phone with another customer. It's had been over 24hrs and I still haven't received that call. I guess this customer who paid cash is not as important as other customers. I called a customer service number and the lady told me if I wanted a refund on the recliner that hasn't been manufactured yet, there would be a restocking fee. Tell me, how they can charge a restocking fee on something that hasn't even been built yet. Worst experience ever! Do not go there, but if you do, definitely don't let AJ help you! After buying around $3,000 in furniture, the accent chair completely broke after 7.5 months. The board on bottom broke making it impossible to sit in the chair without almost falling through. We went back to the store to buy bedroom furniture and spend another $3,000. One of our requests was for our chair to be fixed. AJ, the salesman, said our chair would be repaired or replaced. That was part of the deal and the reason we bought more furniture from there. We took the broken chair to the store and were told it could not be repaired so we would be getting a new chair. After months, we found out our chair had been discontinued. We picked another chair and AJ "ordered" it for us. 8 months (total time) later, we still have no chair! We don't even have the old, broken chair. AJ lied to us on multiple occasions. There was always a "reason" the chair wasn't in. If he couldn't have compensated us for the chair, we should have known that from the beginning. Unfortunately, we sent friends to buy from him before this happened and he lied to them about prices on furniture. So, they just went to a competing store and bought the Ashley furniture from them. The management is even worse for their lack of help. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

My family and I visited Ashely Homestore with the intentions of purchasing new living room furniture. Upon entering the store, my daughter and I immediately gravitated toward a beautiful living room set in the entrance, while my husband held the door open for the couple coming in after us. As soon as the couple walked past, I then noticed another beautiful living room set to the left of the door. At this time, a sale lady began to approach us and we THOUGHT we were going to get some assistance, HA. Instead, she walked right past (less than 2 feet away, no eye contact or hello) us as if we were not there to catch up with the couple who came in behind us. Well, well...as she approached that couple another sale person greeted them, so she then turned around to catch up to us to introduce herself and ask if she could assist us with anything. Of course, I was very annoyed at that point and was mumbling under my breath "didn't you just walk past us like we weren't here?", as my husband lightly squeezed my arm. I proceeded to let her assist us with the full knowledge that I was not going to purchase anything from the store, which was disgraceful because I only purchase Ashley Furniture (usually from Memphis). As I continued to show disinterest in everything she showed us, she became persistent to make a sale. Needless to say, we left the store and went to Hanks Fine Furniture where we spent $4000 on three beautiful pieces. We were greeted before we took more than three steps into the store and our sale's person (Zac) went above and beyond to make us happy. I honestly don't know why we were initially ignored at Ashely Homestore, but I will say that customer service means everything to me! We were nicely dressed and very polite (which our attire shouldn't matter). I will say that there were an age and race difference between the couple who came in behind us and ourselves, but I hope that didn't play a part in her actions. I will never return again but hope that her actions are not direct reflections of the sale people in general. I wish I could give a lower score. I purchased 2 bedroom suites for 2 children we had just got custody of. 1 set for a girl, twin sleigh bed, mattress, box springs, chest and dresser with a mirror. 2 a full sized bed with storage, mattress, chest and dresser. Paid close to $5000 for all of it. I specifically asked if the furniture was made with press board or MDF and was assured that it wasn't. When the furniture arrived, many, many days later, the girl's set was obviously MDF, we could tell from the back of the furniture which we couldn't see in the store. Now this is our fault, buyer beware. We should have been better about due diligence. However; this furniture is also coming apart and one of the drawers is cracked. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get someone here to even look at it. The full size bed wasn't put together correctly and the storage drawers don't open and close right, they hang up. All that needs to be done with this is the platform taken off and the storage side of the bed redone. Now I'm not going to do it, I paid them to deliver and assemble the furniture so I wouldn't be responsible for doing this. After yelling at the customer service people, our salesman, and the store manager for hours, I finally got them to agree that they need to cover this, oh, I forgot to mention we have only had the stuff for 4 days when I noticed the issues, and I paid for an extended warranty. Finally, someone called last week and said that I would have a delivery yesterday and a tech would be here today. Parts that aren't needed for anything that is wrong were delivered yesterday, I thought it would be the drawer that is cracked, no, it's drawer rails. Nothing that is needed for anything. Today, no one shows, I call, customer service is ruder than any I've ever talked to, the store manager has to get back involved and then I'm told, no one is coming, no one was ever going to come today. No one will admit to calling and telling me that someone would be here today, I was informed that I should have called yesterday when the parts arrived and set up a time for...get this...a week to 10 days from now to have a tech come out and look to see if those parts they sent will fix the issues I'm having. SERIOUSLY, This is just awful, I will never buy Ashley Furniture again, nowhere and no one could pay me to ever go in that store again for anything, except to get a partial refund which I truly believe they should offer for the horrible customer service, lying salesman, and the stuff literally coming apart. read more
