Terrible experience! I bought a new dinning room and they brought me a broken table and the chairs were scratched. They took back the table and came back with another one, our surprise was that they brought the dinning table in the floor of the truck without a box and without screws to ensamble it. I asked the delivery guys to take back the table because I would not accept a dinning table in that conditions. I asked for a refund a week ago and since then I've been calling customer service and they say they don't have an answer for us. Purchased a queen size mattress on 8/6/2019 Was scheduled for delivery on 8/16/19, 9:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. At 11:33 a.m. but the driver never left a message. As we are all aware Scam calls are obnoxious, with no voice message, I had no idea it was the driver. Ashley uses a sub-contractor for deliveries. The driver knew that in accordance in with 'their' company policy they only had to stay for a period of 15 minutes. My next call was from their dispatcher 20+ minutes after the initial call. Oh, the left a message, a day late and a dollar short, the driver was gone. Had the driver done his job correctly and left a message, I would have had ample time to determine the issue and correct it. I was not given that opportunity. I even attempted to call the driver 4+ times to no avail. Not only did he not pick-up but the voicemail was the voicemail on the phone was not even activated. I contacted the dispatcher and requested to speak with a supervisor. After a 10+ minute wait, the dispatcher returned to inform me 'the supervisor was to busy!' What??? I then Contacted the Posner Park, Davenport store. I spoke to a young lady, Julisa, for approx. 6 mins. I originally requested to cancel the order. After our discussion she 'claimed' she would work o getting the delivery scheduled for Monday, August 19, 2019. She would contact me o Saturday, August 17, 2019 and 'supposedly' started work at 1 p.m. I waited 'all' day...at 4 p.m. I started to search out the competition. By 5 p.m. I was able to secure a sale from their competition. I contacted Julisa and told her to cancel the order. At that point I was informed I had to go to the store for the process, I was unsure to believe it. At this point their 'Customer Service' was on fire for me. Got to the store and guess who was at the desk, Julisa, she inquired as to how she could help me. I told her I wanted to cancel my order The she inqured as to my reason (one of the managers was standing right there) when I told Julisa 'Horrible Customer Service' (the manager didn't even flinch), Julisa instantly realized who I was. She attempted an apology, which consisted of nothing but excuses and 'I was very busy and by myself'! In 48 hours I never saw one ounce of 'Customer Service'. I worked in the service industry for many years before be serving our country. Apparently, the CEO, Mr. Todd Wanek, and Founder Ronald Wanek, now make their money of off the backs of others and do not have their finger on the pulse of the American public or 'Good Customer Service'. Every American Company should understand and be able to recognize what 'Customer Service' is. So, Mr. Todd/Ronald Wanek, retrain your employee's and find new delivery sub-contractors. read more

Do yourself a favor. If you are greeted by a short bald guy called Jose, just walk away and talk to someone else. This guy tries to be way too friendly, and laughs at all your jokes, even if you didnt make one. Clearly trying too hard to make a sale. The entire time he was taking care of me and my wife, he was distracted, either with helping other customers or trying to take those possible sales away from other sales reps. He messed up our order after we paid and went to get a table from the floor, he realized he had charged me for a different one. Had to pay $200 extra for the difference. A month later, the rest of our order gets delievered, and even then it was wrong. After a week of trying to reach customer service, we end up going back to the store and explaining how we had asked for 5" box springs and ended up getting 9". They pulled out my receipt and there it was, among the other items we had purchased, the 9". My wife was livid when the customer rep told her there was nothing they could do, and I was even more annoyed when I remembered how Jose went over our order recap rather quick just asking us to sign paper after paper in a rush, as if to get rid of us and jump on the next customer. In the end, we spent over $500+ since he screwed us with the wrong table, unnecessarily paid extra on the wrong box springs and an extra $300 ($100 cheaper) on a new set of box springs from Mattress Firm. On July 25, 2021 I went to Ashley Homestore in Kissimmee, FL and purchased 19 items These items were originally scheduled for delivery on Thursday, July 29, 2021. My husband received a call on Wednesday July 28, 2021 to confirm delivery of 15 of the 19 items we purchased which is what our receipt has for the delivery date. On July 29, 2021 the delivery people arrived but inform us that we would only be receiving 5 items 2 Full size mattresses, 1 twin mattress, 1 chest and 1 nightstand. Nothing else. When delivery people informed us what we were receiving we immediately got on the phone to customer service to find out where the rest of our delivery was. My husband was on hold for 30 minutes it sounded like someone was picking up but instead the call was disconnected. My husband immediately hit redial to try to get them on the line. In the meantime I contacted our salesperson to see if she could find out what was going on with our order. They tried to check at the store but were unable to find out what was going on. They said they needed to talk to the delivery people so they can find out what happened but that wouldn't be until later that night and they would call me tomorrow and let me know what was going on. Friday July 30, 2021 I didn't hear anything so at 11:43am I reached out to my salesperson again. She said she would check but she was off that day. I told her if she sent me the store number I would call them directly which I did. The young lady I spoke to said she had spoken to the delivery people and that several people didn't receive the correct order she said she contacted the warehouse and they assured her someone would be getting in touch with me right away to let me know what was going on. I received no updates from the warehouse Friday or Saturday. Sunday afternoon after church since we had not heard anything from the "warehouse" we decided to go to the store and speak to a manager. They tried to find out what was going on. They lady working at the desk could see that the furniture was there but was unable to schedule a delivery because of some code(555) that was blocking her. She had to send an email to the "warehouse" to get them to remove the code so she could schedule the delivery. It was late on Sunday and they were ready to close she said she would check into it on Monday and let me know what happened. Again, she got in touch with the "warehouse" who assured her they would reach out to us to reschedule, again no one called Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday no call. Now It is Thursday August 5, 2021 I decide since I had not received a call yet I would call them again. I am put on hold for 32 mins I thought someone was answering the phone only to be disconnected. I called back and was on hold for another 20 min and someone answered by this time I am really upset. I start out by telling the representative that I had been on hold for 50 minutes and I was not happy. I preceded to tell her that someone was supposed to call me back and let me know when my furniture was going to be delivered. I think I told her what happened previously with the order. I went and I got my receipts hoping that would make it easier to find my order. We were finally able to find my order the customer service rep had a very poor attitude. She said to me that the foundations were coming and could be delivered the next week. I thought she meant only the foundations so I said what about the rest of my items I am supposed to have 10 items. She explained that the foundations wouldn't arrive at the "warehouse" until and then they would bring the whole order together. She said that all the items could be delivered next week we just needed to schedule it. I said ok and we scheduled it for Aug 10. So, you would think great delivery scheduled items arriving Aug. 10. No, the story continues so I'm thinking all set delivery August 10. Sunday evening August 8, I happened to be going through my email and in my junk mail I see an email from Ashley Homestore saying they had rescheduled my delivery for August 17, because they were unable to confirm my appointment. What!!!! Apparently they had tried to call to confirm our appointment while we were in church and we didn't answer the phone because we were in church and we don't answer our phones in church. Here is my issue first why are you calling me to confirm an appointment on Sunday morning. Second why did you reschedule my appointment which had already been rescheduled because of your error. I was there for the delivery that was supposed to come on the July 29 it was you that did not deliver as scheduled. No one on that customer service line is able to help you. We have been helped by Abel every time we come in, and we now seek him out to help us, including our most recent purchase a week ago. He always remembers us, is a joy to work with, and we always leave happy. We first met him when we were shopping around before our new home was finished last year. He let us know about upcoming sales and what dates would be best to come back and shop in coordination with the date our house would be completed. We came back for the 4th of July sale and ended up buying all our new furniture through them. We just returned about a year later, this time for the Labor Day Sale, to finish furnishing our second floor. We hoped Abel would be there, and sure enough he was right at the front when we walked in. Once again, a fantastic shopping experience. We always get a ton of compliments on our furniture when friends or family come over. We always highly recommend them, but the furniture speaks for itself. In fact, some friends of ours who recently bought a house also decided to purchase all their furniture through Ashley. Delivery has always been on time, and the drivers have always been professional and curteous. It always amazes us how quick and efficient they are at getting everything put together. Another terrible experience at our expense. We paid $200 for premium delivery only to discover they destroyed half our furniture during assembly. Screws over-tightened so hard they busted through the wood on our chairs and the back boards were not screwed squarely into the wood, causing splits in the wood and a loose flimsy backboard on a $1000 dining server. I could done it 10x better myself. Customer service is a joke, they will never come back to change these items. I can only hope synchrony bank will pursue a chargeback. We have refurnished 80% of our house in the last 12 months using 5 different companies. We popped into Ashley looking for one more piece to finish the bedroom. Jose greeted us cheerfully when we arrived. Jose allowed us time to look and stayed nearby to answer our questions. We found what we wanted very quickly and Jose answered the questions that we had and arranged for both 0% financing along with a convenient delivery. The delivery team showed up as scheduled. In fact the delivery guys called from their previous stop to give us adequate time to be prepared. They set up the new furniture quickly and left our place as clean as when they arrived. read more

UPDATE I purchased this table at the end of January. Five months passed and they kept sending tables with defects every single time. Even I requested that I need my table unpacked and come with a box. They still send me already assembled ones and each one has this or that kind of problems. I wondered if it is because the warehouse wanted to get rid of those damaged inventories. I don't have anything sitting in my home and I have an email receipt that the delivery guy picked up the one sitting in my home and I never accept any table after that. But the warehouse is saying that they need to pick up the table first. With the fact that I send the copy of receipt to one of store employees three weeks ago, the store and warehouse still haven't figured out. This is being ridiculous that they don't even track the delivery and pick up. It has been five months, it is still unsolved. Good job Ashely home furniture. Kudos to you... This is what we received from Ashley: a coffee table with numerous scratches, uneven paint, even patches. When we contacted the customer service they refuse to admit it is a defect and refuse to return or exchange unless the technician checked. It has been 5 days and has not heard back from the customer service in regards to the technician appointment date. Ashley is taking advantage of customer's trust with defects, if you did not check throughly at the time of delivery, you stuck with defects. This is fraud, and this is unacceptable! Was lied by salesman Miguel Gomez at the time of purchase about them moving the old furniture out to the outside so the garbage will pick it up. When they just came to do a delivery was told that was told wrong about this and is my responsibility to move the furniture. I ended rejected the delivery because of this. The delivery people were also rude. When I called the store to tell them about this was told that was correct, they don't move the furniture. Also that if I don't go in person to sign a cancelation form I will be charged in full for the purchase. This is nonsense. I don't have the furniture and should not have to go in person to get a refund. Ashley Furniture has become a joke and nothing like it was when I have dealt with them more than once. I bought furniture here about 3 or 4 years ago. The sales person was friendly and helpful. The bedroom and living room sets I purchased seem to be of good quality. I also purchased the extended care plan which came in handy twice so far. First time I chipped a piece of wood off of my foot board and the second time the mechanism on one of my drawers broke not allowing me to close it all the way. Called the number and had someone show up and fix the issue both times. Easy! I went in the store again a couple of days ago to have a look. I wasn't hounded but the sales people were there if I needed them. They seemed friendly and willing to help. I liked a few pieces and when I'm ready, I'll be returning for more furniture. read more

The guy that worked with me was amazing and very helpful and promised that my furniture would be ready by my move in date. Fast forward to 2 days prior to my furniture being delivered I get a phone call confiming delivery for 1 week after I move in, I questioned her about it and she seemed non chalant about the whole ordeal. Due to me having no furniture, i have to find somewhere to stay while also paying rent for my apartment. Tried to contact them multiple times and it is impossible to get in contact with anyone on the phone. So then the night before my furniture is delivered I was told one item is not in and it will have to be delivered at another time. No courtesy call or email ever that there is a delay. Purchased a recliner and was told that it would be delivered the following Sunday. After receiving a text to verify the delivery time and date by replying "yes", on Sunday we rearranged the living room to make room for the recliner. They called us on Sunday and left a message regarding the delivery. We were told that the verification had to be by phone call, not by text. Well, I guess they should not have sent a text asking for verification by replying "yes". When we called them back, we were told that it was going to be another week before they could schedule another delivery. It was at that point that I told them they could keep their recliner and to refund my bank account for the price of the recliner. Worst customer service EVER. I have never experienced anything like this. I ordered 4 items and 3 came damaged. Items to replace damaged items came damaged (box was even open upon delivery so someone had to know or they just gave me someone else's return)! Between not being able reach someone at the store (or customer care - on hold for hours), multiple store visits, being told that the GM quit, I still have a damaged piece with no resolution. The big run-around. The only way you get to speak with someone is if you go back to the store - we have made at least 4 trips and they are 35 minutes away. No one at this store cares or tries to help. They just shake their heads. I now have to speak with my credit card company; contact Ashley corporate, etc. Is this real life? In March of 2019, I spent about 2400 hundred dollars on a 3 piece sectional and a 5-year protection plan. In that short amount of time, my furniture is already losing stuffing at the seams, making loud creaking noises, and the otemen has completely broken down. To make things worse the protection plan has been impossible to use due to bad customer service from GBS enterprises and also a poor user website that won't accept any of my pictures even though they are the correct file type and the right size. I have also lost connection with GBS on the phone with no callback and no number that I could use in case our call drops. I hope this can be resolved quickly because I have already wasted enough time trying to get ahold and submit claims that lead nowhere. read more

We went in with low expectations, but Hector Rivera changed our entire experience within minutes of us explaining our situation. Hector made sure we were completely informed of all the options available to us which helped us make an informed decision. My salesperson Eric was phenomenal! He was very knowledgable and made me very comfortable with the huge purchase I was making. He thoughtfully explained the value of the protection plan and went through all of the details of my purchase methodically. Went in person the lady who took care of me said she would be working the day I went...turns out she really wasnt!!! If you had asked me about this place back in August, I would have told you great things about the living room I purchased here three years ago. But that all changed on Labor Day when I came in to purchase a dining room. Everything went great at the sale, we bought a beautiful 5 piece set for a good deal. But upon delivery the table was damaged. Customer service didn't seem bothered by this, they wanted to send a technician out to inspect the damage. We refused and asked for a new table, why keep something damaged that you had paid to receive new? Table 2 came and that was damaged as well, long gouge marks and paint coming up as though someone had tried to repair it earlier. Well against my better judgement I signed up to receive a third table. This came damaged as well. I really can't say I'm picky but gouges, dents, scratches and varnish issues are unacceptable when purchasing a brand new table. So after refusing the third delivery, I made a trip to the store where I dealt with the most unpleasant customer service manager, Abraham. His idea of compensation was a $50 gift card! I hadn't even received my item yet and he was trying to give me store credit! What a joke! He never even apologized for the issues. I then spoke to Traci, the office manager, who did apologize. She offered the delivery fee waived and a very small refund for the table. I accepted because it seemed fair at the time. She also promised that table 4 would be personally inspected by the warehouse manager prior to delivery. More than a month passed since the purchase of this set and the last table was delivered. It was damaged. A scratch in the shape of an X was laid on top along with a varnish stain that was a different color than the table. So much for the inspection! I have officially given up. I am now pursuing a refund. Three years ago I would have told everyone to come here, now I stress that you stay away. The last delivery man was kind and told us to avoid Badcock as well since they share the same warehouse. It's rough when even the delivery men know their delivering a subpar product and then tell you to shop at Kane's instead. read more

Worst experience ever. Had sleeper that broke, and my sister sleeper who was also bought at Ashley's broke. Needles to say their furniture is always breaking, so if you are buying anything make sure to buy the warranty because it will break. Any how I had the furniture replaced through the warranty. They where suppose to pick it up the broken furniture on the original date of replacement deliver and didn't. Now I have to take another day off of work so these people can go pick up their broken furniture if not I was threaten that they would send me to collections.
