Ashley Furn unable to assemble beds due to missing parts. My kids had no bed to sleep on for over 2 weeks.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture after spending approximately $8,000 furnishing our home. Before purchasing, we made it very clear that our house was undergoing remodeling and that we would need Ashley to hold the furniture for several weeks before delivery. Both the salesperson and the store manager assured us multiple times that this would not be a problem and told us to "take the time you need." About five weeks later, we called to schedule delivery and that's when the nightmare started. On the initial delivery: The bed rails/hardware were missing, so the delivery team could not assemble the beds. Two dressers were also missing from the order. Unfortunately, we had already disposed of our old furniture to make room for the new items, especially since Ashley does not offer haul-away services. As a result, our children were forced to sleep on the floor for nearly two weeks because Ashley failed to deliver the necessary parts to assemble the beds. When the driver finally returned two weeks later, he initially refused to assemble the beds because he claimed nobody informed him assembly was required. We eventually convinced him to complete the setup, but he clearly was unhappy about it. Even after that: One dresser was still missing. We later discovered the dresser had been discontinued entirely. Ashley then offered us a $150 credit "for the inconvenience," but when we attempted to cancel the missing item and obtain a refund, they tried deducting that same $150 credit from the refund amount owed to us. To make matters worse, customer service was terrible throughout the process. When I called regarding the refund amount, the representative hung up on me after refusing to properly research the amount we had paid. I called back and repeatedly requested a manager, but instead was placed on hold for over 20 minutes--twice--only to be routed back to the same representative. It honestly felt like a deliberate tactic to avoid accountability and discourage customers from escalating issues. Our salesperson completely disappeared after the sale was completed and was nowhere to be found when problems started happening. For a company that markets itself as a major furniture retailer, this level of disorganization, lack of communication, and poor customer service is unacceptable. We spent thousands of dollars and were left dealing with missing furniture, incomplete deliveries, sleeping arrangements for our children, and endless frustration. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with Ashley Furniture to think twice.

This is litterally a Meat Market for Sales People! Within seconds of walking in, Summer ran to us to claim us as her potential commission. We asked her to leave us alone but she stalked us everywhere we went. We went to the second level...she stalked us there and then she stood right by the escalator waiting for us to go down. We escaped by taking the stairwell. We will never go there again. The culture they breed is horrific. It's a race between salespeople to hit their "commitments"...with no emphasis on customer satisfaction as you can see from these reviews.

If you want some other options other than Ikea, which is across the way, it's a good idea to stop here. This store is huge. Two floors are really jam-packed with options for your living room, dining room, and bedroom. There were also large scale patio furniture sets too. People do it in real life, have a high/low ($$$) mix and match, like, for example, with clothes, makeup, groceries, etc. We were primarily looking at couches for the living room. I thought that the "best seller" sofas were good, there were a couple of them, under $700. If you want the sleeper option, though, the price goes up around $300. There were color options too, on the sofas. Stringbean said it was "like Bob's but fancier." I would say it is on par with Walker Furniture. I spotted a grey storage ottoman for $199.99. Samsung TV's for under $600. Also, there are financing options, if you want to go that route, which is a few dollars more. There were a lot of sales people on the floor. We were just browsing.

What a beautiful store. We've been waiting to check out this huge store for a while and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, though we were asked quite a few times if we needed help. I understand commission jobs but you got to let the customers shop more. Especially in a world where most people are use to online purchases now, sometime we just want to shop by ourselves for a bit. The selection was massive and there is something for everyone. The value seemed pretty good, especially if you take advantage of their credit opportunities. We will be back!!!

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to check out some new furniture and was impressed. The place is massive with two floors and a ton of options in every style. Staff was easy to find and helpful without being pushy, which I appreciated. They even offer complimentary drinks from a bar cart (beer, wine, soft drinks) which was a nice touch. Overall a solid experience, and I found most of what I needed. Worth a visit if you're furnishing or just browsing.

    New Couch

Our experience was one of the best we've had ever! The sales associate who helped us was so respectful. His name is Ali, he knew his couches and what each one offered. We dragged him across the store and ended up going back to the first couch he showed us. Ali worked on the pricing with us that best fit our budget. Ali listened to us, even built a report with us and was truly amazing. We mentioned wanting a mattress and without a second thought asked if we were comfortable to go look at the mattress selections. We met Mike the Tempur-Pedic master. He asked us some simple questions about how we sleep, pain we may have in our body, snoring the whole thing and found us our perfect bed. Highly recommend working with Ali and Mike!

IKEA used to be a go-to destination - busy, well-organized, and genuinely fun to browse. Lately,…read morethough, it feels like a shadow of its former self. The showroom feels noticeably empty, both in terms of foot traffic and staff presence. Though the upstairs display walk through areas look decent and recently rearranged/changed, it still feels empty. Where there used to be employees readily available on the floor, you're lucky to spot a few in certain areas. If you're coming in to return or exchange an item, you may casually stand around for a bit until staff comes from the back to tend to that area. Displays of merchandise feel like an afterthought compared to how carefully curated things once were i.e.: a cart full of items vs them being displayed and organized. The biggest disappointment? The cafe downstairs.. I've visited a few times recently and it's been closed or non-operational each time with kiosks showing an error screen or "CLOSED". It used to be a highlight of the whole trip - I'd always look forward to grabbing a little meatball sundae on the way and making an afternoon of it. Instead, I now find myself in a long long line waiting for one of four self-checkout stations to open up.. (the previously staffed registers are no longer a thing and other self-checkout lines are blocked off)..only to look over and see the cafe kiosk dark and unattended. It really takes the joy out of the visit. That said, there are still some redeeming qualities. The as-is section remains a solid find for deals, and apparently you can now shop it online - a nice touch. The space also has free WiFi, so if you're looking for a low-key study spot and the restaurant upstairs happens to be open, it could work for that. Overall, it feels like IKEA is operating with reduced resources, and it shows. I don't follow there business much so I'm not sure if they're struggling but hoping things turn around not only for the customers but for the staff too!

I'm talking about "Threads of Tyranny" (or whatever they call themselves). First off, getting in was harder than getting a toddler to eat their vegetables. I swear, they had a velvet rope, a bouncer who looked like he wrestled bears in his spare time, and a questionnaire that asked for my blood type, social security number, and the thread count of my dreams. Apparently, only "industry owners" are worthy of their hallowed halls. I'm pretty sure my grandma, who sews better than most fashion designers, wouldn't have made the cut. Once I finally breached the inner sanctum, I was greeted by prices so high, they could make a billionaire weep. I saw a scrap of lace that was priced like it was woven from unicorn hair and spun by angels. I'm pretty sure I could buy a small island for the cost of their "sale" bin. And the staff? Oh, the staff. They looked like they were auditioning for a remake of "The Stepford Wives," but instead of being robots, they were just...snobby. Asking for help was like pulling teeth from a grumpy badger. I inquired about the difference between two types of cotton, and they looked at me like I'd just asked them to explain quantum physics in Klingon. Honestly, I'm surprised this place hasn't been swallowed by a black hole of pretentiousness. I give them a solid two years, tops, before they're replaced by a discount mattress store or a laser tag arena. Mark my words. If you want fabric that costs more than your rent and service that makes you want to scream into a pillow, "Threads of Tyranny" is your place. If you value your sanity and your wallet, run.
