This is the worse place to ever buy furniture. Ben messed up on my whole order. They came and took the bed frame and they are still charging me. I called to many time and was told someone will call me back in 72 hours and no one no one has returned my call. Today I called there payment plan and the guy was supposed to call me back and nothing. I have tried to talk to management and ya that never happens. Ben rushes you and then he messed up on my order and I even called him back because he over charged me when he said he was giving me money off because the online prices were lower and I told him that the printed receipt said F and asked him it meant full he said nope both were twin bed frames. I would never recommend this place ever. All I want is to pay this off and be done. I am calling the better business bureau Monday this should never happen to anyone else. I am so upset this has been going on for two months and no one can clear this up. I have talk to Alex , Mary, Hanna Chris, and so many more that has not solved this problem. I want to start by saying my review has nothing to do with the sales associate Daniel. He was extremely helpful and patient with us throughout the whole process. My frustration is with the company itself. I purchased over $6k worth of furniture on December 7th. I asked multiple times if the furniture would arrive prior to Christmas. I was guaranteed that EVERYTHING would be delivered prior to Christmas. Our initial delivery was on December 16th. 2 days before the delivery date we get a call that our delivery was pushed back because some items were unavailable. We then get told our order would be delivered on December 20th. Yet again two days before the delivery we received a call that our order was postponed. They sent a new delivery date for the 27th. On the 27th (while the driver was on his way to our house) we revived a call 40 minutes before the delivery that they weren't delivering all the items because they didn't know when some would be available. We declined the delivery because we knew we wouldn't be able to return anything if we accepted it. It is now one month since we purchased our furniture and haven't received a single update on when everything will be delivered. read more

I was scrambling to find a dresser for my new place and stumbled across Ashley's while visiting another furniture store next door! I had a bad experience another store nearby, so Ashley's came to save the day! My dad and I worked with Zahra (sales associate) to find a dresser that fit my room's style. She advised me to pick a Beachwood/wood design dresser that matched my room theme. I enjoyed the quality of the drawers and how they slid out smoothly. They also had a sale during the weekend we bought it; I ended up purchasing a five-drawer chest, a nightstand, and set up/delivery. I recommend the setup/delivery because they built it SUPER FAST! read more

The furniture quality is great - heavy and top notch. I've bought from there several times. What I don't like is the sales tactics to add on warranty, especially for older people that don't fully understand. My mom was told for whatever reason that she can add it, then have it removed within 30 days of delivery and get a full refund. I'm guessing that helps their commission but not sure. Long story short, she forgot, and now Ashely's customer service told us to call Reguard because they're not responding to the refund request they submitted on her behalf. They milked her for $600. Ashely is no longer a source for us. Updated 2/3/25. I contacted the warranty provider directly. They have no record of Ashely filing a claim. So regardless of where the problem is, Ashley failed to follow-up on the problem until I called them to check on the status (then was subsequently told to call them). I've submitted a new claim from the warranty provider side - let's see where that goes. read more

Furniture 3.5/5, you pay for what you get. Customer service (in store and online) 0/5. My advice, record everything that these ppl say verbally (from the salesperson personal anecdotes to the delivery man). It will change thr minute you have a claim. And when in doubt, DO NOT accept the delivery. Here is the longer version. Like many people, I am learning the hard way of the dishonest selling tactics of Ashley's and their total lack of accountability. I bought a sectional recliner sofa 2 months before moving in with assurance from the saleswoman that if one section did not fit, I could return it. On delivery day, it was obvious that the recliner was too big and I asked the deliveryman to take one section back. He told me that he could NOT take it back but that I had 42 hrs ( he probably meant 72h) to contact customer services and they would schedule a pick up to take it back. He even claimed that was to make sure ppl were happy with their purchase (yes I have a contract but this is a store rep and the same argument the saleswoman gave me. Plus, I wasn't in a position to take it apart and put it back in his truck myself). I showed up at the store the next day and the manager told me he himself had returned a piece of furniture and opened a case number for me..all these ppl were so accommodating in person! Over the phone and via email, however, it is a different story. Mind you, these are the ppl that can actually process your refund. Well the first person would not let me speak and after our call was cut, he was bold enough to call back then hang up on me, the second person kept reciting their policy before giving me a "you have an opened case so bye for now" and the third responding to the open case via email kept it short - it's in your house and "we are not taking it back". My problem is - there should not be two party lines in person vs remote, and if refusing delivery is indeed acceptable, no delivery man should be allowed to even speak of alternative to the customer or claim that they cannot take anything back. Had they said, you need to decline the entire delivery, I would have. It's just too big!! Now, I like my recliner and removing only one sectional would make it perfect. So all I can do for now is complain publicly and fight for them to be accountable and make things right, even though customer care and satisfaction is clearly the least of their concern. read more

We applied for a credit card when we purchased quite a few pieces of furniture from this store. Long story short, we saved upwards of $1000 by doing that. Sales person who assisted us during our transaction was very helpful in making it happen. He was very patient with all the questions Mrs. had for him. We spent a few Hour at this store going over options, customizing our furniture, setting delivery dates, applying for said credit card, etc. All in all, we left happy, and after we took delivery of our items, we were very satisfied. Delivery was timely, and assembly was super quick. 2 man crew assembled 2 king beds, a dining table, 6 chairs in under 15 minute. Impressive. The service here is horrible. I purchased a love seat and sofa recliners and added the piece to be able to also make it a sectional. When I purchased them a manager told me I could do a price match guarantee if I find them cheaper in another store. So I found a furniture store that sells Ashley products and let me tell you, at Ashley's they hike the price over 200%. I went to the store and the manager had to call me back. They said that since the furniture was delivered they can no longer price match when the manager that day told me I had 30 days from purchase. This is the worst place to buy furniture. I only went because of the 60mo. Finance deal. If I had all the cash I'd support small businesses instead of buying at Ashley. They scam you and over charge. My husband and I had a huge feat when we set out to the nearest Ashley HomeStore. We are purchasing a new house and needed to furnish 4 bedrooms, a dining area, a loft and a tv room. We were hoping to check off most things on our list at Ashley's after searching online to do preliminary style and cost comparisons between Ashleys and the other big box furniture stores. We were not expecting this to be a one stop shop but that's what we got! From the moment we entered the store I could tell it was going to be a pleasant experience. We were swiftly greeted by a gentleman that by the end of our two day visit would be dubbed "Uncle Milad" by my two sons -- lol! We spent several hours on Day 1 journeying through the entire store with an extremely determined Milad, to hand select the pieces that would bring my Modern Farmhouse vision for our new home come together. It was a bit exhausting to say the least since I'm a perfectionist but Milad did it all with grace and was very encouraging along the way - he helped capture my exact vision! Due to system errors we had to return the next day which worked out because we were feeling fresh enough to add several more items to help complete the perfect look. I was not expecting to get some of my checklist items here, like the 3 mattresses, but Milad helped us realize that mattresses are serious matters and even though we always expected to buy a standard mattress, my husband and I deserved to sleep on a Tempur-pedic mattress and he helped fit this major upgrade in and still keep us close to our budget. All in all I am so thrilled that Milad and our family connected by fate for this journey because it made this process so much more enjoyable! Ashley Long Beach on Carson is a miserable place for customer service. They do not want to remedy their errors. They are like used car salespeople that are only interested in selling. When there is an issue they do not want to have anything to do with you. Instead they want to get back in line to nab the next victim. I don't care what you say you are going to do. Do NOT buy the additional protection plan! Or anything from this company as a matter of fact! Called the protection plan company to file a claim, but I was not able to! A Salesman promise and sell you something that cannot be used! Extremely upset with the salesman there! Sold me a protection plan that cannot be used because the protection says that broken handles are not covered! When I was told EVERYTHING was covered by the salesman! Even water stains! Never buying from Ashley again! I will be filling a report with the BBB! Called the store to see if they would be able to replace my handles. Worst customer service experience ever. Anthony the floor manager is extremely rude and couldn't care less about the customer. Johnny the sales rep, who's now in Hawthorne, is incompetent as well, as he placed our order incorrectly. Think the store cared? Nope. We also had ordered something which we cancelled well in advance of delivery. It was never cancelled, and a refund wasn't issued until we called back several times about the incident. The refund still hasn't been made. During delivery, I was also accused of a racial slur which I never made, and they decided to take back the furniture and not deliver. Avoid this store at all costs. This store needs to really train their customers services representatives sitting behind the desk. I purchased just a sofa and a rug. The sales rep Patty was really helpful and patient with us no complaints there. Now let's go into the issues of the incompetent customer services representative Justin. Rug: The only issue we had with the rug was when we order the rug she informed us that we would have to have it shipped by local Carrier so ups/fedex etc. which was fine. She told us that once our purchase went through we would receive a tracking number to be able to see when it going to be delivered which is typically a standard practice. Did that happen.. no so once I called Ashley's to see where my rug was I was informed by Justin that they is no way to track the rug... excuse me? There no way to confirm if my rug was delivered from a local carrier how does that make any sense. There should always be a tracking #. If there isn't how can they confirm that it was delivered l. What if was stolen off my steps but I'm blaming them that it wasn't delivered?! How do they know it was delivered but I'm lying that it wasn't?!? When I explained that to Justin he said the their system rug is either in route or delivered. They couldn't even provide me what carrier had the rug. He said I could call the carrier company and ask them to track it?!? How???? I have no tracking number nor a carrier company. I understand that I might have gotten agitated at this point in our call so he decided to transfer me to his supervisor... did he inform me that he was transferring me no he just transfer the call then all of a sudden I was speaking to someone else. This supervisor did not introduce himself he just started talking. Which is so unprofessional. She then went the extra mile when my bank froze my card as I tried to pay, staying 90 minutes after closing as I tried to get someone on the phone to fix the issue. TLDR: ALL SALES ARE FINAL!! The sales people there are nice to you but I think they are a bunch of crooks. I went there several times looking to purchase a mattress and frame because I was unsure if I liked it or not.. I asked specially if I could return the things if I didn't like it. I thought they said yes but now I'm not sure if they used those exact word. I had asked several sales people this exact question and they gave me the same impression so I pulled the trigger on making the purchase. First day I received it, my wife and I didn't like it. When I call to ask for a refund, the first things they say to me is all sales are final. In the half an hour I was there asking the sales people all kinds of questions, including the return policy, not once did they say all sales are final. When you call, they immediate say it. That's why I think they are a bunch of crooks. We got sold an item by giving us a false impressions that it could be returned. They knew how to side step the question. Avoid at all cost. After using them for years and have probably spent well over 15k with them this was the last straw. Previous stuff would never really last but had a synchrony card where I can pay over time so it was just convenient but this was the last straw. Bought a bed for my kid and salesman added $200 box spring that this bed didn't need. Have gone over a month trying to get it returned to no success. Have talked to multiple people and managers and nothing. Always just giving me the run around. Lesson learned just taking my business elsewhere. Long story short, I'm highly irritated. The staff tells you what they feel you need to hear to get a sale. I saw a bed frame online and went in the store to buy it. I asked if it would be an online order. Becuase weird things happen with online orders. They said they have it in stock, just not on display. So I ordered it alongside a mattress and bunkie board. They said everything would be delivered at one time, so I got the setup and delivery. It was an online order. Missing half the bed frame because they thought it was smart to have it in multiple boxes. They tell me that I can expect it next month. I can't cancel because they say it has a PO#, and therefore, it's on the way. Highly dissatisfied and will never use this damnable place again. So it's been five years since I bought my bedroom set. My headboard is wood With a leather insert. Only it's not leather I don't know what it is but it's razor thin and It just flakes off. The headboard isn't real wood it seems to be some synthetic material because there's a white substance underneath it. I also bought a foot bench. I take very good care of my furniture I spent a lot of money for it nearly $3000 and now I have to reupholster the headboard and the bench, very poor quality. And I also bought a fireplace the trim cracked but that was taken care of with The warranty because it happened within the first year. The heater went out but that was out of warranty. So ask before you bye what the material is. Also try to negotiate more warranty time otherwise don't play their product because it's really cheap it won't last read more
