Very disappointed with the person(F) who assisted me with purchasing a mattress. 1.) I asked her if the mattress was on sale for Memorial Day and she said the tags were changed to reflect the sale prices. When I looked online a week later, the regular price was what I paid, not a sale price. 2.) I wanted a firm mattress and made sure that F understood what I was looking for. My daughter was with me and she had purchased a mattress from the Ashley store where she lived and told me to look for the same one in this store. F said it was unavailable in her store and that my daughter's mattress was foam so it would not be as firm as the mattress in the show room. .....The mattress was delivered rolled up in a box= it was a foam mattress. 3.) Trying to get a hold of someone from the store is difficult. (You will be eventually transferred to a customer service center, so at least you can talk to someone, eventually. Thumbs up for that at least.) 4.) Getting this issued resolved by the department who is supposed to handle this did not help. When a claim was first initiated, they told me it would take at least 72 hours for someone to contact me, nope, I had to call again a week later. The second c/s agent looked into it and also said someone would contact me in 72 hours. Again, nothing after another week. Anyways, this was purchased on the 26 of May and today is June 13. Here are some suggestions that may help you that I wish I had done: 1.) Make sure you get the seller's contact information so you can get a hold of them instead of getting passed around. 2.) Don't get pressured into writing a review until you get your item(s) in your home and inspect it. (They led me to sit at a table to pay for the transaction and then immediately plopped a QR code linking to review their store.) 3.) Don't sign for anything upon delivery, if you have any doubts, call ASAP, while the delivery guys are there. Pros: Well, I managed to call and speak with (P) at the store. He said I would be getting a $10 refund. He was nice as well as the the girls I spoke with at the c/s department and the 2 delivery guys. As for the department who was supposed to call me, they never did. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a foam mattress I didn't want that I overpaid for. ( I could have bought a mattress at Costco for $50 less.) I'm not going to say I will never buy anything from Ashley's again, but I will definitely make sure to follow my own suggestions. read more

Went shopping for a sleeper sofa, we were met by Vahan who took us to the sleeper sofa section of the store, he was kind, courteous, professional and quite knowledgeable of the product. We didn't feel pressured and he answered all of our questions. We found and purchased the sleeper sofa we wanted and he was able to accommodate our delivery preference. I bought a $900 pullout couch and I should have gotten my money back the moment it didn't open on the first day. It keeps falling apart and I'm having the pullout part replaced for the second time in less than a year. They said they'd call within 7-10 days and I had to call within almost a month with an update. Martin is always helpful and would quickly pick up a call or return our calls for questions. Martin always find the answers and provide options. I wouldn't recommend Ashley's furniture to my worst enemy. The customer service is horrible. We ordered two dressers and one was damaged so we had to turn it back. I took a day off of work to get the replacement delivered and it was the wrong size. I called the store, the 800 number, every phone number listed online and on the paperwork and kept getting the Philippines, that's even the store phone number go straight to the Philippines. We had to go to the store to actually talk to the manager and she said that she was working on it already, but nobody called to talk to us. I would not recommend these Ashley's stores. Do not waste your time or money, we found the same set at living Spaces for $300 difference, cheaper that is. it took seven weeks to get the proper dressers that we ordered. Stay away. read more

I made a purchase for a sectional cream colored couch about 2 years ago April 15th 2021. Me and my wife loved the way the couch looked and the price was affordable, the price was roughly over 2,000.00 including warranty and delivery and all that stuff. Context of this is their warranty! Background: a sectional couch cream colored, 5 year protection plan included. After two years of having it it was finally time for a cleaning with our warranty. About 4 weeks ago I called to make a report with GBS. Everything was going as planned I sent pictures and they were going to send someone out to clean it. A week and a half passed and finally someone called to tell me an appointment. Already a bad impression. So once the the tech came over to, what I thought was clean it. But NNNNOOOOOO!! He only came to diagnose the situation even after I put in a claim with GBS and sent over plenty of pictures for them to diagnose the issue via photo but instead someone had to come for that. So whatever that happened. I was waiting for a call the next day, the day after, the week after, 2 weeks after, and still nothing. I had to take matters into my own hands because not one company was going to call me not the service techs company not the company that I submitted my claim with, GBS, not even Ashley's home furniture! They all are terrible! So around 7:30am Pst 7/21/23 I called the furniture company that's does the cleaning and they stated that they don't have any paperwork of mines to begin the cleaning service I asked why and they said they need approval from a different company, GBS, so I told her I have a claim and she stated that I still needed to contact GBS, to give the authorization. I then contacted GBS, furniture warranty partner, and the stated that they did not approve my cleaning services to get done due to then only servicing single stains not multiple stains, they also stated that the warranty only covers 30 days of a single stay occurrence. So I told the rep "what if I got the stain about 3 weeks ago and the stain was from a cup that bounced on my couch and stained two parts of the couch?" She went on by saying since multiple stains have been occurred then that doesn't fall under the single stain policy, and I told her " why if it happened with the same cup at the same time and date so it had to of been a single stain just went here and there!" She went on by stating that " it still is under a multi stain so we don't cover that but I can recommend you to a company that does do full service cleaning and they will give you a quote." I then proceeded to ask her a personal opinion and it went like this, " so you're telling me that in your own personal opinion if you got a couch and warranty on this couch for stains and a company called GBS tells you that your couch isn't covered due to multiple stains, you would be mad and to top things off they send you to a different company to pay even more money to get the couch cleaned even though you already paid for warranty?!!" She couldn't answer a simple question like this due to " policies she's following." So I then just stated to her "okay I understand you can't answer a simple rhetorical question that has only a yes or no answer to it." And proceeded to say thanks for not helping me and hung up the phone. Now I am here stuck with a couch that apparently is covered with stain warranty but not really covered with stain warranty. PATHETIC, that is what I call all three of these companies! ASHLEYS HOME FURNITURE, GBS, and their cleaning company! All three are just the definition of what rip off looks like in person and in a company! I HOPE YOU GUYS READ THIS BEFORE BUYING OR EVEN THINKING OF BUYING FURNITURE FROM THIS PLACE! She was great, kind and respectful to the point that we choose her to be our salesperson (hence we did not know you are assigned a sales associate the minute you walk into the the store) We looked around liked a couple of options but needed to get back hone to make sure we had the space for either one. We took her card and left to follow up. Next day we Walked in, another salesperson greeted us, She said I'll be helping you all, we responded with "we know where we are going" to compare measurements and make the purchase, then we called JF who was scheduled to be on the floor that day- to process payment. She joined us to start the purchasing process when the salesperson who greeted us that day made a fuss about us being her client who she had spent hours with (not true) It was awkward. All of the sales associates on the floor were whispering laughing and looking at me and my partner. Horrible. We spoke to management and explained, he okayed and allowed JD to proceed. We picked up the sofa the following day- and what do you know the one piece of the sofa that is not reversible had been damaged. Better Communication would have avoided such an unpleasant experience from all involved. But the damaging of our sofa is not okay. I'm just not sure I'd go back. Their furniture is gorgeous but won't spend my hard earned money in such a toxic culture environment like we experienced at this store. THE OTHER SHOE - The bed stand that goes below my mattress and box springs was never delivered or included despite me being explicitly told it would be. - I was supposed to receive monthly $50 rebates in the form of prepaid cards for the first year of payments. I managed to get one sent from another third party company. - My payments inexplicably rose from $84 to over $100 despite assurances that this would not happen. - I spent countless hours on the phone to three separate companies -- Ashley, the financing company and the rebate card company. They play the shell game and keep redirecting you, and that's only after spending hours on the phone. At this point I'm thinking about how best to pursue legal action. This place has already been sued many times for illegal and deceptive practices and it is inevitable that there will be another class action against them for some of what I'm experiencing. I highly recommended javier, my order was delivered on time no damage was made, received a phone call 10 min my order arrived, and they installed it professionally in less than an hour. The funny thing is every time I get a order confirmation with my delivery date, IT'S NOT THE DAMN CHAIRS I ORDERED!! I have bought from the store plenty of times and never have had issues and the first time that I need to use the warranty or the manufacture warranty I've been getting the runaround since January 2021. Mind you the furniture that I bought I bought back in January 2020 and like everything I have warranty on it because that's what responsible people do. It has been barely even what the year and everything is falling apart and I spent over $15,000 at the store. As you know Covid hit in 2020 and working for the medical field I wasn't even home as much four my sofa my loveseat my small table for chairs and one barstool have all managed to fall apart. No I don't have six kids I have to and that's it and because I had to work throughout Covid we were never home because they were had to be at daycare and I had to be at work at the doctors office. I tried to contact all the right personnel and all I've had Has been running around nobody seems to know how to help and some of them have flat out denied me and have lent either the store for faulty furniture and then vice versa the warranty department nothing to do with it. I am at a loss of words needless to say I just want someone to help this is not right I have warranty therefore I should be able do use such warranty. And the excuse from the warranty department is that it's a manufacture issue mind you I didn't receive my furniture to March 15 of 2020 therefore the warranty was up in March 2021 for the manufacturer and I contacted them in January 2021 which is still technically under the manufacture warranty. But both Ashley furniture store and the warranty department keep pointing the fingers at each other this is beyond unacceptable stressful not right. Do not purchase Furniture from them! I purchased a 3 piece sectional on 10/2020which they held it for me until my move in date. It was delivered to by apartment on 6/10/21 which I moved into on 6/15, on that weekend I notice the middle portion started to drop from a corner and the recliner would not open. On 6/25 called the store and they sent out a tech on 7/7. The tech indicate exactly "what did they do?" Referring to the delivery guys. Was asked if I had extended guarantee which I do. However just like the other customers on yelp I am fighting to have them replace the couch. Today the same tech came again as they claim its personal damage, mind you the couch must be made of styrofoam!! Once again I have been advised to call my extended guarantee otherwise I should purchase a new couch is what the unprofessional tech guy said. Wow! And then he proceeded to say we broke it as we sat on it with heavy force! Yet on 7/7 he stated it was damaged already when delivered. If I can give this store -10 stars I would. I went with my mother to buy her a dinner room table and chairs. I spoke to an associate Alex and he promised me that both the table and chairs will be assembled by the delivery team. But to be advised that there will be two different deliveries but not to worry everything will be ready at the same time. I felt very comfortable with that since my 72 year old mother lives alone. Delivery was supposed to happen between 12-4 my mother received a phone call letting her know that they are running two hours late. The team didn't get to her house till 8. And advised her they can not assemble the chairs since they didn't deliver it. Which is very disappointing but I understand there protocol. I called to speak to the "store manager" Jacob. I let him know exactly what happen and what I was promised by his associate. He was very very rude and didn't let me speak. I let him know since this is there protocol Alex shouldn't give false promises just to make a sale. And needs to be trained for future sales. Mr Jacob cut me off and let me know he will "try" to get this fixed and hung up on me. Again not sure why or how he feels he's able to speak to customers like this. She was patient in answering our questions so we were able to make our decision (after the frustration of visiting other stores). Her manager, Taylor was exceptional when it came to price matching and finalizing the sale! Also, thanks to Leah in processing the final paperwork quickly and efficiently.
