I am very pleased with the level of customer service I experienced with Matthew Springstead at the Spanish Fort, AL store. I live in the San Antonio, TX area, but was trying to buy a new mattress for my son in Spanish Fort. The online experience was clunky and didn't answer questions I had so I made the call, and Katie (the store manager) put me in touch with Matthew. He answered every question, offered great advice, and pricing was excellent. He seemed to really want to help and was communicative throughout the process. The time line promised is a lie from our salesperson, Brittainy Hollins. We are in week 17 waiting for our bedroom furniture and every time you talk to customer service it's something different. I wish they stood behind their sales, but they just shrug off as someone else's problem & refuse to acknowledge the inconvenience. Customer service is THE WORST, HORRIBLE. They contracted out delivery driver who showed up in a uhaul. I had put my truck on the street so he could get in driveway and clipped my truck. A few thousand in damage. Ashley did nothing to resolve this issue since he was a contractor. They couldn't/wouldn't even give me his insurance information. They did not even attempt to help at all. I didn't get a police report because driver admitted to it. I'll never do business with them again. Additionally, after months of use, quite evident low quality sectional despite the high quality price. read more

Absolutely the worst service and sales ever, the manager sold us a reclining sofa and chair tell us that their furniture comes with a five year warranty but didn't explain it would cost $220, my bad for not reading the receipt or asking questions, to top it off the recliner mechanism didn't release, we called for service and the person who answered never turned our problem into the service department, after waiting three days no return call, called Emily who is in charge of service and she said she's on it and we'll receive a call in 48 hours, after a week still no repair, at 73 years old I decided to repair it myself, I'm crippled with arthritis, gout and bad back but I turned the chair on it's side and repaired it myself. I will recommend if you buy from them beware, I should have known there was a reason no one was in the store besides us, I'm considering the return policy. read more

I purchased a simple flat top one drawer desk on Nov 7th 2020 and as of Jan 5th 2021 NO DESK. It seems everyone blames covid for all but how about just taking the one on the floor and delivering it to my home. Or perhaps find something near it that you can get in and sale me that one. Service seems like a word of the past. I seem also to remember getting things when other bad situations where abound. I will wait for the desk but even with your mask and hand washing I will not return to Ashley in Spanish Fort. I rather over pay and get some service with respect for my needs. read more

Around July 2nd, my dad purchased a mattress and box spring totaling $3,237.54. This company paid a third party to deliver the mattress who in return scratched my dad's hardwood floor. He has been given the run around by both parties. They were more than excited to take his money but less than willing to correct a wrong. read more

Be cautious of furniture and service. Bought leather recliners and couches with extended warranty. In a years time frame on recliner and couch needs replacement. Been working with Guardian warranty service for 3 months still waiting on parts They either loose the parts order or say it's shipping that week. Delay delay delay never again. Don't wast your money on warranty or furniture that years up in a year. By the way the furniture is all leather with electric mechanisms aka not cheap. read more

Couch ok so far but in a rarely used room. Read the fine print. Fee for changing delivery date. 25% restock fee even before pick up or delivery. $300. return fee on mattress. I picked up in a warehouse in Loxley. The plastic legs are very cheap which I had to install. Fine print on contract will send me to another store in the future. read more

We have not heard from them since we received part of the furniture. Looks like it is goint to be almost 2 months before we get all pieces. I bought a computer desk and it has become such a health problem, I'm having a problem on how to overcome it. The stain smell is so strong that even after putting baking soda in the closed area where the computer keyboard goes, everytime I open it to type the smell is so strong, I get headaches, eyes burn and water, I have to get off the computer.
