Do not shop here!!!! I ordered my dresser on July 4th and was told it would be delivered on July 16th. I get a call July 16th saying that the dresser is back ordered until aug 6th. Bummer but oh well. I paid for a tall dresser and paid for it to be delivered and set up in my room. Aug 6th I get home and see a large box sitting on porch. I Asked my mother in law what happened and she said they knocked and handed her a paper and left the box. It's the wrong dresser and was not set up. So I call and tell them this is all wrong and they tell me they will call me in a few days. Finally get a call back on Friday and was told they would come pick up the box on Monday. I was also told they would not be ordering the correct dresser until the picked up the box. They said I had to go into the store and pay the price it is now (4th of July sale was 50% off) and I pay shipping again. I asked her to refund the money back to my store card since this has already been a nightmare. They said not until they pick up the box. So this box was pushed into my house until someone could pick it up. I move the box out to the porch today so they can pick it up between 2PM-6PM. Came home 8:30 and guess what still here. I went into Ashley Furniture on Saturday the 17th of February to purchase a sleeper sofa, in which I did. The delivery date was scheduled for the following Monday, so I scheduled my mother to sit at the house and wait for the delivery of the couch on my behalf as I had to work. The delivery process was fast and easy, so my mother signed the document and proceeded to go out and purchase a set of sheets for me to surprise me with. After returning from the store, she and my daughter went to pull the bed out and to their horror, there was no sleeper. I got home from work, called Ashley Furniture and was told that the sales rep made an error and ordered the regular sofa and I would have to pay the difference. In my own defense, I questioned why I was taking the brunt of the deal and how on earth would I ever know the difference between item number this or item number that and which one was which? The customer service rep then called the Stockton store to speak with a manager and related that the store would swap the couches at no extra charge and the new deliver date would be Friday, the 23rd. Great, thank you. Friday came, no call from Ashley Furniture, no delivery. I called. Again. Spoke with customer service who had no record of the previous phone call or delivery date. They called the Stockton store, spoke with a manager, who ordered the swap and scheduled it for Sunday the 25th. Great, thank you. Sunday came, no call from Ashly Furniture, no delivery. I called. Again. Spoke with customer service who put me in touch with the store manager in Stockton and we set yet another date for the swap for the following Saturday, March 3rd. Great, thank you. Couch came. No pick up. The delivery team would not pick up the first couch because there was no paperwork. I had them call Ashley Furniture. After talking to Ashley Furniture they insisted that they could not pick up the couch, so I had them pull it into my dining room, up against my table. When the delivery team left, I called Ashley Furniture. Again. Spoke with customer service who tried her best to reach out to the Stockton store and correct the problem. She said someone from the store would call me. Great. Sunday morning. I called Ashley Furniture. Again. Spoke with customer service who tried her best to reach out to the Stockton store and correct the problem. She said someone from the store would call and if I hadn't heard anything by noon to call her back. Great, thanks. Sunday noon came and went. I called Ashley Furniture. Again. Spoke with customer service who tried her best to reach out to the Stockton store and correct the problem. And that they were trying to catch a truck in transit and would call me. Great. Got a call late that afternoon with an "unfortunately there will be no pick up today" "your order was accidently processed as a sale so that's why the delivery team couldn't pick it up." You mean to tell me that you didn't try to correct the situation when you had them on the phone? If it were me, I would have done everything in my power to correct this, paperwork could be emailed to an iPhone in minutes. Would have saved Ashley Furniture a ton of money. Why did the store not reach out to me? Why did I have to repeatedly call the store when I had their property encroaching my dining room? Why did I have to sit at home the entire weekend waiting on phone calls that never came? I had plans. Why did I have to cancel dinner with company Sunday night? I was then promised that they would pick up the couch the following Saturday, March 10th as I am unwilling to take time from work, especially with the proven track record, of no call no show. Not worth my vacation time. Today is Wednesday the 7th and I received a text about a delivery that my product is available sooner. Huh? So I called Ashley Furniture. Again. Spoke with at rep who said the item was scheduled to be picked for Friday the 23rd of March. I lost it. They took it back to the warehouse. We went the the warehouse the next day and wanted a refund. They told us to call a number that keeps us on hold. We are still going through this refund process. DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM. I opened a credit card with this company when I first purchased my furniture. It was used a total of two times (within a week from one another). About a month or so goes by and another charge was put on my account - I opened an investigation and it was denied because "it was for a rug that got charged to your account after the fact..." I look at my total from when I made a rug purchase and it was when I was first charged (aka opening up the account). I opened another investigation AGAIN. But DO NOT OPEN A CREDIT CARD WITH THEM BECAUSE YOUR INFORMATION WILL GET SHARED AND THEY WILL DENY YOU IF YOU OPEN AN INVESTIGATION. Keep all receipts of your transactions. My husband and I are currently couch shopping. We were on a motorcycle ride and decided to stop in and look at Ashley Furniture. Mind you we were dressed in our riding clothes so we weren't fancy. The young sales lady probably in her 20's who was in the front of the store looked me up and down as she "greeted" us in a very unfriendly way. We walked through your the rest of the store and not one other salesperson smiled or spoke to us. The furniture looked cheap and was WAY over priced. I will never go back in this store again. My family and I went to this store for Memorial Day sale.We found what we wanted at 70% off the original price. The sales lady didn't stay with us while we were deciding which act set we wanted. When we finally decided on what we wanted, we were at the register and she needed a manager to over ride the original price. We waited over 40 minutes for a manager and the sales lady was already looking for her next sale. Like we weren't even there. Very bad customer service. She even checked the warehouse to make sure all the items we ordered was in stock. We were glad to hear it. When we got the first email for the delivery, I confirmed the order and the time for the next day delivery. We all waited all day for them to show up, but no one called or emailed me. I called customer service, and they said that I got a robot call at 8:55 the night before stating that the delivery wasn't going to happen. I had to tell the customer service lady, Hailey,that I was very upset and did not appreciate the way we were treated. I wanted a manager, but she said that the manager wasn't there today. So I asked her if she was the highest ranking person there. She said that she will email her manager for a $100 gift card for the store. I told her that it wasnt enough. So miraculous, there was a manager I could talk to. I told Shannon, the manager, the situation and the best she could do was a $300 gift card and i would have to sign for it. So all of the furniture that the sales lady said was in stock, was not there. I never got a call or message on my phone. Purchased basically all of our furniture here (formal living room set, family room sectional, dining table set and sons bedroom set). Helpful friendly manager who is ready to resolve any issues and makes you feel appreciated as a chain yet. The particular rep we dealt with is a bit moody. I think it's important to note he was not moody the first go around being that we spent nearly 8k but any follow ups he was not nice and basically made us feel we were bothering so we do not deal with him anymore when we go back. The managers are superb and very attentive to our concerns. While I will be honest and say there were glitches in regards to delivery dates, item mixup, the installation(which is by 3rd parties) the way their management handled the solution says a lot and in a GOOD way. They listened to our concerns and acted immediately to fix them which in my book counts more than the actual problem. They took accountability and were ready to fix the problems so I give 5 stars for that. The lack of one star is due to the amount of follow up needed to fix the issues and the attitude of that one rep but again the management there gets an A+ in our book. They matched the online price as well! The items we purchased are excellent quality have held up so far and look brand new. Everyone who comes over compliments our furniture and asks where we purchased! They have a wide variety of items to choose from, store is clean and well lit so it showcases the items beautifully. So it was my second time to come here. First was on Memorial Day bec I need something and I know I will have a good deal . If I made my reviews on my first visit I could've given the store 5 stars . But on my second visit on 4th of July , I was disappointed I wasn't able to get anything. After months of waiting, we picked up our sectional couch from the warehouse just to find that it isn't even the right parts of the sectional couch that we ordered. The sales rep who helped us in store wrote down our sectionals incorrectly. I went in store to get this issue resolved. Their exact words were that their "hands are tied" and they cannot help us. We asked for a full refund and they gave us a support number to call. After being transferred from person to person for almost a week, someone was able to put in a claim. A couple days later our claim was rejected and we were unable to get a refund since we had picked up the couches from the warehouse. Worst customer service. Horrible company. Ordered a bedroom set for my daughter, first delivery delivery man cut the boxspring. Had a second delivery for the remainder of the bed with the exception of the mirror for the dresser on Saturday, it was scheduled between eight and noon. Prior to this delivery, I confirmed with Ashley that all items were available with the exception of the mirror. At 8:30 AM, received a phone call from the delivery warehouse stating that the headboard and mirror was unavailable. I advise Ashley delivery service that I would take whatever they had available and they refused to complete the delivery as scheduled. Miraculously four hours later I was told that the mirror was on a truck in the yard and that they would complete delivery on Sunday. As suspected my Saturday delivery Was canceled by Ashley do them not wanting to have two separate deliveries. I made approximately 15 phone calls to the Ashley store on Trinity Parkway in an attempt to talk to the manager Rosario. I was promised by all the stuff I talk to that iMessage was given to her and that she would return my call. It is Sunday at 6 PM, and I still have not heard back from her. It should be noted that I did speak to a employee at approximately 8 PM last night by the name of Allison who was most helpful and actually took care of the problem. Initially they offered me $100 gift card which would require me to spend more money at Ashley and also Wait once again for delivery service, I refuse this. Purchasing the furniture was a very nice and easy transaction. This is the only good part of this store. The rest of the story is horrible customer service, false promises, and failed deliveries. Purchased an entire living room set, including accessories (lamps, rug, picture frames, etc.), from this location in the middle of November 2016. Was told due to the high demand that it wouldn't be delivered until the week before Christmas 2016. This wasn't a problem as my wife and I were in no rush. About 2 weeks before Christmas we received picture frames in the mail which we thought was weird as we were not informed things would be mailed to us. Delivery day comes and furniture comes. First issue, an ottoman we delivered had a huge slash in it. Not a huge issue as we rejected that piece and had it set up for delivery. Second issue, no accessories (besides the picture frames in the mail). I called the store and was on hold for 10-15 minutes before someone put me back on hold after quickly describing my issue. I hung up and went in to the store. I was informed they cancelled my accessories order, but didn't know why. They reordered the accessories and told me they would be mailed to me. When I asked for an ETA they said I'd have to call back the next day once the order was finalized so it had a tracking number. When I called back the next day I was told December 28th would be the day when the rest of my accessories came in. December 28th came and went with no delivery. I had the ottoman set for delivery on January 8th so I decided to wait until then to find out where my accessories were. Ottoman came in today (01/08/17) but still no accessories. I go into the store to ask why. Tons of people working but nobody wants to help. Finally I get help and the girl just tells me here are your UPS tracking numbers go home and look them up. I get home and the tracking numbers don't exist!!!!! Never buy from this store unless you want MONTHS of chasing your order with poor customer service to help. read more

We purchased approximately 10,000 dollars worth of furniture from this store when we bought our new home. The couches that we purchased started falling apart after a couple months. They are made with terrible quality and not meant to be sat in everyday. Ashley's had technicians come out multiple times to "fix" the couches, only to go back to the same condition in the following weeks. This went on for a couple of months. All they said they could do is give us new cushion covers, which doesn't solve the problem. And the couch is still under warranty. We spoke to store employees about 5 different times and were not able to get a hold of manager. No one ever calls you back or returns your messages. As soon as you make a purchase, they don't care about any problems you have. We finally went into the store and the store manager was completely uninterested in our situation. He ridiculed us by saying he does not know what we are doing with the couches to have had them in such bad condition and questioned our honesty. As customers we have never dealt with such dissatisfaction with a store manager. We will follow up with corporate to make a claim and advise of the unprofessionalism. So I called the store and talked with Chelsea about the situation and if she can helped me out, but this girl was plain rude to the fullest. Tell me that I must of missed a call from a 909, which I told her no I didn't get a called from a 909, nor did I missed a call. She said her little rude comment to me, which I'm still a customer of Ashley til I get my refund I won't be a customer anymore. She then gave me a 909 to called and asks about my refund, which was the wrong number to where I needed to call about my refund. Ashley furnture did not help by rescheduling and cancelling our orders, i certainly entertained them with dry remarks about bad business but they considered the delivery service a "courtesy" and we paid the service from the beginning to recieve our items in a timely fashion. and if you expect them to show up within the time frame, i can share a good laugh with you. the corporate office has yet to hear of my compaint but if you consider workjng with shaun and allison who says she is a manager but it would be quite vexing considering how poorly they handled our service call. i notified her that they were late on our delivery and they started out with "let me see" that would be something to consider if you working with a crystal ball at a carnival or as an optometrist. it would have more appropriate to be empathetic to our needs and adjust that to the service, but the matter if fact tone that it was a courtesy and that actual ETA would be 30 minutes later was really as if i spent all this money as a favor to our purchase when all in one text it says it will be a guarenteed window. so if you like confabulations and adjusted fallacies please shop here . if you are hard working and make true to customer service than you must be self employed or not employed with this company. the absolute worst service . read more

Stay clear. Bought a leather couch on 2/15, broke the next day. Ordered a coffee table at the same time. Bought insurance but the insurance with the company is all fiction and lies. Purchased coffee table also, came broken, but not after being told three times that it was going to be delivered and was not. Spent all day waiting (two separate Saturdays). Now I'm practically two months in with a broken couch (still!) and no table. Have been on numerous calls, no one has the same story. Avoid at all costs. You'd have better luck going to the back of a Safeway and taking a dumpster couch home with you. This is place is the worst. Going to dispute all charges and will continue to pray this company goes BANKRUPT. read more

Worst Furniture Experience Ever. We went to this Stockton Location, we were assigned a Sales Lady named Ilene, we were in the process of closing our house so could not put money on our credit card, she said, no problem, you can put on your friends' card to hold the couch and she will swap the payment later with our new Ashley credit card and would give us 35 month interest free installments. But as you know when the delivery date came and we went there to swap the payment, they said they could not do it, if they do we would have to wait for couple months for our couch. Totally unacceptable, Now we had to work it out with our friend to give him the cash that we did not have, messed up our whole home buying pleasure. The pain doesnt stop there, we ordered 1 small couch, 1 big couch and a table for our work. As we are in IT profession and my wife works from home for 3 days in a week, she needs that table to work on. It was promised to be delivered on 21st December, but to our surprise, we got 2 couches (small ones in different color). Big couch got delayed for a week and no sign of our table. Its been a week that we tried the sales lady ilene twice and she stopped responding to us. We did a big mistake by going an hour away to ashley store in Stockton (from Elk Grove). now we cannot waste two hours every time to check the status on our table. Stay away from sales peoples promises there, they are just to sell. they dont care if it gets delivered on time.
