There were tons of reviews, some of them were recent, and there was NO indication that the salon had closed anywhere online so I booked my appointment, paid a deposit, confirmed my appointment, and showed up, only to find that the salon is no longer listed at the current address (it's a completely different salon now), one of the phone numbers listed is disconnected, and the other doesn't pick up. At no point in time did anybody contact me to let me know that they were no longer accepting appointments or that they had moved. Hopefully I will be able to get my deposit back. Very disappointed as this was the first time in over a year I was able to block out the time to take care of my hair. So I figured I'd just cut it short now, make the sacrifice, so I can enjoy long hair later. But I am SO happy I came here! My hair is a little above my shoulders now and it looks better than it did when it was long! Miss Carol was super knowledgeable, and really put me at ease by explaining everything she was doing as she was doing it. She was able to tell how my hair comes in kind of wavy/curly by looking at the roots (since it was straighter due to being weighed down before) and adjusted the cut accordingly. When I asked for bangs, even without knowing exactly how I wanted them to look, she gave me some that suit my face shape really well. Another cool thing about this place is they're familiar with military hair regulations. Definitely recommend it for any military peeps in the area, men or women. One last bonus: she took the time to braid my hair before cutting it, and managed to save a lot for donating!

She did a great job this is more me, and I really think I am done trying to put color in my hair. She was very happy I gave her the chance to fix it. That to me meant a lot. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the stylists who happened to be at the front desk. Lashelle took me back to wash my hair - she was so gentle and thorough, especially because my scalp is on the drier side during the winter. My hair was long and I wanted to cut a good chunk of it (several inches). When it came time for my haircut, she took her time and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. She added the many layers, and took her time blowdrying and styling it to showcase the layers. When she turned me around, I wasn't expecting the overall hairdo as I just wanted a simple blowout. I was amazed - I loved it! She made me look and feel amazing. I am overall so pleased with my experience, and I may just have to make the drive back out to see Lashelle the next time I'm looking to make a big chop again!
