There were tons of reviews, some of them were recent, and there was NO indication that the salon had closed anywhere online so I booked my appointment, paid a deposit, confirmed my appointment, and showed up, only to find that the salon is no longer listed at the current address (it's a completely different salon now), one of the phone numbers listed is disconnected, and the other doesn't pick up. At no point in time did anybody contact me to let me know that they were no longer accepting appointments or that they had moved. Hopefully I will be able to get my deposit back. Very disappointed as this was the first time in over a year I was able to block out the time to take care of my hair. If the business owners are reading this, if you've closed shop, please take down your online booking listing.

So I figured I'd just cut it short now, make the sacrifice, so I can enjoy long hair later. But I am SO happy I came here! My hair is a little above my shoulders now and it looks better than it did when it was long! Miss Carol was super knowledgeable, and really put me at ease by explaining everything she was doing as she was doing it. She was able to tell how my hair comes in kind of wavy/curly by looking at the roots (since it was straighter due to being weighed down before) and adjusted the cut accordingly. When I asked for bangs, even without knowing exactly how I wanted them to look, she gave me some that suit my face shape really well. Another cool thing about this place is they're familiar with military hair regulations. Definitely recommend it for any military peeps in the area, men or women. One last bonus: she took the time to braid my hair before cutting it, and managed to save a lot for donating!

I was happy with overall the job she did but the color was a little to light. But the overall job was solid. I shared that and she was like come back and I will fix it. So I made an appointment totally expecting to pay for it. She was like uhm the color is free. I was like "say what". She did a great job this is more me, and I really think I am done trying to put color in my hair. She was very happy I gave her the chance to fix it. That to me meant a lot. Most stylists get tuddy when you point out things. Not Teresa she was like ok let me fix it, and she did just that. This is for sure my new salon! She cut it even too, it's a little shorter than I expected. However it will grow back faster that way, plus it's even:) I plan on returning to her to keep my hair right and tight. Per usual the service is always really good, and I enjoy talking to her. Stylists are counselors and don't even realize it lol. My daughter will be visiting soon and I will add pics!

When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by one of the stylists who happened to be at the front desk. Lashelle took me back to wash my hair - she was so gentle and thorough, especially because my scalp is on the drier side during the winter. My hair was long and I wanted to cut a good chunk of it (several inches). When it came time for my haircut, she took her time and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. She added the many layers, and took her time blowdrying and styling it to showcase the layers. When she turned me around, I wasn't expecting the overall hairdo as I just wanted a simple blowout. I was amazed - I loved it! She made me look and feel amazing. I am overall so pleased with my experience, and I may just have to make the drive back out to see Lashelle the next time I'm looking to make a big chop again!

Out of nowhere the owner Donna forced her out, saying she no longer wanted her OR HER PEOPLE THERE. Im disgusted by this. Regardless of your political views, you cannot treat people this way. Gloria has been there 13 years. She is the youngest, hippest up to date stylist there in this very out of date mom and pop salon. If you ever met Gloria you would know she is the sweetest person. Im still in shock that anyone would treat someone the way Donna did. No notice, no reason, made her pack her things at 9am upon arrival even after Gloria begged her to let her finish her full week of appointments. Just heartless. Do NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY.

Her shop is always clean and put together with great light essential oils to calm you during your service. I went to Hannah, who at first was okay but at my second to last appointment did an awful job. Before my hair mistake color wise, somehow she turned my hair green. That was fixed at the time but I ended up with what looked like a giant skunk stripe in my hair when it went up. I went through the process of calling and asking for it to be fixed, which is already super awkward but I paid for a service with a certain expectation, and they also naturally have you go back to the person who made the mistake which is again, awkward. She wasn't able to, or willing to, fix my hair, just made it a little less drastic and advised me to wear my hair in a totally new and different style than my norm because it would hide her error. She also then refused to dry it unless I wanted to pay for a separate blow out, so it wasn't as obvious to me how little she fixed since I left with damp hair. To lessen my confidence in her abilities, she also got a call from a client, which she took in front of me, where the client complained that she had missed a good amount of spots whilst dying her hair a few days prior. Not a good look overall. My new colorist was very polite in explaining how she'd have to fix my botched color but I'm still a bit salty about what I paid for what I got here.

I am happy to say that I got everything I wanted, and my braids look just as good as I imagined them, at a fraction of the cost of other salons. My hair was finished very quickly, and efficiently with just ONE braider!!!! I would highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family! Both braiders were super friendly and welcoming as well!!!
