I participated in every single group and never missed a single day. during my stay someone relasped on meth and was allowed back into the program. I was let go after crying and begging to stay for hitting my weed vape pen , admitting it and promising I would stop bc I needed this accountability . They refused and asked me to leave . I want everyone to know I left and went to a place called Totality . That continues to work with me and every single client to ensure they can stay and work on themselves. I also recently saw a client that relapsed back at clear again . I have been sober ever since , and that is because of leaving clear and finding a place that is welcome to all addicts and alcoholics with open arms . I went in and found a really great doctor there, but man, they make you pay through the nose. And…read morethen follow-up appointments are $500 an hour or $250 every half hour, and they will not renew your prescriptions if you don't actively have regular appointments. The brain scan and the counsel and the supplement advice I received were helpful to know, but I think I could have gotten a lot more out of those $5,000. It really didn't tell me anything new and they didn't prescribe me anything revolutionary. Even though I can see what's going on with my brain, you still have to think your way through this. So I don't think if you're considering whether you should spend $6,660 at the Amen Clinic or invest it in cognitive behavioral therapy, I say you'd be better off using it on therapy. It was an interesting experience, albeit expensive and not so fruitful, but I think the worst part is the not getting prescriptions renewed because I don't want to pay 500 bucks an hour. I found it's not a true "care" or solution place- it's a profit center primarily, with short-term focus and poor priorities for human care.

The kids constantly complained about the quality of the food ..many meals wete inedible, so they are offered sandwiches as a substitute, which consistency of bread turkey and nothing else .nit the most tasty sandwich ..for the amount of money they charge for treatment, they could afford to hire a better chef .
