Be ready to wait for at least an hour after your scheduled appointment to be seen. This has happened 3 times in a row for me now and I'm actually typing this review because I'm still waiting and have nothing better to do and I was curious to know how many other people have dealt with this same issue. If you don't have an hour or more to wait, then seek help elsewhere. I gave it two stars because the staff is friendly. Paid $150 in advance. Was suspicious about his practice when I drove up and saw he was located in a supermarket shopping center. Funnier yet, there's a giant banner flying over it saying "WE DO BOTOX!" "Dr." Ma'sBooby spent the entire time talking about himself, how "special" he was, and how he relocated here from back east; didn't stop to take a breath. Was unfamiliar with my symptoms but pretended to know everything. Staff is rude, "forgot" to send order to lab for my tests, said I'd have to pick them up in person, lol. People, look at his web site. His claims, treatments are the kind the FDA and AMA warn about--bogus. Sheer quackery. His TV ads show him for what he is--a classic NARCISSIST. read more

This place has horrible customer service!! Its dissapointing because I do like the actual doctor. First off, even if you have an appointment expect to wait for at least 45 min to an hour before actually being seen.. I went in three weeks ago and was told a referral would be put in for some imaging. I've called several times to ask about the referral, and they've given me alot of excuses. The first time it, "it didn't go through". I just called again, and the associate went to check on it and I was place on a 20 minute hold. After 20 minutes I hung up and called back several times to be ignored each time. If you want real help, go elsewhere! read more

Dr. Majzoubi is one of the most caring and knowledgeable physicians you can encounter. I have been going to Dr. Maj for many years and I truly trust him, he really cares about my health. I also get my Vitamin B12 injections and soon I hope to start his vitamin IVs to keep my body functioning at its optimum level, and not too many physicians offer this. I have had to wait for a long time during my appointment times, however, you have to wait for long periods of time with every office visit everywhere else, I have no problem with this because he does take his time with every patient, which includes me. I have also been a patient with his wife who practices hypnotherapy, and I love her, when I leave her office I feel truly resilient, she truly cares for her patients. I love these physicians and their staff. I do highly recommend this office. I don't trust too many physician's with my health, but I do him. read more

Stem cell therapy. I highly recommend the stem cell therapy. It is expensive yet is a good price and nothing pays the improvement that you get from the stem cells. I have fibrosis of the lungs and my specialist was already taking about lungs transplant. I was using the oxygen at 8L. AfterI received the treatment. My oxygen level improved greatly. I am currently using only 2L now. Staff is pleasant during visits. read more

My mother goes here. I go with her a lot of the time. Dr. Maj is one of the nicest and brilliant doctors in Visalia. Which is few and far between here. He is very thorough in the work that he does. I am the type of person who really appreciates a doctor that actually researched your case prior to or after, the first visit. He did that for my mom. He has worked with her and is still helping her feel better every time she goes in. He does his very best, always. He is a believer in healing the source, and tries not to mask the symptoms with pills if he doesn't have to. I really appreciate all he has done for my mom, she has hope because of him. After some research I decided to try out Maj Medical. I've been struggling with depression for 10+ years and haven't been able to find a happy medium especially with medications. I paid out of pocket to see the dr as my insurance wasn't accepted there. I was hoping to get a very personable experience with the doctor. He barely spoke with me for 15 mins. Just prescribed me a different medication. But the office hasn't even filled the prescription yet. I just had to call back and tell them to send it to my pharmacy. I'm beyond disappointed after trying to find a doctor that would listen to my problems. I felt like I was more of a problem for him. Was really looking forward to my appointment especially after seeing he is a holistic dr and does hypnotherapy. I left feeling nothing but disappointment. I have a follow up in 2 weeks and I'm pretty sure I'm going to cancel. read more

Really bad service. 4 of us went for covid testing and none of us got results back until we had called over a month later paid over $500. Taylor nurse lied and said she spoke to all of us regarding test but that's ok we have phone records from 4 phones stating they never called us ever and all calls were to them to try to get results. For 2 weeks straight then calls again a month later to still get results. Spoke with doctor and he said too bad conversation over and hung up on me. I started seeing Dr. Maj for hormone replacement and vitamin shots. He is a vary caring Dr. and really knows hi stuff. Now I am also a Diabetic for 30 yrs now. About 8 months or so the nerve damage was so bad I could not walk no more than a couple steps. It was SO bad I was actually considering having my foot cut off! I overheard someone in the office mention Stem Cell Therapy I did some checking on my own did about 4 consults with the Dr. and decided to go for it. That was about 2-3 months ago and I am free of all pain and I can even dance now it is simply put A Miracle!!! After looking for a PCP and being pushed around and not taken serious by FHCN I decided to give MD Maj a try. I needed a referral to a specialist and he called the specialist personally and got me in ASAP! The specialist referred me to another specialist and he said he would rather me see someone else and again called that specialist personally and was in the next week. MD Maj is very personable, he took the time to explain lab results and CT scans to me, helping me understand my diagnosis. And I'm so grateful he called these specialist's personally and got me in. His staff is wonderful and accommodating when making appointments. The only downside is the wait. As others have mentioned sometimes you wait 45min to an hour in the exam room. But I'd wait to see a MD that makes me feel like he cares. The place is clean and comfortable. read more

I have been going here almost 2 years! I absolutely loved the staff and the doctor. About the last 6 months anytime I needed an appointment I would wait anywhere from 45 minutes in the waiting room and then continue to wait 45 minutes to an hour in the room to be seen 4 less than 5 minutes. My last doctor's visit in October I was literally there for 3 hours. Today I had an appointment and waited 45 minutes for them to tell me I had to pay $75 of my $100 deductible in order to be seen because I had a balance of $90. I have never been to a doctor or they charge to administer a shot. This place will nickel-and-dime you! I've asked for itemized printouts still waiting dr says I've done all my procedures and girls say I still have 1 or two procedures I paid for left . I am disappointed to have to leave this review as a one star due to the high hopes that I had of finally establishing a relationship with the doctor for long term care. I have never met a more impersonal Doctor Who comes across as arrogant and uncaring. He barely even greets you and the only smile I've ever seen across his face was when I opted for a procedure I paid directly for. I have had 3 visits in hopes of just breaking though his demeanor and establishing some rapport but after today I am done. I waited for test results and seen him twice over then with no direction as to what I can do for how I am feeling. I'll start with the positive, which isn't much. All of the support staff are very nice, professional and helpful. Also, the office is clean and in a easily accessible location. I really wish that was all it took to have a good experience but unfortunately in this office the doctor is an extremely weak link to say the least. Dr. Majzoubi is the most disrespectful, unprofessional and heartless person, let alone doctor, I have ever met. He's clearly only in his profession to make money. He does not communicate well. You can forget ever trying to get him to call you back unless you have his direct line (my insurance card was issued with this number by mistake) and then he will become very upset by your call. I showed up to the (empty) office without an appointment as suggested by the receptionist since Dr. Majzoubi hadn't returned my phone calls or processed my paperwork 4 days after my initial visit. I was told by the doctor himself that I couldn't see him without an appointment and I was a disruption to the whole office. He told me I would need to leave or he would call the police. I never once raised my voice nor did anything to be asked to leave besides be present. I was also told I needed to find a new primary care doctor since he was dismissing me as a patient. This was all because he didn't want to process my paperwork for a CT scan that should have been processed at my first visit. I was humiliated and left high and dry with a fairly urgent medical issue. He spoke to his staff in Persian while I waited and I can only assume it was about me. The only saving grace was a kind assistant that gave me what I needed after the doctor was in another room. Do yourself a favor and avoid this doctor at all costs. I wouldn't step foot in his office if you paid me. read more

Wow! what a beautiful office and Great Care! Dr. Majzoubi was very pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. He was very engaging and seem to truly care about my well being. My husband and I absolutely LOVE this Doctor and his style of care. We first saw Dr. Majzoubi a few weeks ago and now our entire family has switched to him as our primary care physician. This Doctor is sharp and very caring about his patients. He orders what is needed to make an accurate diagnosis and starts treatment asap. Dr. Maj is great! He takes the time to talk to you about your health and will answer any questions or concerns you have. He really cares about what is going on and if changes need to be made. The staff is great and super friendly every time i walk in. The entire clinic is always extremely clean and put together. Appointments are easier to make because they do schedule after 3pm so it works great with a job where you get off a little later. The wait is a little long sometimes, especially when he has a full day booked but it is only one doctor so it is understandable and for the care he gives it is worth the wait. In case anyone is looking, he also offers Hormone Replacement Therapy Treatment for FTM or MTF and I know that is extremely hard to find here in the central valley. This guy know his stuff. He's been my Dr for years. I chose him as a PCP after working in a hospital that he had rights in. I saw how his patients loved this Dr and very soon understood why. He would make rounds after a long day in the office and never once complained or skimped on the patient face time. He made sure all of their needs were met before leaving for the night, sometimes at 10:00, 11:00 pm. As a patient he's done the same for me, finding the causes of my ailments, not just throwing meds at them. He is very compassionate while showing much understanding of medicine. As a nurse I see DRs all too often that are all about quantity, not quality. This Dr will be the last Dr u ever try, trust me. His staff is just as amazing. I can't praise them all enough! read more

I like Dr Majzoubi and the office is nice and in a good area, but I will concur with some reviews before mine.. I've had a few issues with having prescriptions and test results faxed. The office staff is nice, but still have the issues of not doing what they say they'll do or simply forgetting. I did feel as though the wait was a little lengthy, but I've been blessed with very prompt and professional doctor's offices in my past. Overall this was nothing I was going to find a new doctor over, but these reviews make me nervous. read more
