The quality of fabrics that you can choose from at Ashoo Fabrics is unparalleled. We looked at several stores, and returned curtains from two different stores due to inferior products and workmanship. While driving down Miramar Road we saw this store and decided to stop in. Best random stop we did that week!!! Sam met us when we walked in, and immediately understood our past frustrations with curtains. He agreed to come to our home, where he drew out several options and showed us a wide variety of fabrics and patterns until we found what we wanted. We had different criteria for the kitchen and for the living room, and he designed separate plans for each. And this is where Sam truly shines!!!!! We received our curtains a few weeks later, and set up an installation appointment. Sun came out, and meticulously installed our curtains one panel at a time. He took his time, and answered all our questions as we asked them. He even had a variety of rosette sizes to see what we wanted, whether short or long, and explained how their placement would affect the aesthetics of the curtain. His installation expertise was apparent from the beginning, very precise and clean and left no mess or damage. And if you are looking for customer satisfaction, you absolutely CANNOT beat Sam. When our kitchen curtain was installed, we were not happy with how the final look came out compared to what we expected. Sam discussed this with us, and then agreed to make a new style curtain in order to give us something we wanted for our new home. In San Diego, this level of customer satisfaction is UNHEARD of, as most people will just charge you again for any changes. Not Sam, who truly believes that customer satisfaction is more important than making a sale!!!! The new curtain came this week, and is absolutely beautiful. We could not be more happy with our curtains in every single aspect, and will surely meet with Sam again for any drapery needs in the future. Dont miss out on the best choice, take the trip to Ashoo Fabrics and you will not be disappointed. read more

Sam did our entire house draperies. And did an EXCELLENT job. When my husband and I were picking the fabrics, I was so worried about the outcome and if those fabrics were the right ones. First of all, Sam spend so much time, explaining the process to both of us, assuring us that he will point out things that don't really match. Secondly, we went back and forth few times and changed the fabrics and Sam was so nice to modify our order as needed (before sending them to the factory). Third, he had a professional installer at our place to install everything over 2 weekends which worked very well with our schedule. Installer was just amazing and did such a fine job. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and anyone else who is looking for a professional and top of the line drapery service. read more

I had the worst service! Sam was so bad... I can't even tell you the whole of it. late, forgot swatches and in the end took the side panels for the livingroom, dining room and kitchen. The dining room being different fabric than the other two rooms. When he returned he had sewn all three drapes the same and returned my dining room side panels untouched!! So he essentially made an error he refused to admitting to.. I then asked why he had taken the panels then in the first place. He stood his ground insisting I was wrong and did not offer to change it for me. We fought and he left. he later then sent me another bill by email with an additional $150.00 added to the original quote. The original did not have tax, delivery charges and it was to include the headboard fabric... Unbelievable! No discount for sewing the wrong fabric... wow! I can only say never again and there was no work order to approve so I have no recourse! lesson for everyone. Get a drawing with measurements and fabric labeling. I will say however, that he sent out the drapes to a person that did a wonderful job quality wise. The order form was written in Spanish and got their company name wrong on order.. Ahoo instead of Ashoo. Buyer beware! Do not do it!!! read more
