I seriously cannot say enough nice things about the wonderful ladies in this shop! They have been so kind and helpful and have really helped me to love my machine (something I seriously didn't think was possible). They will do a wonderful job servicing your machine and teaching you all the ins and outs of your Bernina! I can't wait to go back and take more of their classes!

I made this tote bag! I love it so much. Lynn is an awesome instructor!

I took a class at Sew Hut and Lynn was our teacher. She's so awesome! Super patient. Inga also helped out with the class. She helps with teaching you how to use your own machine or they can lend you one for the class. Everyone there is great!

The lovely tote bag and coin purse I made during my classes at Sew Hut!

Love Sew Hut! I recently finished the Beginners Sewing Class here and am very pleased. My $70 bought me four, three-hour classes and one-on-one hands on instruction from Lynn and the other great Sew Hut employees. I came in with very little sewing knowledge and no sewing machine. I learned to shop for fabric, to read and sew from patterns, to install zippers, and so many other useful tips. I was able to practice on a user-friendly machine that I plan to buy in the near future. I learned so much in this class, I really can't say enough wonderful things about it. Lynn and the ladies (and Bryan) are extremely knowledgeable and patient people and such great teachers. I really enjoyed my afternoons at the store and plan to take more classes in the future.

Sew Hut is a wonderful place to learn the basics of sewing. They have everything you need in store OR you can opt to bring your own machine. I started the beginners class with absolutely NO experience. No idea how a sewing machine worked or what a bobbin was. A shame, I know =/ I am now into my 3rd class & starting my 2nd project. Lynne is a great teacher. Very knowledgable and works at each students own pace. I can confidently work a sewing machine, cut & follow patterns, and know the essential sewing terms. I can't wait to begin new projects =) The shop itself is small & cozy. They sell a variety of Bernina & Janome machines... I've been in 3 weeks in a row and they're still on sale! If you purchase your machine directly from them they include lessons & repairs. The store owner (I believe her name is Ingrid) always has a smile on her face and is so friendly. And the rumors are true... Garfield, the resident cat, is a sweetie pie! He's huge, easily 25 lbs! haha.

It is not the biggest store in the world. But I found waaay more fabrics I wanted to take home here than in any big box store I have been to. I thought the prices were good for the quality I was getting. I got some lovely woven cotton for nightshirts, some lace for my granddaughters dress, good Guttenberg thread, and a set of French needles and pins from a brand I had read about. The cliche of hugging the fabrics in the store because you love them so much is true here. I saw a 60's inspired bright silky print that made me want to sew a flowy caftan, move to Palm Springs, and throw a FABulous party. What more can I say?

The shop has a beautiful selection of apparel fabrics, with lots of tropical, fun, colorful options that feel perfect for flowy garments, alongside more neutral choices as well. I ended up purchasing a really lovely tropical viscose and an incredible deadstock Gucci bouclé that immediately spoke to me and it happened to be on sale, which made it even better. The owner was wonderful: warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to talk with. We chatted about the fabrics and brainstormed what I might sew with them, which made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend stopping by if you love sewing or beautiful fabric. It's a great shop with a thoughtfully curated selection, and I'm so glad I made it part of my trip.

I am NOT disappointed -- the variety they offer is incredible. The moment I walked in, the energy was amazing. I made it about halfway through the store when a man in a beautiful blue polo shirt approached me with a fan of SuperLotto tickets. He told me to choose one. I pointed to one, and he laughed and said, "It must be your first time in here. Take one for yourself." I honestly thought it was a magic trick He asked what brought me in, and when I mentioned it was for a kid's birthday party, he explained that everything is sold by weight. He handed me a basket and told me to fill up the container with the colored gems and rocks. So I did... plus more. I walked the aisles at least 7-8 times because I just couldn't decide -- everything was beautiful. I spent way more time in there than I planned to. It's a family‑owned business, and Shlomo is such a kindhearted man. He even offered us a Nutella dessert. The whole experience was warm, welcoming, and honestly unforgettable. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. I'm definitely coming back with my son so he can "dig" the place too. A true hidden gem. I picked up a few large gems, 20 geodes, a basketful of gems, heart shaped rose quartz, a cat bronze art. well worth it! I was drawn probably because he shares the same birthday as my best friend!
