Called for a tow on 1/15/26. Danny Shepherd came out to do the tow. He tried to jump the car, but…read moreaccidentally did it backwards and reversed the polarity and caused a blown fuse and scoring. I saw him reverse the cables after sparks and smoke came up to try the other way. Car was towed to Lexus at Fife and they confirmed the damage and that it would cost over 1k to fix. Called Waqas Butt who may be related to the owner Arif Butt who told me that the employee did nothing wrong and that sometimes sparks and smoke can happen when trying to jump a car. Also told me that the car had a battery issue already and that it wasn't their fault. Car was fixed at Lexus, they replaced the battery as it was under warranty but I was charged $1055.85 to fix the blown main fuse. Has been incredibly frustrating that despite proof, Secure Towing is unable to take responsibility for an error they made. I have already followed up with Lexus as they were contracted with Secure Towing to do their roadside assistance and sent all the photos and documents they requested. I'm not worried about recouping the money as it was so obvious that it was Secure Towing's error that I'm 100% going to get my money back. But it was extra time and energy wasted due to actions of a dishonest company. If they're going to lie about something so obvious, what else would they lie about? Scummy business, stay far far away.

What could have been a stressful late-night tow turned into a much more pleasant experience, and he and my husband chatted the whole way, making the long trip feel much shorter. Vehicle was delivered here by my insurance company for repairs after a minor collision. A month…read morelater they told me it was ready. The bumper they installed was not prepped at all before they painted it, it still had flashing from the injection molding process around the edges. The paint that was applied is wavy. The bumper is loose and there is a gap between the drivers side headlight and the bumper. The paint is already scuffed and worn through from the flexing under the headlight. They replaced the electric grill shutter but didn't know what they were doing so they contracted out the work to Airbag Services. Apparently Airbag Services doesn't know what they are doing either. We were told the vehicle was completed so we picked it up and pointed out the problems with the paint and loose bumper. The manager, Robert, couldn't be found so they sent out a service tech to go over our concerns. (By the way Robert was at lunch in his vehicle that was parked literally beside our vehicle. I even called his name and he looked up but wouldn't speak to us.) The service tech said that the bumper work was the "best they could do" and that Robert had already signed off on the repairs as being completed and satisfactory. We took pictures and videos of the problems and sent them into GEICO. In the mean time we picked up the vehicle and drove it home while waiting on GEICOs response. On the way home the Engine Auto Start/Stop function stopped working. Once home the Service Engine Soon Light came on and the vehicle will not start. The battery is not dead because all of the lights function and do not dim when the ignition switch is pressed. The car is being towed to a dealer tomorrow to figure out what they messed up in the electronics and then will going back into the shop again to get the bumper repaired. GEICO has been receptive and they are trying to remedy the situation. I just hope it doesn't have to go anywhere near Lakewood Auto Body ever again.
