Prices on menu are not up to date as of 6/14/26. I ordered 2 orders of fried shrimp ($7.95 each), paper wrapped chicken ($7.25) and house pan fried noodle ($11.25). I went in expecting to pay $34.40 (without tax). So I was taken aback when she said my total was $56.95. I noticed a sign on the wall that said due to increase of costs, ALL items will have $3.50 added. Okay that's a lot but everything is going up so I get it. But then when I asked for a menu to take home she wrote $3.75 on the front and said that's how much is added to each item so for me to not wonder why my total was different. Still seemed higher than it should be so I did the math and my total at $3.75 added to each item should have been $49.40 and then I added the 8.25% tax rate so new total $53.48. So I was charged an extra $3.47 on top of the additional $3.75 per item. I know it seems petty to complain but that's shady. Additionally, the food was the most greasiest Chinese food I have ever had in my life. The lady working the front was so sweet though so I gave 2 stars. read more

This place is definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant when we go back to visit our hometown. This cute little Restaurant has amazing food and great service. No matter how long it's been soon as you walk in they remember who you are. Everything from the noodles to the pan fried noodles to the egg rolls the general Taos , chicken or whatever you get is amazing. The sweet and sour sauce is some of the best I have had. We stopped by after dropping off a relative at the train station and were impressed. The waitress was so busy, she was practically a blur but it was easy to get her attention and she always seemed happy that we were there. We all got combos. Nearly every dish tasted slightly different than what I am used to but the food was fresh and tasty. We didn't try one but the sizzling dishes were very popular and looked impressive. I looked at the reviews and really thought the food was going to be good. I ordered this and some orange chicken over pan fried noodles for my son. Orange chicken was horrible, soggy, the flavor wasn't good at all. The noodles were drenched in that weird sauce, and the portions on both plates were like half way full. I paid $32 for them and the noodle dish I got, everything was bad the meat was rubbery and overcooked lacked flavor. I'm so disappointed in everything. read more

Bad Service and Bad Egg Foo Young. My family took me out for a birthday treat to this restaurant as we have gone here many times before. My husband found a hair on the fried rice, but overlooked that part. He just removed it and we continued to eat. Then, I ate one of my favorite dish "egg foo young" and it was rubbery. We ordered alot of food and tried to be discreet about the egg foo young when I told the server May that its rubbery, and they refused to change it so I said I wasn't paying for it. Tried to talk to the owner (cook) and he walk away when I was telling him. My husband still paid for the egg foo young and was really upsetting that the owner refused to listen to his customer and was very rude about it. They have amazing food. But the restaurants is a little dirty (floors, clutter, bathrooms).

Perhaps the one thing that is still good is the dinner soup (egg drop soup). They're not like they used to be. Have tried sweet and sour chicken, firecracker hunan chicken, General Tso's tofu, chow mein, egg rolls, and fried rice. The chicken was often dry, flavorless, and skimped on the sauce... Had actually gone to the restaurant early and the sweet and sour chicken tasted old. Chow mein was akin to spaghetti. Not even joking about that one. The restaurant looks like it always had with its interior decorating and some of the waiting staff have been there for years. Maybe they got news cooks, but its food quality is significantly worse since reopening. read more

Asia Garden is fine place to eat at. I mostly come here for the lunch buffet which only offers freshly prepared food in my experience and I am a stickler for freshness which is why I usually avoid buffets. Everything I've ordered off the menu has been good, I honestly can't say anything negative about this establishment. It's small but don't let the small size fool you, because it's big on flavor. For anyone wondering why this isn't 5 stars, that is because 5 stars is for perfection like you might find at a high dollar 5 star restaurant and no matter how good a chain restaurant is it can never complete with the quality of a 5 star restaurant. So to make sure we are not giving every place 5 stars just because we may enjoy the establishment, 5 stars reserved for for the best measurable experience that one can imagine. This restaurant is located in/near the old China town in Hanford. Imperial dynasty around the corner was a historical gem for the entire Central Valley sadly it's gone but this place seems to have kept the spirit alive around there. The waitress was extremely friendly and polite as well as attentive. The food was fast hot and absolutely delicious. We both got a standard combo plate and everything surpassed expectations, beautiful smoky fried rice and delicious chow mein w fresh squash.
