I've been to many Goodwill stores from Hawaii to Boston and none are as organized and big like this…read moreone. They had great friendly staff and Tammy went out of her way to make sure we found what we were looking for at the Manchester New Hampshire Goodwill store. There was plenty of parking and great hours. Most days are 9am to 6pm. They have a great variety of product for great value. I'll be back. I hope you find time to visit, because a dollar saved is a dollar earned.

The prices are insane now! What are they thinking asking $5 for used, old stained, kid's clothing?…read moreWomen's clothing is also overpriced with a used blouse costing at least $7. I went to buy extra dishes for Thanksgiving but each plate or bowl, no matter its condition, was $3. I found out that day, Hobby Lobby has the SAME PRICES for NEW items! A set of four beautiful bowls, $12. Tried Home Goods and again, $12 for four plates. We can do better at any other store, even non clearance items, and they are new. Really Not-so-goodwill, you can do better. And honestly, what are you doing with all the money from customers who "round up". Jeeesh do you get to keep the interest you make on all that money. Quote; "Financial Impact of Roundup Donations Growth in Donations: Roundup donations have significantly increased, with total contributions rising from $389 million to $749 million over the past decade." Really?! Who is benefiting? The article goes on to say goodwill does not specify where the donated funds are directed.

On 02/14/2026, I brought a bag of items in to sell. When I came back to see which items had been…read moreselected, I asked simple questions about what was being taken. The employee with dark hair and a nose piercing was mumbling, and I could barely hear her. When I asked her to repeat herself, she seemed annoyed. She allowed me to look through the bin of items they planned to take, but again I couldn't hear her clearly. She said not to mess up the order, but because she was speaking so quietly and unclearly, I started picking up the items I was agreeing to sell before signing off. She rolled her eyes, was passive-aggressive, and repeated that I shouldn't "mess up the order." I've been to many locations before, but this was the rudest and most unprofessional service I've experienced.

Staff is less than personable / friendly. Brought in maybe…read more5 items for them to look at , took two and a half hours and they offered me $3 for one item that was tagged $110 and brand new. Literally a Nike zip up they could've/ would have sold for $40-60 no doubt. The girl told me they didn't take SHEIN at any store; when half of their collection as well as the Portsmouth locations collection is all SHEIN items. The difference in prices is also INSANE. I got brand name boots in Portsmouth that retailed for $200 for $14. This Plato's is selling nasty gross dirty shoes for $60 with Amazon branding. I genuinely wouldn't waste your time or money coming to this location at all. They really pick and choose here and the staff is just not worth dealing with. I've met 15 year olds in customer service with more tact.
