2. Singapore Rice Noodle
Ezra B.

I really enjoyed the Singapore noodles, they had a exotic spicy flavor. Vegetables were fresh and added a nice crisp. I also had the gyoza. The dumplings were tasty, but nothing set them apart of other gyoza I've had. The gyoza sauce was nice and tangy. Really good service at this family run business. My gf had a lot of fun with the dinner combo, and enjoyed it.

A little gem in Morgantown. Asian Bistro has good food, nice decoration and atmosphere, and the most important, it serves bubble tea! My Order: Beef Yaki Soba Original Bubble Tea

Amazing Asian food here with variety of choices. The Jajamyeon was not really good but others were tasty.

Beef pho

This place has really large portion sizes, but it is not quite authentic. The beef pho was a bit bland but there were many slices of beef (not eye round, though) and beef meatballs. I didn't get jalapeño or basil either but the dish they used was pretty. As for the salt & pepper chicken, the portion was large but the chicken slices were so thin, it was like eating only the batter. Nevertheless, the batter was crispy and the seasoning was quite flavorful.

As most of y'all know, I've been doing a 50 states challenge involving the famous Vietnamese noodle soup dish called Pho. On my latest travel adventure, I ended up driving through West Virginia on my way to Maryland & made a stop. West Virginia, as you may imagine, does not have much Vietnamese restaurants. On the contrary, per the yelp app, there is only two restaurants in the entire state that is either Asian fusion, that offers Pho on its menu or actual Vietnamese. One of these is in Martinsburg and the other one is here in Morgantown. Morgantown was on my way from Pittsburgh to La Vale, Maryland, so I made a stop here for dinner on a Friday night. Even in West Virginia, Morgantown is one of West Virginia's larger cities, but still felt very rural. I had Asian Bistro bookmarked for a while on my yelp app, so it was nice to drive up here and get my Pho on for West Virginia. I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was very aesthetically pleasing and very nice. It was very clean and there was a few diners dining there when I arrived there at around 6:30pm on a Friday night. The overall experience here was that of a typical Vietnamese restaurant, although it felt like being in a Chinese restaurant setting. I guess wherever you go, you can't escape the decorum you know all too well growing up Chinese. Asian Bistro is located at 3006 Northpointe Plaza here in Morgantown, WV. They have other offerings that is of Chinese in nature and they also offer Japanese sushi as well. Yup, Asian fusion at its best, folks. Too bad there's no Thai food here. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash, so that's always a great thing for anyone and everyone craving whatever cuisine they like at any given time. For me, it was for my 50 states Pho challenge and I was craving it ever since getting off the Delta airlines plane in Pittsburgh. Just can't get enough! Since Asian Bistro is located in a strip mall cluster complex, it had a private parking lot. Plenty of spaces here, even on a Friday night. Then again, It's West Virginia. Lol I parked right up in front and walked right in. It was nice to be able to get out of the car and sit down to dinner - after driving for an hour and a half. I did like the ambiance here. Quiet and reserved, casual yet, had a certain touch that made it feel homely. The service here was very much appreciated and friendly. They showed me to my table promptly. There wasn't much activity here, so it was nice dining quietly, as opposed to a loud Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia or Chicago, for example. This dining experience lasted about 1/2 hour at most, as I had to get back on the road after having Pho for dinner. They gave adequate bean sprouts and the basil was fresh. I did enjoy the deliciousness of the pho broth and the gene subsistence of everything gelling together was quite nice and refreshing. The meal was nice and satisfying for sure. I would recommend this place to y'all if you were craving Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of West Virginia. It's not an easy place to get to, but if you were traveling through and want a good place to stop and eat, come hang out here at Asian Bistro and you will have a good time here. 4.0 stars for the service and decor. 4.0 stars for the Pho. Pepper steak.

Clean, fresh ingredients with a wide variety ensuring something for everyone: those are my quick takeaways. And, if I had ordered just a bit differently, it may have even been a 4-star, but the dish that I ordered was not that great. On the positive, the other 2 dishes that came to the table were solid, so I just made a poor Pepper Steak decision. I ordered the Pepper Steak lunch special, which is a good value for around $6. They don't offer brown rice, sadly, so I stuck with the white rice forgoing the $2 upcharge for fried rice. The pepper steak relied mostly on a thick, brown sauce for flavor, not a seasoned wok or lots of fresh pepper. It wasn't spicy. It was more of a Beef in Brown Sauce. The best I can say is that the green and red peppers were fresh and plentiful. Maybe it was supposed to be Bell Pepper Steak? I sampled my husband's red curry and mother-in-law's chicken katsu, and I would probably order those again! (Ugh, I hate it when I order poorly.) We did not sample any sushi. Prices are a bit more than you might expect, but the serving sizes reflect such.

This is my jam....after trying about 1/2 a dozen sushi or chinese food places here in Morgantown. Service was fast, food was good, price is on point and they have a rather large menu of different cuisines to choose from. They do deliver as well.

Grand China Buffet Sushi & Grill. Clarksburg, WV. March, 2026. Craving Chinese food, four of us…read more(all adults) decided to check out the Grand China Buffet. It turned out to be a great choice for our group as we have very distinct eating preferences. The basis of MY meal was primarily the Mongolian grill, wherein you choose your own raw ingredients (meats, shrimp/crab, vegetables), noodles, and sauces, that are then freshly stir-fried on a gigantic grill by the grill-master. There was a good selection of meats and seafood, but I would've liked to have seen a wider variety of vegetables -- to include, for instance, carrots, water chestnuts, spinach, mini corn ears, etc. My selection was stir-fried perfectly (with meats well-cooked and veggies crisp tender), and the amount of sauce complemented rather than over-whelmed the dish. A second member of our group piled up, again and again, on seafood choices (and frog legs!) from the numerous buffet stations. The two other members of our party sampled a bit of everything, except the American choices. Grand China offers a large selection of Chinese entrees, noodles/rice, salads, sushi, the Mongolian grill, soups, some dim sum, desserts, and even ice cream. Did we love every dish? No. Did every member of our group find food choices that they enjoyed? A resounding yes. The restaurant is open 7 days per week, and was clean and busy. There's free and plentiful parking. The hostess and waitress were efficient and friendly enough. The dinner buffet ($14.99 per adult, or $1.20/year for kids aged 4-10 years) was a great value given the variety of food choices and the fact that it is all-you-can-eat. One recommendation to the restaurant. Please add sesame balls!
