This place is so scrumptious! The sweet and sour chicken was super crunchy, and the beef with broccoli was beautiful. We made a large order and they were super sweet and gave us some sugar donuts for free with a little thanks on the box. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been to Asian Bowl countless times over the past 5 years. It's your classic takeout American Chinese food, but until recently, that was done decently well. Portion size is huge for the price, especially the dinner combos. We usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. My husband enjoys the general tso's chicken while I tend to order the chicken in garlic sauce. They are good about substituting vegetables free of charge (ie broccoli instead of green pepper). I would have given 4 stars but the food we ordered a few weeks back was pretty disgusting. Everything was bland and it just didn't look right. Don't even get me started on the taste. The general tso's was the only edible meal. Idk if the chef was out and they had a temp, but ick! So, we will give it one more try given the proximity to our house but that's it! read more

I eat here weekly for lunch sometimes multiple times per week and the food is always great. Their chef specialties are incredible but their Pad Thai is by far the best I've had anywhere. Can't eat at the restaurant but worth the time to bring home. The family that own it take great pride in their business and their service shows it. I use to eat here years ago. Was in town and decided to eat here. Looks like they have new people from years ago. I normally don't eat when certain groups of people are in the kitchen but I am use to eating here from back in the day. This was a big mistake. My wife and I often crave takeout from this little restaurant. Their food is delicious. Among our favorite dishes are the chung king chili chicken, beef chow fun, fried chicken wings and wontons in chili oil. If you can't handle spicy foods, I recommend getting their mild. Very, very good food coming out of this tiny take out place. The egg rolls were tasty, properly cooked, not burnt and not greasy. The pan-fried dumplings are actually properly pan-fried! They haven't taken the horrible short-cut so many others have of deep frying them. The dipping sauce is great too. Kung pao chicken was great too. Normally just chicken and peanuts here, I requested adding mushrooms and water chestnuts, and they got the spiciness level correct (so many minnesota places refuse to add any heat at all, even when you request it, or go overboard into inedible territory. This could have been made on the east coast, it was great)! It's far enough away that the egg rolls and dumplings got a little soggy from the steam, so next time, we'll plan to eat the egg rolls and dumplings in the car, and the meals stay plenty hot for the drive home. read more

The standby orange chicken is particularly tasty and spicy. Chung King Chili Chicken is another flavorful dish with a kick. For those looking for more "north shore spicy" (a.k.a. mild) dishes, I recommend the chow fun noodles as flavorful and nonspicy. Pad Thai is good as well, and can be ordered nonspicy. I live five minutes from Asian Bowl, so when I ordered today I was not expecting for my food to arrive over a hour latter and for it to be room temperature. If the food would have tasted good I would not have cared as much about the temperature of the food and how long the delivery took. I took just two bites of my Pad Thai and both bites tasted like I had just bit into a Soggy grease fatty peace of KFC. I did not finish my meal. Asian Bowl left me hungry and disappointed. We went to asian Bowl to get a couple items for a party. We go the typical cream cheese wonton and fried chicken wing tray. It was a hit at the party. 4 stars instead of 3 because they delivered FAST. I swear it was no more than 15 minutes after we hung up the phone that our doorbell rang, and our piping hot food arrived! We had an order of cream cheese won-tons, sesame chicken, and Mongolian beef. I can't say that there's something to set this lil' panda ahead of the pack, and neither can my boo. She wasn't jumping for joy after each bite, so I'd say we're pretty much "middlin' " on the tasty-factor. I'd compare this to an Eddie Cheng. There was good value as far as the "price per pound" factor, and none of the food was "ucky". I think if we order delivery again we will call Asian Bowl next time. By the time we call to order... we're already hungry so the sooner the hunger pangs are quenched the better.
