After attending a day long training program in the lodge meeting rooms, I spent the night at the…read morelodge and needed dinner, but didn't want to drive away from the property. The restaurant Grayson's Landing is in the lower level of the lodge with views of the lake below and provides food for its captive audience. On Saturday night only the buffet is open, and one cannot order from the menu, with options of only the salad/cold food bar, or including the hot bar and desserts, including soft serve ice cream, for an additional price. But for those hungry from a day on the water of the lake or pool, visits to the buffet are unlimited. The food is standard buffet fare and fit the bill for me starting with a nice salad, followed with a thin sliced boneless pork chop, some vegetables, a roll, and dessert. The selection of everything could have been more extensive but was satisfactory. A server is assigned to each table, and they do a good job keeping drinks filled and dirty dishes removed. If I stayed for more than a couple of nights, I'd look for other options, but I was well fed for the night I stayed in the lodge.
