When we heard about a new Asian Cafe in Hattiesburg, we naturally had to visit and grab some bubble tea. We ordered the Taro bubble tea with tapioca and the avocado with rainbow jelly. The bubble tea tasted like powder when we drank it which was surprising when many people stated it was amazing. The rainbow jelly tasted like plastic with no flavour and were hard like plastic. The location is pretty good and the interior is a little modern and very clean. Their prices are fair and service was good. My boyfriend and I ordered the pho, poke bowl, and a Thai tea. The Thai tea was not good. It didn't taste like Thai tea at all... a previous review mentioned that their bubble tea is powdery tasting and they are right. It's like powdery-sweet water. Their pho wasn't bad. A little herbal-y which overpowered the broth a little, but it was still good. The poke bowl was good too. The portion amount is ridiculous. The salmon "chunks" are the size of a dime, and the scooper is just as small. If I am adding crab salad and seaweed salad for an extra price, I would expect a little bit more, but no, just pinch, literally! Surprisingly, they give you half of an avocado. The owner hovers over the young worker to ensure he is serving the smallest amount of everything besides the rice. The food is good, but the price is overdoing it when the portions are not. The woman, which I'm sure is the owner's wife, is rude. She is even rude over the phone. It doesn't bother me, but I'm just letting future customers know. The food is less than desirable, too over priced, selling FAKE bubble tea for much too high a price. One of the owner's wives is extremely hateful towards American customers. On numerous occasions she has purposefully waited on customers that arrive after us--especially if they are of Asian descent. I get the feeling that they don't like Americans. I went to Asian Cafe for a bowl of pho and while I was eating, I bit down on something hard. My tooth immediately began throbbing. I pulled the object out of my mouth and was horrified to find a shred of metal that appeared to be from a sos cleaning pad in my bowl of pho. I told a worker and a manager never approached me to apologize or offer compensation/refund. I hope I did not accidentally ingest any other sos pad metallic shreds. I would not recommend this restaurant. Asian Cafe's cleanliness standards are below par. Health department needs to shut down or investigate. read more

There were pieces of Bok Choy a hard boiled egg and broth. Noticeably missing were the fish cake and seaweed as pictured on their menu. I asked the server about missing ingredients, she apologized and said they removed from menu since most people order without it. I probably wouldn't have ordered it if I'd known.
