What a great find on the coast! Asian Paradise is nestled right in the heart of Pass Christian with easy street parking or the convenience of two close parking lots. My teen daughter and I have eaten here twice recently. The first time was at the urging of her eye doctor who has an office just minutes away. So happy we tried it! The General Tsao, Orange, and Sweet & Sour chicken and shrimp dishes were delicious! I'm able to grab a side Ginger salad for myself while my daughter can have miso soup as an app. Portions are HUGE. Meals are easily split among two or three people. The rice is top notch and all is cooked fresh. We will be back, and back, and back again. Quick service, delicious food, great location.

Food was very good and portions were large. Our server did a nice job of being attentive to our needs. We'll definitely be back.

At Quickly they have a huge selection of every flavor instant-ramen/ramyun you could think of. The only ONE negative thing is I couldn't find any instant tteokbokki packs (it's my favorite snack food, legitimately). They also have a huge selection in their ice cream shop, korean corn dogs (do I need to mention I'm drooling again?), and abilities to make drinks. I got a red bull infused mixed drink and it was fab. They also cute kawaii toys for purchase in the store side. That brings me to the claw kingdom. WILD. I felt like I transported to Japan fr. I worked so hard and eventually won a little hello kitty charm toy and a friggin hedgehog stuffy. I don't want to talk about how much money I spent on tokens, it's irrelevant. Hahaha. Anyway, yall go check out Quickly, Hero Claw Kingdom, and Chamay. It's super cool. I'm rating a 4/5 because out of the 100+ instant packs of food, not ONE tteokbokki was found.

They import special snacking items like Korean turtle chips and specialty fruit ice cream bars. They have an expansive boba bar and much more. The people who work there are not especially talkative or engaging so don't expect much in explanations of dishes. And as the day progresses the cleanliness takes a dive until the next day. Give it a shot but I'd order to go and enjoy at home.

It's just that the whole place seems neglected. For starters, the outside is dark and there was high unkept grass and some trash in the parking lot. The whole entrance needs some kind of makeover because it is not inviting. I found myself carefully looking around while going back to my car because of the dark woods behind the building. Inside isn't much better. It was stuffy and the menus were sticky and falling apart. They also have those kind of cheap booths where you can feel every movement of the person behind you. People tend to flop into them and can literally knock the food off your fork if you're mid-bite. My wife and I shared some crab rangoons, which were quite large and had a nice crunch plus a decent amount of filling. They just came late when they should have been an appetizer. I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi which was great and I brought about 1/3 of it home. You get plenty of meat and veggies with it for twenty bucks. My wife had just the chicken hibachi which was five dollars less. We both got eggdrop soup and it is always good. We also ordered a sushi roll and they have a couple dozen specialties that are very good. They make fat rolls covered with toppings and really know what they are doing. Ours had shrimp, crawfish, and spicy tuna for about fifteen dollars, which is pretty normal pricing. I like the food here but they really could make more of an effort. Our server was overwhelmed and we still tipped well despite some mistakes. It baffles me that they have no social media presence besides some pages that haven't been updated since the Obama administration.

Don't try to argue with me unless you have eaten at almost every sushi restaurant around the coast like I have. The freshest ingredients and perfectly prepared rolls around. We will start with it's the burning roll. Two kinds of tuna and absolutely stunning flavors. Then to the volcano, pieces were pretty big size but the flavor of the ingredients worked so well together, topped with salmon, tuna and avocado. Man is was 100/10. The filet mignon roll, came out with the thin sliced steak still hot. So good we ordered 2 along with the burning roll 2 were ordered. Of course we had the gyoza, fried rice and egg drop soup all came out fresh or very well made. The best part was the server I believe his name was Michael very helpful, and attentive to the restaurant needs and everybody in there. I'm closing I will say I was a see wee roll person 2 or 3 times a month and they just lost a customer to Mizu.

Check in, once there are enough people for a table you get seated around a large griddle, drinks, soup, salad ... then the chef comes and entertains you while he cooks your meal. The soup options were egg drop and miso - I chose egg drop. I give it 4.5. Salad cake with ranch or ginger, I chose ranch. It was fine - nothing wrong with it, it was just a time filler. Our chef was very entertaining. He engaged each person at the table, figured out how to bring the playfulness out in everyone, and had the three separate groups interacting with each other and cheering each other and him on. It had the usual hibachi fun with dancing spatulas, spinning eggs, and an onion volcano. He also juggled eggs - with his hands, with the spatula, and with his hands and the spatula. Lots of pretend spills, and some good spatula work sticking out rice, meat, etc and bringing it back. I had the chicken. It was good - pretty much like every hibachi chicken ever. The fried rice was tasty. He also made noodles for everyone, which I don't recall at other places. I tried steak - it was a 5/5 and I'll have it next time. Shrimp were okay, but not as good as steak or chicken. Lots of mixed veggies - also very good. Servings were huge! We all had half an order left over. Service was better than good, and two birthday girls got happy birthday songs (with drums and a giant ice cream sundae)! Way better than expected and fairly priced. I'll be back!
