I think most of their business comes from drive-through and takeout orders; which is evidenced by the dirty and unmaintained bathrooms. I've only ever used the drive-thru here, never the dining room, but I drive from the east side of Morristown to get their food. Asian Express always has a special listed on their roadside marquee for $4.99. It used to be sesame chicken but it's been orange chicken for the last year or so, which is fine. They're both delicious. The special comes with a generous serving of fried rice (or white rice if you ask for it), a huge serving of the advertised special, and an egg roll. It's enough food for two people or enough for one person to have at least two meals. Around lunch time, let's say 11:00 'til 1:00, the wait in the drive-thru for the special is short because they do such a brisk business they're constantly making it due to its demand. If you should happen to stop by mid-afternoon, as I frequently do, the wait is longer because they're making your tasty meal fresh for you. It's definitely worth the wait! I've also ordered other items besides the special (beef and broccoli, and shrimp chow mein, are a couple of examples). Only one time was I disappointed in the quality of an item that I received and that was an egg roll, not the main meal. It was just past prime crispiness by the time I got home. As mentioned, I drive from the east side of town (past other Asian restaurants) to get food here. I plan my errands so that it's my last stop on that side of town and I can drive straight home to enjoy my food.
