Good little hibachi restaurant. This is the perfect pit stop if you want a fast hibachi style meal while near the outlet malls. You'll end up with a heaping pile of meat, rice, and veggies. Consistently delicious and a decent value for the money.

I love vegetarian sushi and this did not disappoint. Nice size roll for lunch- not very busy this particular day in April, which was great. Very nice customer service. Thank you!

Veggie Spring Roll - 4/10 90% oil & some crunchy outer layer. Dipping in soya sauce sorta helped. Wouldn't get this again.

It's..MEH. Not my first choice, but didn't want to drive 45 mins to knox, this was our only option in this small town. Ordered to-go, and the portions were small. Luckily, we ordered the same flavor sushi and it was all placed in one container. *Reminder Note: Ask them to put different sushi in separate container if one is vegetarian & other isn't, or have allergen or religious beliefs. Service was somewhat quick and bit busy, as it was dinner time. Quite surprised, there was no dessert option. It was okay for me and would come back for sushi. 8.5/10 Me and my fiancé had a quick lunch there today and got 4 rolls which was around $56 dollars. Which in my opinion isn't a terrible price nowadays if you want some sushi. We got the super crunchy roll, pigeon forge roll, shrimp tempura and a Philly. All were great, but I definitely recommend the Super crunchy roll!! The place was very clean and well kept. But, it was rather chilly so bring a light jacket if you freeze easy! The service was very nice and really quick, took around 15 minutes for everything to come out and they ask if you would like your sushi to be on a separate plate or all together. I will say the only thing I would like would be more sushi options! Other than that, if you're in the Smokeys for vacation or if you are a resident. This place is a great sushi option if you are feeling it!

Nice Japanese fast food restaurant. Fresh Sushi, Teriyaki and Hibachi dishes are also very tasty. Highly recommend.

Such a hidden gem! We came here on the weekend and it wasn't too busy. The staff was so friendly and the food was so fresh. The portions are huge! It's funny because this place doesn't have a waiter/waitress because it is almost like fast food but it's not fast food? It's like fast hibachi. The food comes on real plates lol. Presentation is on point and the yum yum dipping sauce was great with the meats. We would have come back again if we were in town longer.

Too busy, not worth the hype. Loud and noisy. Tried sushi Gatlinburg and Nagano, and hibachi steak and shrimp.

Parking is tight. 2:30 Sunday afternoon and there is a line. It's dark. It's old. It's cramped. It's packed. Pay as you enter at some booth that looks like a fortune teller would be sitting in it. If the fortune teller was indeed there- they would say you are about to be forever changed. We paid- got seated- and headed to the buffet. Holy guacamole Batman. It's tight and crowded. They had prawns or maybe crawfish- missus loved them. They had shrimp. Fried fish looked rough. They had everything you can find in a Chinese food place. They had miles of noodles, piles of egg rolls and dumplings and spring rolls. They had ice cream and cookies and desserts. They had cakes and puddings and yes- a salad or three. If you got to a buffet and eat a salad- you got issues I can't fix. The final test: missus says she didn't see red jello. It isn't a real buffet without the red jello. I went looking. Yes- three kinds of jello. How did everything taste? Missus liked it all and really liked the potatoes ( why, just, why.) I thought the place was absolutely terrific. Old and a bit tired but the food was so very good. The service from our waits was good. She would say to people "I see you" and smile as she took the empty plates or refilled glasses. We paid $12.99 per person, plus $3 per person for drinks. With tip is was like $38 ish bucks. I can spend that at Freddy's or Burger King for two people. So- if ya haven't been there, try it. If ya have- you hopefully had the same great experience we did. Ive included a photo of the jello, just to prove how authentic Sakura is.

I had been here once before and the food was so good I had to come back. By the time I got to my hotel, I was running late for my reservation and got a call from The Appalachian checking if I was going to make my reservation. I let them know that I had just arrived at my hotel, traffic on I-81 held me up and I was going to order an Uber as soon as I was off the phone. Coming from DC, I expected an Uber would be at the hotel door steps within a few minutes, I was wrong. I was then crushed by the realization that I was wrong, I wasn't gonna make my reservation. I knew that on a week night The Appalachian's kitchen closed at 9. Ride.I called them back to let them know of the situation and expressed my desire to have their Wood Fired Lamb. The Gentleman that answered the phone simply responded "it's going on the grill now, we will see you when you get here. F-ing amazing, turned my stressful and painful day completely around. Uber'ed over, walked into an empty restaurant on a weekday where I would guess dinner customers might have been light and they held the staff for little old me. The Appalachian had just moved to the top of my list for I mean best restaurant I've ever been to in my life. Unfortunately, for them, my favorite restaurant of all time in the United States shut down when I was in my early 20's so they'll never get a chance to compete.. But they just bumped Alligator Soul in Savannah Georgia to number two still in existence in these great United States. The Appalachian is a must dine at least once in your life, top tear resistant. Out F-ing standing, must F-ing dine at some point in your life. To the staff of The Appalachian, thank you for taking care of me went you could have told me that you close at 9pm. First off, the restaurant is truly stunning! Service was excellent too. We started with the Fried Chicken Skins. My friend had heard good things for a friend, but we weren't particularly impressed. I had the Hanger Steak as my entree, and it was delicious. I especially loved the potato dumplings! My friend had the Kansas City Strip, cooked medium rare, with broccolini. Initially, the steak was overcooked, but the staff quickly cooked another steak and made it right. Overall a really good experience! Downtown Sevierville has really evolved, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring after dinner.

We had the fish and chips, lobster bao buns, grilled Caesar salad with salmon, and a lobster roll with Nashville hot seasoning. The bao buns were small but packed with flavor.
