The sushi was all about tempura crunchies and various mayo based sauces. For example spicy tuna obviously has hopefully kewpie mayo in it......but then you add crunchies and straight mayo that is larger than the fish Hot and sour soup great, and I have no issues Chinese food.....don't eat the sushi!!! read more

Some of the best Asian food I've ever had! The variety is amazing! So many things to choose from, and anytime you try something different, it's always great. The indoor seating area is so calming and just pleasant to sit in. The seats are comfortable, and the paintings are nice to look at while you're waiting for your food. The service was so fast, too. As little as 2 minutes had gone by since I ordered and they already had my soup out! It was nice and hot, too. The lady serving me was super nice, and she checked up on me multiple times to make sure I didn't want anything else. Ever since asian house moved buildings, they have went downhill. Besides the fact that the restaurant has absolutely no asian appeal to it anymore, and the food is completely change. I ordered a shrimp teriyaki, there was no teriyaki sauce and only four pieces of shrimp in the entire plate! This is the second time i've ordered and got the same result . Asian house just lost me, i was a loyal customer for years. Now i'm taking my service elsewhere. The ambience is completely lousy now. Country music? Really bummed out on this one. They brought out different parts of our entrees 10 total minutes apart. They couldn't time anything right. My food came (partially) way before my husband. She got my order wrong. My husband's sushi was not good (my California roll was disgusting) and she never refilled our drinks even when they were empty and sitting on the edge. Never checked back on us and was impossible to flag down when we were trying to find out where our food was. And there were only 3 other tables. Let me first say that I do not want anyone to misinterpret this rating as a negative impact on this restaurant. I hope to change this review to a three or even four star rating. That said, I need to be very honest with hopes ownership may see and address room for positive change. This place is a primary example of what I call a fuel stop. I was seated politely by the nice server but was not brought any water which should be pretty standard upon being seated in any restaurant. There was a delay In ordering which I totally understand but then I started looking around. There is no identity. The place lacks ambiance, sets no mood or tone for the experience and just looks like a jumble of stuff. Seats are worn and torn and the decor is just mismatched. Also, the bathrooms needed a little love. My tea came to the table and I gave it a while to rest. It smelled nice and reinvigorating but I still wanted a glass of water. When the food came I was so happy to eat something cause I felt like I was about to pass out but after a handful of the noodles I started thinking, "Eek, I'd rather be eating a microwave TV dinner." Apologies chef but the food lacked any flavor whatsoever, the portion was enough for three people and the presentation left much to be desired. Now I just wanted a sip of my tea which after 20 minutes still manage to scald my tongue. I politely asked for a Sprite to go to help cool my mouth and settle my stomach. The server was very sweet and I got a unique fortune cookie which left my leaving on a positive note. However, sitting down in a restaurant should be an experience one enjoys from beginning to end and this felt more like I was a car that pulled into a random station to fill up the tank. This is a nice small Asian restaurant in town. It's very clean and has a nice Asian atmosphere. They have some very good choices to choose from on their menu, they also have a sushi bar. I was there for lunch and I chose the chicken and vegetables with fried rice you also got a choice of an egg roll or soup and I had the wonton soup, which really tasted great. This place has the best Asian food I've had in a long time, and when my oldest is in physical therapy at Benchmark a few doors down, I walk down here and get something to-go. I liked the fact that the lady at the counter suggested that I order from the lunch menu, and say no rice in order to get more General Tso's chicken (so flippin' yummy!!!) she suggested me order the soup instead of an egg roll, and then pay for an egg roll on the side to get more food at a cheaper price. We really like this place. The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are friendly. However, we usually order take out (love their online ordering system!). Their prices are great and the portions are HUGE! They have lots of vegan options but some of our favorites are the hibachi vegetables, hibachi tofu, and sesame tofu. We also get an extra side of broccoli because it's so good! The fried rice has egg so we just get it with white rice. Although, we ask for the food to be extra spicy, it is still very mild. No biggie as we just add some extra chili flakes when we get home. Have we had better Chinese food? Definitely! Is it authentic Chinese food? Definitely not! But this NY style Chinese is pretty tasty, has lots of veg options, and you can't beat the prices! read more
