My wife and I was traveling along the interstate and was craving some good Chinese food when we came across Emma's. It was a little ways off the interstate but not too bad of a drive. The restaurant was very clean " the bathroom " as well. The service was top notch with our appetizers and drinks arriving fast. The waitress was very friendly and the food was great. I do have to say that the dishes we ordered were not like the Chinese we had eaten before, the flavor profiles are different but very good. The portions were pretty good size compared to the price. Supper for three at rush time. Maple parking as this is an old Pizza Hut building. Seated quickly by very friendly hostess. Restaurant was full but flow was good and noise level was good also. Ecstatic to find out they had Thai Tea that isn't on the menu. Very good. Menu covers a broad range of Asian styles from Bento Box's to Thai dishes. We had two Bento boxes and I had a Shrimp Pad Thai and then we shared two rolls. Plenty of food left over to take home for lunch and snacks. All very good with typical large portions. Pad Thai had a little bite as it should so that is good. Good time and a great place. read more

I ordered wonton soup, potstickers, a Philadelphia roll and another roll but said I didn't want tempura shrimp just regular shrimp so they charged me two dollars extra saying that I had to pay more because they would put more shrimp. There was literally two shrimp in the whole roll so I don't understand why I would have to pay extra because I don't want it fried. The Philadelphia roll was all right in the other role was OK. Can't expect much from Sushi in a landlocked state. The wonton soup was kind of disappointing because there was literally no meat there was nothing inside of the noodle but the broth was good. I really really loved the potstickers those were super addicting so I'll come back for the potstickers alone. This is a second review. Took the lovely wife to eat tonight. Went back to Emma's. They've remodeled a bit. It was busy. The young lady that waited on us was a delight- she laughed and spoke to us like we are people. She worked hard and did a great job. I had a happy box which is a nice way to say a bit of everything. It was good. The missus had sushi, enjoyed it. We took some of our food home. Def will eat it tomorrow. Two things here: the waitress was wonderful. The remodel was nice. Superior service! Wow! This place runs like a well-oiled machine. We were there after church on Sunday and they were slammed but the staff was top notch and so friendly. We got two "happy boxes" and they were good. I had General Tso and my hubby had Steak with Scallops (instead of shrimp). Total, with an extra sushi roll and 2 drinks was under 40 bucks with tax. Hubby called Christmas Eve, he went to work for a few hours, and said how about Emma's I said hell yes! I had him get 2 orders of gingered chicken, mongolian beef, veggie fried rice steamed rice and 1/2 gal wonton soup. Delish... Hubby made it home just before the deep freeze hit. Thank goodness...we just finished dinner and the lights went out for 20 hours. Emma's saved our holiday! New tradition yay! read more

What a GREAT SURPRISE this place was. My wife and I have been trying different local Chinese restaurants & not being too impressed, but this place is a winner! We walked in at about 5:30p during a busy time. We were still greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the extensive menu, which was most helpful. Our food was quickly delivered to our table and it was delicious! The sushi rolls were properly rolled and the portions of fish in the rolls were generous. We ordered some food to-go was well, General Taos Spicy chicken and Pineapple Rice. They were also generous portions and packed beautifully. Our waitress was honestly joyful as she took our order and bought our food. Her attitude was wonderful with a beautiful smile. She really seemed to love serving our meal. This is a place I KNOW we will be coming back to again and again. Be sure to check out the happy hours and half price sushi hours on their website. The shrimp were plentiful and large! The vegetables were crisp. I couldnt eat but 1/3! The fried rice had lots of fresh vegetables in it. My friends got the Happy Box which couldve been enough food for the three of us!! The crab rag-goon was homemade and stuffed full! The sushi was amazing! Ahe had chicken and veg and said she loved the veg so much she would've been happy to just have that but the chicken was tasty. Our other friend had the Gen Tso chicken which was very crisp yet saucy. There wasn't anything that we didn't LOVE! The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. Our only complaint would be that the address on YELP sent us to the wrong location. Look for an old pizza hut building with a yellow Asian 1 sign. You wont be disappointed! Normally, this is the best Asian restaurant in Morristown. This evening, the small size of the restaurant was more evident than usual. The noise was so loud that I could just barely hear our waitress, and I doubt she could hear any better. And they were VERY BUSY. The food I ordered was not quite right, but corrected to my satisfaction. Small errors either on my part, the waitresses part, or due to the din surrounding us; caused the order error. Love their Sushi! BUT just recently had Lomien and Thai Curry and was very disappointed. They gave me fried rice with my Curry it is supposed to have white rice. We had the orange chicken that came with Lo mein & an eggroll. Terrible frozen chicken that was very dry and tough with an awful orange sauce if that is what you want to call it. The Lo mein was mushy so it had been over cooked, and the egg roll had no veggies,or flavor, only what we think was chicken and cabbage. We also had the Mongolian beef. The beef was tender, had an ok flavor but lacked everything else that goes with this dish. The fried rice was a joke. No egg, no flavor other than salt, no carrots, no green onions, terrible. It also came with the same awful egg roll. The service was also not good, the waitress was rude. On top of the bad food and service, the place was full of flies. The waitress started walking around with a fly swatter and proceeded to swat flies right in front of your table, on the wall behind you, on the windows beside you....it was unbelievable! read more
