I have been coming here since they opened, I wasnt to sure about have some use a string to pluck my eyebrows. I had always had my ebrows waxed. After the first time I was hooked. No more skin getting ripped off or red brows. The treading is always very precise and beautifully done. I find it to be more precise than having wax done down to the very fine little hair and less painful. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Price-wise they're great as well where else can you get your eyebrows done beautifully for $10. The only thing I wish they would do is set up the system so you can put your tip on your total with your card payments the only way to leave a tip is by cash so if you don't have cash you can't leave a tip. This place is amazing! Definitely satisfied and definitely recommend! Very low key spot, I never have to wait long. Service is quick and the ladies are very gentle when threading! This is by Far the Best experience I've had with threading! I needed to get my eyebrows done asap. I walked in and there was one lady there working and about 4 people waiting. I didn't see the board to sign in (its on the left when you walk in btw) so I sat down and no one said one word to me. not event the worker said anything to me. I finally saw the board and signed in and waited I noticed the whole time that she didn't say one word to anyone, didn't ask what they wanted or how was your day etc. I got up to the chair and she started my eyebrows didn't even ask me what look I was going for etc. Just started threading still didn't say one thing to me. Signaled me to hold my eye once again not a word... She handed me a tissue to signal that she was "done" I got up and she walked over to the register and I handed her my card and she SAID "debit or credit" that's the only words that came out of her mouth the whole time! My eyebrows are okay.. I've had better and I like to be informed on how my eyebrows are growing out to achieve the look that I want. Not a single word, The salon was kind of strange she had really loud Asian music going and she going through thread like crazy just for one person... They do, do the mouth hold here so if you are not okay with that don't go here. Some people can do it without holding it in their mouth. i was going to the asian eyebrow threading located in foothills mall because i work near there on occasion. i found out that they have a sister location located on the east side in the williams center on broadway/craycroft. i love asian threading because it doesn't pull at my skin. just the hair that i'm trying to remove! the girls are all skilled at their trade. i've never had any complaints. they are quick and make sure you're looking great by the time you leave. one of the greatest things is that they offer a punch card and when you purchase so 9, i believe you get your 10th one free! pretty awesome loyalty program to keep customers coming back. read more

I keep telling myself I should get my eyebrows threaded, and I finally caved and drove the 30 minutes across town to the asian eyebrow threading. The place is sparse but worth going to, the lady who threads saw me right away and the best part of the whole trip is that it was only 10 bucks! I've gotten theaded in California before but never in Tucson. I decided to try this place out because it's fairly close to my house. The staff is fairly nice and the place is well kept. I got my full face done with the exception of my eyebrows which I already have someone doing. The experience overall was okay but when I left, I noticed I was bleeding. I had two open wounds by my eye which I wasn't even told about. I also ended up with some red bruising by my kneck. At the very least I should have at least been told about it. Update: Stopped getting my eyebrows done here because the last three times I went, the job was rushed and my eyebrows were uneven. Wait times were also getting really bad, especially around the evenings. I think the attendants were trying to move people along quickly and that led to the rushed and sloppy jobs. The second time I pointed out the stray hairs and the person threading didn't look happy about me asking her to clean up a little better. Found a new go-to place. read more

I'm from Chicago and I've been getting my eyebrows threades for years with great success, and this place is not even close to the where I go at home, its also significantly more expensive. Ive been here twice now and I wasn't satisfied either time. The last time I was there when I checked my eyebrows in the mirror at the end and told her I didn't like them (she threaded them jagged) she wouldn't redo them because she said they just needed to "grow out." I used to go to the one on the south side in the spectrum and I loved it. Always took me in right away and left my eyebrows looking amazing. I stopped waxing because it hurt more and my eyebrows didn't come out as good. I loved to the east side of town and was happy to find this one over here! I used to get my brows done by the same older Asian lady but she is no longer works there. Now it's a younger girl and barely speaks English. I got my brows done once by her and didn't like them. It was uneven and way thinner then I wanted. Then I got my sideburns threaded and she ended getting the thread stuck on my hair line and pulled a lot of hairs out. Now I have a lot of baby hairs growing on the top and it just looked bad. I wanted to get my brows done again and give her another chance but I told her repeatedly that I had eyebrow make up on and she didn't understand. She didn't wipe or clean my brows and she almost started threading. I told her 3 times that I had make up on and she kept trying to thread it anyway instead of clean it off first. So I just had to stop her because I couldn't trust her. It used to be better, sadly I can't trust going back here. I'll have to try another location. read more

I would not recommend the place since they are only bothered about making money and do not care if your face is ruined. I give it 1 star because that is the lowest. If it were upto me, I would give them negative rating! Being an Indian, threading is not new to me or my face. I have been doing threading on my face for quite some time now and I feel good every time after it cause my face cleans up. But my visit to Asian eyebrow ruined it for me. The lady was very unprofessional. She did not even once suggest ways in which my pain could be reduced while she plucked hair from my cheek. After she was done, I had a look in the mirror and saw many spots on my face where hair was left out. I asked her to clean them out and she kept threading in places I had not indicated had hair. I was alsonot happy with the eyebrow cause she had not shaped it at all, she had just cleaned it up. I had to ask her twice to work on the eyebrow. As if this was not enough, the next day I had bruises all over my face. These were literally cuts from her being very rough with the thread on my face. When I went to the lady and told her, she did not have a bit of remorse in her tone. I thought she would give me a refund or something cause bruises are not my skin's problem, but caused due to her not doing her job well. Well, she did not offer anything to me. The bruises are painful right now and I cannot go out with my face all bruised (it literally looks like razor cuts). I am very dissatisfied with the way she was trying to find out excuses when I went to show her my bruised face. No complaints! I was worried when I moved to Tucson about 5 years ago that there wouldn't be any place to feed the brow threading addiction I had developed in NYC. Asian Eyebrow Threading has filled that gap. I used to go to the one up in Foothills Malls but the Broadway location is nearer to me so I'm glad that space is there. I breezed in on Saturday only to find a woman I did not recognize. Meet Dawn. I was skeptical and picky. I told her that I wanted her to thread my eyebrows but I told her I wanted them thick... not like hers :) and I tried to instruct her to brush them first. I thought I'd try this place and I will not return. The esthetician applied too much pressure, which has caused a lot of redness and irritation. Granted it is normal to experience slight discomfort, but not pain. The girl kept breaking thread, which I attribute to high pressure than what is needed. But since I was with a friend who comes here all the time, I figured I might as well give it a try. The threading itself was minimally uncomfortable, much less than I expected. I got my eyebrows threaded here on a Saturday with a friend. There was only one lady working that day, but the wait was not long at all. There was about one customer ahead of us. Keep in mind that I have gotten my eyebrows threaded before so I knew what to expect. Threading can cause a little pain but it shouldn't be to too bad. Unfortunately the pain was so unbearable with the lady doing my eyebrows here! Like I said, I've had this done before quite a few times and I can honestly say she was very rough as she was threading my eyebrows ! This time it hurt way more then even my first time! My eyebrows came our fine, I have no complains on that. The process was very uncomfortable though. I will recommend this place to those who have gotten their eyebrows threaded before. For those who haven't, I suggest getting them done with someone who a friend can recommend, who they know is a little more gentle maybe. Threading always can cause a little discomfort but it shouldn't have been that bad. And who knows that might have been just bad luck on my side. I went in with full eyebrows that needed to be clean up. I sat up from the chair & realized my left eyebrow was much thinner and jagged. I mentioned to the woman terrible job & she said "Oh I thought it was like that." Me not wanting cause a scene, walked to the register to pay for this terrible job....and she proceeds to charge me full price. Quietly, I say, "even though you completely wrecked my eyebrow?"
