I'm have dyed my hair multiple times and go to professionals because of the color I request. Multiple ladies worked together and couldn't get the correct hair color. Very expensive for the incorrect color and didn't even try to correct their mistake. I won't be going back. Beware of the false information given prior to booking.

I felt so beautiful the day of the wedding - largely because I had wonderful people taking care of me so I wouldn't have to worry about messing up my make-up or hair! Sara is an incredibly positive and optimistic person - she did a great job of bringing a presence that was calm (but fun!) and was talking about how perfect the day would be. It was really great to have someone with a personality like hers to help me get ready for such a special occasion. She did my trial on the same day of our engagement pictures and she listened to my requests (I wanted to look like myself aka no heavy make-up) and knew the exact right products to use. I did the trial + day of package which included a product (I think just one but maybe it was 2 or 3? AH! I can't remember) but I still use those products 6 months later because I love them so much. My make-up stayed for the entire day and still looked great 10-12 hours after she did it. She was on-time and very professional. Would totally recommend About Face - and make sure you ask for Sara!

I don't live in Rochester, MN but was due for a cleaning. There was a woman who sat behind the counter on the phone. She approached the girl who was next up but that girl requested for another woman. So, that woman behind the counter came towards me. I specifically told her not to thread my eyebrows a certain way but she didn't seem to listen. My eyebrows turned out exactly what I told her not to do. I told her how I wanted it fixed. She attempted to fix it then handed me the mirror. My eyebrows were very thin and uneven! It looked like two different eyebrows on my face. I wanted to cry but told her I will just pay for it and fix it at home. Be cautious. It is true. Service is inconsistent. I wouldn't do it unless you know who will be threading your eyebrows.

It was horrible to the point it needs to be public. In fact at first, I thought it was a joke and was photoshopped an could not possibly be that bad. The online portfolio for this company is embarassing. Lack of experience, terrible attention to detail and a lack of knowledge in the tattooing industry by a company that has changed business names twice. That's a red flag. Look at references and portfolios before permanent change are made to your face. Its not reversible. After posting an online review about this company i was threatened by an attorney claiming the company owner wants to sue me for defamation. Reviews are protected under Free Speech laws so I left it up. They clearly do not want their shoddy work being made public. Bad ownership, bad work, bad reputation. STAY AWAY.
