Me and my husband ended up in this small town and were craving some fried rice. While we were at Kroger grabbing groceries, we spotted this little Chinese restaurant and decided to check it out. They had a ton of options on the menu, which made it hard to choose! We ordered the House Special Fried Rice and the Broccoli with Garlic Sauce. We didn't have to wait long at all. The staff was friendly and had our food ready in no time, perfect for a quick takeout meal. The portions were generous (which was perfect because we were starving!), and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and authentic. It was our first visit and I can say we will be back. The food was really good and tasty. The sauce from the sesame chicken was very flavorful and the portion size was good enough for leftovers. The General Chicken wasn't my favorite but it is something I would revisit again. While the ambiance of the place doesn't provide a sit down and get comfortable vibe. The food pairs well with a great show or subtle music at home. The service was prompt and speedy but it was an authentic type of restaurant. So be prepared for a possible language barrier. read more

ordered sweet and sour chicken the sauce was watered dow, chicken tasted like sea food or old oil. the fried rice had no veggies and was flavorless. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was sent out as a to go order we clearly stated dining in. we had to point to menu because they didn't understand English. There was slim to no seating. Table was sticky and it was hot inside the restaurant. we left over half our food sitting on table. read more

Omg. I m end up this small town, and get to try this china restaurant, it was soooooo good and so reasonable. We love their house fried rice so much, their broccoli were so good. They closed Monday, so come other days. It's a family owned restaurant, and they are very friendly and nice. Definitely recommend it read more

While this is the typical chinese takeout with the same menu you see everywhere else, unfortunately there food is poor compared to the others. Out of the 5 or 6 times ive gone, only twice was my food edible. The other times it was disgusting, either like they burned the orange sauce while making it and didnt care, or whether this rice taste like it was scraped out if the trash. Its very disappointing, and i have given this place more then its fair chance. And while i do let it roll off, i do have to agree with other reviewers, the woman at the counter has a horrible attitude no matter how polite you are. Soup came out with 1 mushroom cut in half with a few scallions floating on top. My daughter likes the honey chicken, my mother likes the house fried rice... I don't care for the food. The staff is there to get the job done, nothing else. The location is convenient when I am at the market next-door. I have never eaten in the restaurant, I always stop for Takeaway. I give it three stars because my mother and my daughter seem to really like it. But for myself, I would give it one star it's just not the type of fresh Chinese food I like. read more

Went here on a whim with the family. The food was actually really delicious. Portions are good for the price. Only downside is they dont have dine in due to covid but otherwise the food was tasty. Would recommend it and will be visiting again for our chinese food cravings in the future. read more

Take out for this place only. There is only 6 tables in a 20x25 area. The kitchen is humming with activity. The menu is a paper to-fold. (Really?) There are no drinks, except for can or bottles ( should have left them). Of which 100 ft next door at Kroger it would be substantial cheaper in price. There is no decor giving any air of fine Chinese cooking. Sitting here, it's disconnect and depressing to come to a sit down restaurant and have only teenagers playing iPads behind the counter. Once served, the server/owner? Was talking on the phone from exiting the kitchen to plate delivery. Returning only to provide the flimsiest of substandard spook and fork, of which could not poke broccoli with out splaying out. Not even asking if all is well or anything else. -No manors. Still 10 min later, on same call. -All sauces come in plastic squeeze packets. -The food, broccoli n Beef was fine, fresh. -The 'fried rice' was regular rice with a healthy dose of soy sauce. While I struggle poking broccoli, the iPad playing teenagers just now sat at a adjoining table. The server/owner provided them metal fork and spoon?!? I'd Recommend to by pass this place. Best take out Chinese in Seymour , I've ate here since they opened over 15 years ago. Walk in place an order go next door to Kroger's grab a drink and it's usually ready to pick up in 7-8 minutes , good food, nice people , I'd recommend it to anyone read more

this shop makes the best pork-fried-rice one can get...also Gen Sao Chicken is great.....located next to Kroger's on Chapman Hwy And...most selections are ready in 10 min....mostly takeout..but can eatin 10 to 15 people. read more
