This place is a scam. The "therapist" didn't know what she was doing and didn't speak English so you cant even explain where you want her to apply pressure. When it came time for the bill, they tried to charge me an extra $10 on top of what was agreed on their services menu. Then when my credit card statement came, they gave themselves a nice $50 tip. Called before I walked in and asked about an hour foot. She told me the price, $60, ok fine. I come in 5 minutes later and she says no to foot only body or at least that's what I made out. I went across the street for an hour @ $5o. Wont return. read more

In all fairness I did not have a service performed here. I called ahead for an appointment on a Sunday and when I arrived there was not one other customer and only one person running the place. That kind of creeped me out. It felt like something was wrong. The other problem was the serious stench of cigarette smoke. read more

I was in town from for a training class & I called and made a 7 p.m. appointment for a 90 minutes deep tissue massage. I arrived at 6:50 and was told she could only do an hour and to pay upfront. I asked about the free 20 minute foot massage offered to first time visitors listed on yelp and she declined it. I was shown which room to go in & told to wait 5 minutes. The lady in which she hadn't revealed her name continue to make phone calls and her native language talking loudly. She came in the room at 7 and said she would be doing my massage I told her my bad spots and she began to massage about 5 minutes later she made a phone call in the middle of my massage. After about two minutes of her speaking I told her ma'am I'm paying for a service. She apologized and continue to give my massage. Twice in the next 20 minutes she open the room door and hollered out to her front receptionist area hello is anyone there. While I am undressed on the massage bed. The massage was alright, but the extremely loud clock & unprofessional mannerisms will definitely scratch this shop off the list. She offered me water, She then had the audacity to say "there is no tip for me?" I told her no due to the unprofessional behavior such as making phone calls during my paid for massage and I left. So yes the massage was decent but if you are looking for relaxing, quiet, peaceful escape like I was hoping for ( everyone else was booked) this isn't the place. read more

I had seen this place several times, but passed it up because of what it looked like from the outside. I had severe pain in my shoulder and really needed rub down. I decided to give them a try and book an appointment. DD was my massage therapist and was extremely professional. She proceeded to give me the best deep tissue massage I've ever had. I normally go to very high-end spas and avoid smaller one such as this. Once I was in the back I was pleasantly surprised by their way out. The room they put me in was laid out extremely well and I had top-of-the-line equipment. I was not surprised to find out that DD sister who open the spa use to work for Spa Sydell. When I started training for a Marathon back in May I thought a good massage might help get rid of sore muscles. I found jSpa and Jacqui has been great. She can work a specific area and really reduce the soreness and recovery time. Whether you are looking for a sports or swiss they do a great job. I've been looking for a massage therapist since the chiropractor I used to frequent cut back and raised rates. In late April, I checked the Acworth area, and JSPA had good reviews. I am not into social media, so I very rarely write reviews, good or bad. That being said, I love this place and their staff. Jackie (the owner) is very accommodating, decent rates, and EXCELLENT service! I am very sensitive in some areas, and NOT very in others. Angela (my therapist) said, she was firm handed, but I told her not to hold back. I'd let her know when too firm, and she did not disappoint. I was expecting to be a little sore the next day, but nope! Best professional massage I've had... Ever! So, for my fiancées birthday I gifted her the "Pamper Me #4 - Massage, Facial, & Lunch". She booked for Mothers day weekend. She has sensitive skin, and usually breaks out afterwards, but she still love to get them. Her words, Best massage ever! And, she didn't break out. Now we have a place to go regularly. And, they can handle couples massages too. So, the only thing we have to figure out is which one of us gets Angela, unless she can massage both of us simultaneously, humm??? read more

We've been here a few times. The reflexology massage and the full body are both good, however, the last time we were there remodeling was going on next door and it sounded like a jackhammer coming through the floor. It wasn't exactly the most relaxing massage I had ever had. I know they have no control over the construction, but I feel like more could be done temporarily to help quiet the noise better.
