Came here with my parents. Ordered scallop and shrimp with spicy xo sauce. The sauce added some kick but I was hoping it was spicier. They toppled the seafood with a lot of greens which I wasn't crazy about. I probably should've ordered something different like with noodles maybe. Finally found a somewhat local actual dine in Asian restaurant. The mixed reviews paint a varied picture of the place but we have it a try. Nice an open seating with a sushi bar option. Service was good and fast, as we hadn't even pulled out or chairs and a bowl of nice crispy Chinese noodles and duck sauce was on the table. The staff really do hustle about no loitering here. Nice menu selection with options of sushi, hibachi, Asian dishes and drink menu. The steamed potstickers were ok, as they were just warm but were tasty. The pepper steak was done very well, nice portion and served hot. The seafood noodles were kind of bland, but the scallops and shrimp were good and fresh. Well six years later I decided to give it a another try because a friend wanted to come here. Once again I tried my Thai red chicken curry and it came out like soup all veggies were overcooked compared to traditional Thai cuisine. The green peppers, onions, bean sprouts were soggy mush. Both dishes were ordered spicy and only the curry came out spicy , the Thai Basil barely had 2 maybe 3 basil leaves in and as for veggies it has snap peas, onions, & zucchini. This past year, I've been trying a few of the other small takeout Chinese restaurants nearby. Asian Yummy House is still the best. We ordered takeout. My food was ready when I arrived to pick it up 20mins after I ordered it. Salt & pepper calamari was pretty good. Shredded pork w/ green beans is always good. I think I order this almost every time. Chicken w/ eggplant in garlic sauce was delicious... first time ordering this & I love it! Today was also the first time I ordered beef chow fun, and that was DELICIOUS also! We had Mongolian Beef and Beef Chow Fun. When did Mongolian Beef's recipe change from green onion and beef to white/yellow onion and beef? I can only guess that the yellow onion is cheaper but let me tell you it's not the same dish with it. Disappointing. The beef was very tender. The chow fun was good, same beef, good noodles. Good thing I ordered extra vegetables for &1.00 otherwise there wiuldn't have been any. The food was hot and tasty though. I have been here a few times now and the food it very good. You feel good after eating here and that's a plus for me. I love the steak appetizer and the chicken hibachi. I tried Mongolian beef this time, asked for it a little spicier, General Tso's chicken and beef noodles. The Mongolian beef was tender and the onions added great flavor. We really like the noodles here ,they are cooked well and have flavor throughout. The General Tsos was not very good. The chicken was dry , inside, and there wasn't much sauce. Finally got a chance to visit this location. Overall I was very impressed with the consistent value, quality and tastiness of all the Yummy House restaurants, especially in this transitional area. Excellent meals in a surprising venue. Definitely deserves four stars. I would say that what stands out about this branch is their extensive Japanese offerings and the outside plain facade. I moved to Sun City a year and a half ago and I have been looking for a really good Asian restaurant. So I found the Asian yummy House and on April 26 of 2025. I ordered to take out order for the first time. I got the chicken fried rice and the beef with broccoli. Right now I am in a complete state of gastronomic bliss. I've gone to several other Chinese restaurants in the Sun City area and they were all adequate, but not anything to get jazzed up about. The Asian yummy house is exactly what I have been looking for the food was spectacular. I ordered it for takeout. They told me it would be 15 minutes. I got there within 15 minutes or less and my food was already bagged up and ready to go at the counter. This from now on is going to be my go to place for Asian food. They have a great menu with tons of choices and the two options that I got was fantastic. I am now going to take a happy yummy nap with a belly full of delicious food. Went and got lunch special takeout of kung pao chicken, wonton soup and an egg roll. It is not the best Chinese I have ever had and not the worse I ever had. I was so excited to find a place that did hibachi and Thai to satisfy everyone in my home. I ordered beef hibachi, medium rare. I asked for extra yum yum sauce. I got well done meat with no sauce. I love that they have both a Japanese and Chinese menu (full menus at that), so you get the best of both worlds. This time, I ordered takeout for the other half's birthday celebration (low-key, hibachi at home) and asked if they had a birthday candle they could throw in for me to stick in his meal in lieu of having a birthday cake. Hidden at the back of a strip mall is the gem we have been looking for, very good Chinese and Thai and Sushi all in one restaurant. I had the seafood fried noodles, which was authentic and delicious reminding me of meals I enjoyed in Singapore/Hong Kong style Hawker Markets. My wife got the Thai Garlic Chicken. It too had the genuine flavors of Bangkok. Spicy, earthy and slightly sweet. The exterior is nondescript, but the interior is open, modern, and comfortable. When there for a nice Friday night dinner which we have done in the past. We even talked about bringing our out of town friends there next week. The dinner was delicious as usual. When we got our to-go boxes and put the remainder in the box we found black hairs at the bottom of the plate. Pros/cons: food still pretty awesome(at least mine) I had once again the yummy chicken dish.. the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars this time is bc there was a piece of plastic in my dish, the side of a quarter.. when I notified our server, my dish was automatically replaced with a new dish.. my only disappointment in that is typically as courtesy, the right thing to do is to take that dish off the check .. instead he took the lowest possible item off the check that had nothing to do with the meal.. possibly for tip purposes, who knows.. Great lunch specials. The food is fresh and when delivered, it usually comes before they say it will be there.my hubby had the sesame Chicken which comes with all white meat. Not too thick breading. Just right. The sauce wasn't too sweet either. I had a spicy tuna hand roll that had a lot of tuna. (You can order it with no rice for $2 more.) The nori wrap was crisp.
