It was 3 am in the morning, the receptionist was nonchalant and unapologetic about the situation. We were not going to swap rooms due to the unsanitary situation to so we checked out and had to start our trip home early to sanitize and isolate our belongings. Because it was 3AM Janelle stated that she couldn't do anything and we would have to wait for Mr. Carlos Zavala to call. He never called so I reached out to. Mr. Zavala and he claimed that he had someone come out and checked the room and couldn't find anything. He also started to insinuate that the rooms headboard doesn't match their records when clearly we checked in to room 308 and had photos of our experience. Do not stay here unless you plan on bringing bed bugs home!! They have no accountability and would rather deny the outbreak rather improve their customer service and room cleanliness. Not worth it.

I probably wouldn't stay here again. There are better hotels in the area for the price…read more Pros: Close to the airport. Ronny, at the front desk, and the other staff are very friendly, professional, and polished. Good, hot water pressure in the shower. The gym is pretty good- water was always stocked, equipment worked, plenty of towels. They have a couple of bikes, free weights, a rower, and other cardio machines. Cons: Proximity to the airport leads to a lot of noise, making it difficult to sleep. They did provide earplugs which didn't help very much. No room service. Responses to messages on the Marriott app are slow. No makeup mirror in the bathroom. Room was uninspiring. There was one small drawer and no other place to unpack. The shower was of dubious cleanliness. Coffee machine in the room was sub-par (W has nespresso for example). Limited toiletry extras. Housekeeping doesn't go the extra mile (for example arranging toiletries for you, restocking lotion, etc).

Don't get me wrong, the home in phoenix was super cute. BUT when it's 90 degrees outside and the…read morehouse is hotter than it is out there, it's not worth the money. I think maybe air bnbs in Arizona should require AC? Idk if that's just me. She treated our group like we didn't know how to operate a very simple thermostat. So much that it took her hours of telling us how to use it, that it was too late for a technician to come. It was so hot, we had to be outside. We had 10 people. 1 was pregnant, and 4 more of us were not drinking. She tried to charge $1,000 for a noise complaint that was never made. Which she says that her neighbor took "multiple videos and photos" of our "house party" of girls in the pool with bikinis on! She never sent the actual video that we can listen to. Just a screenshot. But that pretty creepy of the neighbor to take videos of girls in the pool. So maybe don't use the pool if you stay at her house in phoenix. . Besides that, going back to the house being 86 DEGREES and her not caring or being apologetic at all. It was finally fixed 6:30 pm on Saturday, but it probably took until 8pm to cool from 86 degrees to 73. Not once were we rude to her. We could've been under these circumstances. Sorry your ego is fragile and you're unable to take constructive criticism. A woman of your age, I would expect a bit more professionalism and maturity. House is cute tho! Good job decorating! PS. We don't need your money. Your house with no ac just wasn't worth it. But thanks for the feedback. A budget in or hostel would've probably had better service and AC. This isn't "retaliation" for money. Just standing up for my friends and letting everyone know you're a pathological liar when we have every screen shot and video proof of everything.

Ellie is the most unprofessional business owner I have ever come in contact with. The beginning of…read moreour stay was okay, not great, but okay. We arrived in late April to a home in Phoenix Arizona that had no working AC. The issue was brought up to Ellie at around 6pm on a Friday. It wasn't until 6:30pm on SATURDAY that we got AC. She argued back and forth for the first two hours asking us the same question "Did you try adjusting the AC?" We spent 60% of our stay (yes, 60%) with no air conditioning. After asking for some sort of partial refund or even FANS, we were not given either. After spending close to $2000 for a two night stay, we requested a partial refund which was denied immediately. Ellie then starts to send VERY unprofessional messages to our group after we left an HOENST review. She lies to Airbnb stating that we were comfortable in the home and that it "wasn't that hot" Try setting your house to 86° in the middle of the day in Arizona and tell me how comfortable you are Ellie. She then writes a review stating that we had a "large shouting party after hours". She was aware this was a bachelorette party, we were all inside by 9:45pm (Quiet hours is 10pm) and we didn't even fill the max occupancy of the home. After we requested a refund, Ellie decides to request $1000 in damages for being noisy BEFORE QUIET HOURS and lies and states it was after hours. I'm sorry but paying for a home we couldn't use for 60% of our stay Is not okay. I hope you learn some hospitality and customer service skills or this business isn't going to make it very far.

We've been owners for 33 years. And needed to come to Phoenix area for an extended two week day…read more This resort is not up to par with many of the others. First of all, it's not in the very best neighborhood unmarked business complex Overall, the grounds have great potential. However, it doesn't seem like they put much effort into the resort to freshen it up. Externally building seem kind of old and like it needs to be painted. A lot of of the lava rock in the beds are shifting and you can see the landscape fabric. There's a lot of dead Brush and trees. But I will say the pool area is very nice. There are too hot tubs and pool with grills around the area as well. Our room, well I think it still has a furniture from the 90s. Like I said we've been owners for a long time and this is the stuff that I remember when we first started visiting different resorts. Everything's a little bit worn. One of our dining room tables is wobbly. Paint is chipping and peeling, tiles are loose, grout in the corners and flooring seems to be missing. When we arrived, multiple outlets were not working, our phone was not working. The kitchen was dirty and the refrigerator still had crumbs and smudges from the prior renters. The bathroom I had a hair and thick conditioner that was stuck on the walls and hardened. They did come and clean, but they still miss stuff. So I had to do my own cleaning. There's no mop in the room. There are no mops anywhere in any of the rooms and every time I've gone to go get one, they don't have one. You have LVP flooring, world marked by Windom put freaking mops in the rooms. People are going to spill. This unit sleeps for, but we didn't have towels for four only for three. I don't think I would come back to this resort. Unless they do some renovation. They can't help the area, but they can help the grounds. You're near where the Dodgers place spring ball, near ASU, about 25 minutes from Scottsdale. They are hiking trails that surround the area. I don't know if the staff is great and helpful. But I asked for laundry detergent. No one brought it. I offered to go get it. They're like we'll bring it and it never happened. But I happen to see housekeeping across the way so I grabbed two from them. When I ask for information it's sort of nonchalant guest service. The travel and leisure education was misleading. They want to present like it's no pressure but they're giving you misinformation. And I called them out on it. But the "educator" said I just tell you what they tell me. Which to me was not a good answer like you need to understand what you're telling guest you cannot tell them that it's a free upgrade when you actually mean well the value you get from the benefit of upgrading is going to be like it is a free upgrade. It is not free And they try to argue that the benefits make it seem that way because there's all these other ways of using the credits and all these other perks. Which is fantastic, but I don't want to spend 30 grand to keep me at the same level. to the next level or 40-50k to get me to the next level. Even though if you have that available in your pocket, the number of credits are spent on this resort for two weeks would've gotten me about five weeks elsewhere. Anyways, don't lie that it's a "free upgrade" in January. Anyhow, if you have an option and you need to stay for a day or two this place will do, but if you really wanna enjoy a beautiful resort head to the Scottsdale location.
