My cousin recommended Dr. Rahni at this practice and I'm so glad he did. In my first appointment I legit just cried at the horrific treatment I endured at my former place and Dr. Rahni listened to me, affirmed me, deftly practiced weight neutrality, and gave me a physical examination based on consent (imagine!) and gentle touch. If you're fat you are probably keenly aware of how many doctors don't want to actually touch your body smh so this was huge. The bar is truly in hell but That's Reality As A Fatty Seeking Medical Care. He also changed my meds and I had great results within days. The problem still isn't "cured" but Ive been able to manage it much better and for that I'm pleased. Fat things: The exam tables are large and study. And I dunno if they just assessed the situation and put me in a room with great tables or if the whole practice is set up that way but regardless, much appreciated. One less fat mental load thing to worry about. I read the other reviews about the surly front office. I didn't experience that when I initially made my appointment, however when I had to reschedule my second appointment the person on the other end tried to get greasy. Emphasis on tried because in 2024 we're not letting that stop us from getting the care that we deserve.

Their state that if you are late, they charge you $50 or cancel our appointment. Is our time not important. Furthermore, this is no way to treat patients that are already ill. I watched a lady sit & groaned in agony. This is the 3rd & last time I will ever come to this facility. The results are the same. AVOID THIS FACILITY AT ALL COST. The doctors are Dr. Muthusamy, Dr. Sivananthan, Dr. Chirla, Dr. Ramasamy.

The day my endoscopy was scheduled I didn't have my mother's schedule with me; therefore, I needed to change the endoscopy date if I wanted to be with my mother for her knee surgery. That night, I left a message. I called twice in the morning. On the 2nd. call the person answering me said, "Mom you have to give us time. The person who scheduled you will call you between patients. I called 2 more times in the afternoon asking to please return my call since the more I waited to move my endoscopy for another date, the less chance they could have an opening on the dates available. I ended up going again to the place. The young lady who scheduled me came to the door and said, "I promised we will call you today before 5." That never happened. The next day, I went to the place again (when they opened). I asked to speak with the HR manager. I waited 25 minutes for the lady that scheduled me 2 days before moved my endoscopy date, but not to the date I wanted and therefore I can't be with my mom the day of her surgery. The manager didn't bother to come to the window. She was there and she ignored me. This is the 2nd time the staff is careless with patients. I will still go there because the doctors are very good and they take their time; however, I would like to see some improvement in the way the staff works.

Not sure why I always ignored my health tests but I'm glad I now take my health more seriously. Having his wife Dr Jill Kavaler as my Anesthesiologist made the experience even better. They are really nice people on top of being great Doctors. I wasn't very comfortable when I arrived for my 1st Colonoscopy but the Ladies at the Front quickly made me feel relaxed and glad I came. I wasn't handed a bunch of papers to fill out like some other Medical places do. Everything was nice and seamless and quick but not rushed. The staff were all extremely nice. Thanks to Shayiqua, Chelsea, Yariette and Janice up front and Chris and Riley who did my intake. Thanks to Tammy and Alejandra, Jonathan and Daniel, Emilio and Daribel. Big thanks again to Drs Leo and Jill Kavaler and the entire team!

I had a very disappointing experience at this office today when I arrived for my SIBO breath test…read more From the moment I walked in, the woman at the front desk was hostile and unwelcoming. I explained that I had never received the preparation instructions for the test. Rather than trying to help or find a solution, she immediately focused on telling me that I had opened the patient portal more than 10 days ago. I've never been to a medical office that sends critical test instructions so far in advance of the appointment and assumes patients will remember to go back and review them days later. A simple reminder closer to the appointment would have prevented this situation. Instead of showing empathy or working with me to resolve the issue, she raised her voice, repeatedly told me to "take accountability," and handled the interaction in an extremely confrontational and unprofessional manner. I felt like I was being scolded rather than helped. The entire exchange was unnecessarily uncomfortable and stressful. Customer service, especially in healthcare, should be centered on professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those qualities here. The interaction left me feeling so uncomfortable that I no longer feel safe or confident having my SIBO test performed at this location. I hope the practice invests in customer service and conflict resolution training for its front desk staff, because no patient should be treated this way.
