3,200 some dollars later, 800.00+ in rental fees and my car clutch still does not shift right. I…read moretook the car back 4 times 1) when starting it would clunk-motor mounts not tightened 2) junk noises from underneath- left screwdriver in suspension. 3) clutch still not engaging/disengaging right 4) still not shifting right and the ESC light comes on by itself. My clutch would not always work just goes to the floor, won't go into gear, won't come out of gear. Steering wheel now not aligned with wheels. Took it to another mechanic he said that the clutch master cylinder had not been replaced and I paid for a new one. The new mechanic looked up the parts and found a clutch, flywheel and pressure plate set for $490.00 I was told from Wallace they were giving me a good deal and no markup because they were a thousand dollars each, the flywheel and the clutch. SO, they made over 1,500 in just those two parts alone. I was still paying for the car, had to pay off the loan trade it in as I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS CAR. SO, in a matter of a couple weeks I paid the 3,200, 800.00 and then 2,500 to pay off the loan on top of the 4k as a down payment. I hope they had a good Christmas because I sure as heck did not. I used to trust this place 100% when Dad and Son ran it.********* I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS PLACE NOW. I DO NOT THINK ANY OF THE WALLACES DAD OR SON RUN THIS PLACE ANYMORE. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING THERE EVER AGAIN. I NEEDED MY CAR AS I AM A TEACHER WHO TEACHES SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN. I HAD TO TAKE SEVERAL DAYS OFF and then get a rental. I hope they are out of business soon, so they cannot do this to other people, IF they can rip off a teacher, they can rip off anyone.

Took my pickup to Dave for a large EVAP leak that other mechanics couldn't fix. Dave advised if he…read morecouldn't find the leak it would be free (no labor charge) and that in and of itself is a rare find. It only took Dave half a morning to find my issue all why testing all my other EVAP parts including my gas tank. The repair was done quickly and I can't be happier. Dave will be my go to in the future for every vehicle issue. Thanks Dave for being the far and few honest mechanics.

I would strongly encourage anyone considering this shop to do their homework before trusting them…read morewith major repairs. In December, my Volkswagen GTI was repaired here, with over $4,000 worth of work listed on the invoice, including front-end repairs, cooling system work, air conditioning repairs, alignment, and wheel replacement. The vehicle was returned to me, and within one week the head gasket failed. Shortly afterward, my insurance company determined the vehicle was a total loss. While I cannot prove that every item listed on the invoice was not performed, the condition of the vehicle after the repairs left me with serious concerns about the quality and completeness of the work. After spending thousands of dollars, I expected the vehicle to be returned in a safe and reliable condition. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the situation was handled afterward. The shop advertises a warranty and states that they stand behind their repairs, but when I sought assistance regarding the mechanical failure that occurred immediately after the work was completed, I was given the runaround rather than meaningful support. In my experience, the warranty did not provide the protection that was represented. Additionally, the man working in the office alongside Laura was consistently disrespectful and unprofessional during my interactions with the business. He stated he completed the work himself and " knew there wasn't anything wrong " then proceeded to ask me " what's wrong " I gave him his tone of voice back stating " I'm not a mechanic but I can smell coolant " The shop revised their work and returned the car with me a second time/third time. Whenever I received the car back the 3rd and final time, I drove 12 miles before the coolant leaked completely out and blew the head gasket. Between the significant repair bill, the major engine failure shortly after the vehicle was returned, the lack of accountability, and the poor customer service, I cannot recommend this shop. I hope my experience helps others make a decision.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop…read more I brought my car in for ONE repair. They did a completely different repair without my authorization and then tried to stick me with a nearly $9,000 bill. When GEICO's claim was "taking too long," instead of working with me, the situation escalated -- and my car ended up being repossessed even though I was making payments. Unauthorized work. Inflated charges. Zero transparency. Zero accountability. Do not trust this shop with your vehicle. Take your business somewhere else
